I’m Still not Getting the Vaccine

Original Article

Nearly 50 percent of Americans polled think that at least some social distancing measures will be permanent. Who can blame them? We have decided to make avoiding disease our full-time job. It’s more important than going to work or seeing your friends. It’s worth destroying the established Western social convention that we be able to see each other’s faces in public. I’ve got news for you: If you spend all your time worrying about getting sick, you’re sick already. America is having a giant, hysterical, hypochondriacal fit. (Snip) As a young and healthy person, there is really no upside to vaccination. I’m simply not likely to get the disease.

Comments:

I'm old and I'm not getting the vaccine either. My chance of getting a serious side effect from the vaccine is greater than getting a serious side effect from the disease, or even of getting it at all. I'm pretty sure I've got natural immunity anyway, since I spent some close-up time with someone who came down with it the next day and I never got sick. But I don't have any obligations that require me to be around a lot of people.

If your older and relatively healthy, your also highly unlikely to get the virus. Fact is, you have a better than 95% chance of surviving this virus no matter what age, and with all the knowledge the medical field has made over the last year treating people, the odds are that you'll do fine is even better than 95%. I know the TV stations in this area are doing stories on people who survived Covid. Problem is, everyone they interview had the virus 10 months ago or more, and had secondary health issues.

FTA:"Here’s why I feel no obligation whatsoever to get the vaccine: Quite apart from it being entirely my own business (like my medical history, thank you), I will not, in theory, infect someone who is vaccinated. So my taking it is irrelevant except to myself. If everyone in society who is actually worried about getting sick takes it, our mission should be accomplished. By and large, the only people in the hospitals will be stupid guys like me who didn’t get vaccinated. " I also feel no obligation whatsoever to get the vaccine. I stopped letting other people pressure me into doing things over 50 years ago. These "vaccines" bother me for both technical biochemical reasons and political reasons. One issue for me is that all three previous trials of mRNA vaccines were ended early when the vaccine caused a fatal reaction to the disease in 100% of the lab animals. And, commanding my cells to make unending quantities of a foreign protein inside my body is not something that I approve of. I understand conventional vaccine therapy very well. A deactivated version of a deadly virus, or a biologically manufactured portion of the exterior of a deadly virus is injected. A finite addition of some specific material to 'train' your immune system for a quicker and better response to the actual virus. Well proven, if imperfect technology. Only the Novavax vaccine, not yet approved, uses this time tested approach. All the others insert RNA into your cells to command those cells to manufacture 'spike proteins' which are on the exterior of the Wuhan virus. Novavax manufactures these proteins, aggregates them into stable balls, and injects a quantity of these clumps of proteins. Nothing is manufactured inside your cells. No foreign, unknown RNA injected in your body. All that said.....I don't trust the people in charge. They have lied to me continuously all of my life, and tried to harm me by removing my rights, my money and more every single day. Why would I trust them on this highly politicized "vaccine"? And the more insistent, now bordering on frantic, that they get that we take their shot, the more distrustful I become. Not taking their vaccine.

Pretty foolish! We have about 800 people a day dying Covid. The vaccines being offered are highly effective and have very low rates of side effects. Refusing to get the vaccine is a bit like insisting that you cross the road with your eyes shut.

In the very early days my husband rode with a girl in his work truck who coughed her head off. A day later she was diagnosed with Covid. Five other workers out of twenty also got it but they were the only ones. So far we have been fine despite other exposures. We're not getting the vaccine either. My main objection is that all of the vaccine are tainted by abortion. While Johnson and Johnson (Who has made billions selling baby products for "Born" babies, ironic) and Astrazenica are the most egregious, using the fetal cells in the vaccine, Phizer and Moderna used the same cell line during testing. As a practicing Catholic my conscience will not permit me to take it. I know Pope Francis has said it's "okay" but I believe that if I take this to "save myself" I am simply contributing to the continued exploitation of that baby girl who was conceived solely for the purpose of experimentation. Not taking the vaccine may cause me some real problems however. My sister-in-law (vaccinated) who has been so close to me for 47 years and sister to my husband since his birth, will not associate with us because we are vaccinated. That really hurts

I've got their vaccine right here. Why risk an untested vaccine (the recipients are the clinical trials, whether they know it or not) to protect against a virus that won't kill me. Unfortunately, I'll probably have to get it eventually, to avoid being sent to a concentration camp.

While opinions may vary (borrowed from the Queen), and they certainly do, it is always interesting to hear the reasoning of others. Each opinion usually has a reason behind it that is supported by that person's world view. We need to understand, not castigate, one another, IMHO.

