Is Anheuser-Busch Drunk? The Beer Behemoth Is

Another all-American brand, Anheuser-Busch, has jumped on the woke train. The maker of Budweiser, among other brands with a robust craft beer collaboration line, has partnered with radical professors in education and humanities at Arizona State University (ASU) to develop and implement a 15-module training program called “To Be Welcoming.” It is based on critical race and gender theory. According to a whistleblower who spoke with PJ Media, an e-mail from “Chief People Officer” Lindsay King announced the program on March 24, 2021. In the letter, King uses typical language about an inclusive workplace and how diversity brings better ideas. This new curriculum follows “Psychological Safety” training

The only thing Anheuser-Busch should be worrying about is if they have the best people making the best beer. Throwing a bunch of PC BS into their brew will do nothing to improve their products or bottom line. It will alienate and annoy employees and put off many customers.

#5, I used to drink beer - lots of it. And the last time I drank a beer was December 31, 1973. But during my drinking days, no one ever said Budweiser was the best beer. It was acceptable, and did what alcohol is supposed to do. If the brewery instituted this gender stuff because perverts drank more beer, I would understand it. Sell more beer, run ads that make beer drinking joyous. Show same sex couples, preferably multi racial. But don't burden your employees with silly pronouns. (I tend to be anti-pronoun, in part because I sometimes don't know who Mrs. Lakerman is talking about. She says stuff like, "They were supposed to go to the party, but she decided that they would not, because the rest of them might show up." What? Who?)

My Dad drank Budweiser. He said you have to chew the first one, but they get better after that. I used to drink Michelob before they changed it into that low calorie swill. Another iconic product bites the dust. I recommend Shiner Beer products, made at the Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner, Texas by a lot of hard-headed Germans and Czechs who know they are there to make BEER.

White House: Joe Biden Focused on Making
Life Better for Migrants, Not Visiting the Border

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday that President Joe Biden was focused on making life better for unattended migrant minors on the border, not traveling to the southern border to address the crisis. “Our focus remains on solutions,” she said at the White House daily press briefing. She dismissed calls for President Biden to visit the southern border to address the crisis, arguing it would not help the children found unattended on the border. “If going to the border changed that or helped that, that would be one thing, but our focus is on implementing pieces so we can make their lives better,” she said.

Still, at least one poll paid by Democratic state Sen. Annette Taddeo’s political committee, shared exclusively with POLITICO, shows that Democrats may have some openings to go after

After four years of the media fluffing letters from “former officials” and the like insisting that Donald Trump should be impeached, be charged with crimes, and not eat chocolate ice cream, the tables have turned just a bit. A group of 124 retired generals and admirals have penned a letter questioning Joe Biden’s mental fitness and urging the government to take election integrity seriously. You’ll have to excuse The Hill’s framing in the excerpt below. They aren’t nearly as accepting of this act of “civic duty” as they were when the target was Trump.

The Biden Administration announced on Tuesday that it was temporarily waiving EPA restrictions on the sale of the “winter-time” gasoline formulation in major metropolitan areas of three states, and the District of Columbia, as part of an effort to add to the available inventories that can be used to address the gas shortage. The states are Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland, along with DC. Normally, each April and May, the EPA requires gasoline manufacturers to begin delivering different formulations of gasoline in certain metropolitan areas because the “summertime” formulation produces fewer emissions from automobile engines. When that change happens, refiners and distributors are sometimes left with excess

The Consumer Price Index (CPI), which tracks the cost of a variety of consumer goods as well as housing and energy prices, has risen 4.2 percent from a year ago, notably higher than the estimated 3.6 percent. It is the largest yearly increase since September 2008. Even controlling for food and energy prices, the CPI was up three percent, higher than the estimated 2.3 percent. The 0.9 percent CPI increase from March, again controlling for food and energy prices, is the highest since April 1982. This data comports with Americans’ everyday experiences. On Tuesday, the average price of a gallon of gas rose to $2.99, the highest figure since November 2014.