I'm not taking the vaccine either. Earlier in the 2000's, researchers experimented on mRNA vaccines and tried them out on ferrets. The ferrets died. These "vaccines" are EXPERIMENTAL. They don't have full approval of the FDA. Furthermore, some of them have been developed from cell lines derived from aborted babies. No, thank you.

I have had the virus and other than burning through an albuterol inhaler, I thought it was an asthma from an allergy, I felt no secondary conditions. I will stay in the control group (or placebo) for now.

If this is what conservatism has come to, then I'm done with conservatism. During the Trump days, the vaccine was all MAGA, although even then there were tin foil hats on the far, far fringes. As soon as Dementia Joe frauds his way into the Oval Office, the vaccine is proof of some vast left wing conspiracy to drain our bodily fluids. Not taking the vaccine doesn't make you the Rebel Alliance or Red Dawn or Captain Anti-Karen. Everything has risks. Every drug has side effects. If you read the small print, you wouldn't take any drug at all. So conservatism, here's your sign. Take the vaccine, don't take the vaccine, I personally don't care. What I do care about is people like Gelernter and Solway lowering the IQ of everybody within this arm of the Milky Way galaxy. That's the infection we have to worry about.

Hate to dog pile on #5 but his comments need to be addressed. The reports of 800 people dying a day from the Wuhan flu are highly suspect. People die every day for all sorts of reasons; old age, car accidents, cancers, drug overdoses, drownings, stabbings, shootings, blunt force trauma, infectious/non-infectious diseases, etc. etc. etc. A person dies in the US approximately every 11 seconds, coming out to 7,755 deaths per day. The US death rate in 2020 was 8.7/1000, in 2019 it was 8.8/1000 and in 2018 it was 8.7/1000. Indeed, US death rates have steadily decreased since 1971 through now (source: UNDESA). Those are the facts. What is NOT a fact is the assertion that 800 people die daily from the Wuhan Flu. Reporting criteria for COVID cases, sickness and death vary from country to country, state to state. There is financial incentive for hospitals and other health treatment facilities to list cause of death as COVID, even if the decedent succumbed from other causes and COVID was incidental. More COVID cases/deaths reported = more government funding. Result: no one really knows the number of deaths that are directly attributed to COVID but the reported numbers are skewered and grossly padded. PCR testing is also unreliable with scientific evidence revealing a 90% false positive result. Even WHO admitted as such. In addition, a positive in 97% of those cases have no symptoms at all. So, far over 9,000 Americans have tested COVID positive with 132 dead AFTER getting the as-yet-to-be FDA-approved series of experimental drugs that big pharma has been exempted from any liabilities from EUA. That’s not including the reported side effects of blood clotting, adverse impacts to women’s reproductive systems, miscarriages, COVID shedding, etc., thus far. We won’t know the long-term effects on individuals and society writ large with this gamble for years. But indications do not look promising. So yeah, I’m personally taking a risk by NOT taking a shot with too many question marks behind it. At best, the shots as advertised are supposedly 94% effective at minimizing the virus. There is only a 10% chance of getting COVID with a survival rate of 99%. I take the risk of not getting jabbed because I like the odds over an untested, experimental drug. The excuse of the ‘greater good’ be damned.

President Joe Biden has never been accused of having a gilded tongue. In fact, he once referred to himself as a "gaffe machine." But after a meandering speech in summer 2015, his top aides let loose their frustrations in a private communication to the then-vice president's son Hunter. "He just couldn't end the speech," senior White House aide Gregory Schultz exclaimed to the VP's youngest son, in apparent disbelief. The newly surfaced email, recovered by Just the News from a laptop Hunter Biden left behind at a Delaware repair shop and later turned over to the FBI, provides a rare glimpse into the Biden inner circle's efforts to corral the oft-bumbling, gaffe-prone speechmaker.

USA Today White House correspondent Courtney Subramanian brought attention to the sweets when she tweeted a photo of the cookies that closely resembled Harris. The “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” star, now 41, said she didn’t know the history of St. Louis’ Veiled Prophet Ball when she decided to participate, but isn’t making excuses for her past involvement. “Hi guys–when I was 19 years old, I decided to participate in a debutante ball in my hometown. The century-old organization that hosted the debutante ball had an unquestionably racist, sexist, and elitist past,” she began her lengthy Instagram post.

A 350-pound, large-breasted man pummeled a diminutive woman (actually two women) in Gardena, Calif., over the weekend. Fortunately, the second beating was caught on video, leading to the suspect’s arrest. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released surveillance photos and video showing the shirtless “man” coolly walk up to a woman and brutally pound her.
