Gretchen Whitmer’s Crumbling Kingdom

Original Article

Posted By: Garnet, 4/24/2021 11:08:55 AM

Last Christmas, Governor Gretchen Whitmer released one of the wildest, most mind-warping videos I’ve ever seen. It begins with her shouting, “Thank you for joining us!!” over a Zoom call, before introducing none other than Santa Claus. Several scripted and possibly terrified children then prompt Santa to talk about how he wears a mask at the North Pole and uses hand sanitizer before eating cookies, all while Whitmer hovers imperiously in the corner like some yuletide Big Brother. The video ends with her gently informing the tykes that this year they won’t be able to visit their grandparents for the holidays.

The likely reason for the surge is that due to the lockdowns, no herd immunity was developed. Similiar with all the states with tight restrictions.

Why are all the communist death democrat women in positions of power the worst of the worst? Full of shrill invective and hatred of their fellow citizens, and go absolutely mad with power. You'll also notice that a large majority of the BLM Communist rioters are obese, physically unattractive women. Why are all these women so desperately unhappy and lashing out against their own country which provides a level of living far superior to most countries. Why?

So, why haven't the Republican legislature try to remove her from office. I should think ignoring the revocation of her dictatorial powers should be legitimate grounds.

The article states that Michigan had a high number of cases at the outset and is experiencing a surge now. With her strong incompetence, it would be good if she could demonstrate that her policies are not to blame.

Her rules were so nonsensical and capricious that the citizens of the state just stopped following them. The centralized heavy-handed approach with no effective means of enforcing it just turned her into a coplete joke. It makes no sense to partially open and only what she personally approved. [Buying marijuana or getting an abortion was allowed, but gardening supplies and fish equpment were off limits.] Add on her ''do as I say not as I do'' and ''rules are for you little people'' ethos and she now looks like a joke. When the marina operator refused her husband's request to break the rules and make their boat ready to use, her arrogant husband actually asked ''don't you know who I am?''

This article could be triple in length and still not cover the consequences of her unwillingness to work with the legislature. She also blamed Michiganders for the surge, saying it was an issue of "compliance". Portland’s Pusillanimous Mayor 1 reply

In August 2020, then-President Donald Trump offered to assist the Democratic mayor of Portland, Oregon, in putting down the nightly riots that had ravaged his city for more than 90 days. Given this choice between ending the systematic violence and arson that was wreaking havoc throughout his city and publicly signaling his virtue, Mayor Ted Wheeler chose the latter. While the residents of Portland hid in their homes to avoid the violence, he responded to Trump’s offer with a sanctimonious letter that included this delusional passage: “No thanks. We don’t need your politics of division and demagoguery.” A week later, Portland police declared a riot and arrested 59 people.

The risk of contracting COVID-19 indoors is the same when socially distanced 6 feet apart and 60 feet apart, researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) say. The study, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America earlier this month, argues that there isn’t much benefit to distancing 6 feet apart. Ideas about coronavirus transmission have changed since the beginning of the pandemic. At the start of the global outbreak, scientists and medical professional believed that hand-washing after touching surfaces was the leading cause of transmission. Experts now say the virus is transmitted through droplets released when people talk, sneeze and cough.
Why Chauvin Verdict
Disappointed Democrats

Tuesday afternoon the Democrats and the Left at large got exactly what they said they wanted from the trial of Derek Chauvin. The jury found him guilty of all three counts — second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter — with which he had been charged in the death of George Floyd. Yet prominent Democrats who commented on the verdict seemed slightly bewildered and disappointed. Their collective response was captured in this statement from Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison: “I would not call today’s verdict justice, because justice implies restoration.” This is an odd assertion coming from the man who orchestrated Chauvin’s prosecution and secured an unequivocal conviction.

Left-wing magazine Slate took the stunning and brave step Saturday of publishing an article outlining the case for no longer wearing masks outside. ‘As we’ve come to know more about the virus, as vaccinations are ramping up, and as we’re trying to figure out how to live with some level of COVID in a sustainable way, masking up outside when you’re at most briefly crossing paths with people is starting to feel barely understandable,’ the author reasoned. Mask enthusiasts melted down in response, insisting that Slate‘s article was ‘irresponsible‘, ‘going to get people killed‘ and ‘misleading‘. Others celebrated the article as ‘a good sign of progress‘. A Harvard infectious disease specialist asserted,

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff may have been a source for media reports last year that hyped intelligence about how the Russian government had offered bounties to Afghan militants to kill U.S. troops, according to a Republican lawmaker. Sen. Tom Cotton told Lisa Boothe on her podcast, The Truth with Lisa Boothe, that the leaks were "probably as likely" to have come from Democrats in Congress as the U.S. intelligence community and specifically name-dropped Schiff, a California Democrat. The Arkansas Republican was reacting to the White House saying last week the U.S. intelligence community had only “low to moderate confidence” in intelligence

Our streets are now so unsafe that it might be helpful to rewatch Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry films. They can remind us of an earlier period in the 1960s and 1970s when crime was widespread, liberal judges were putting criminals back on the streets and the entire justice system was anti-cop and pro-criminal.In the middle of a wave of violence that left everyday Americans feeling both threatened and vulnerable, along came a series of movies that captured the desire for law and order. The first and most famous of these was 1971's Dirty Harry, starring Eastwood as Inspector Harry Callahan of San Francisco.

The law has spoken. On Tuesday, a jury found former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin guilty on counts of second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and the second-degree manslaughter of George Floyd. After weeks of lawmakers and commentators chiming in and expressing a desire for Chauvin to be convicted, this wish has finally been granted, barring a retrial. Yet the jury’s decision will not be enough for the left. It never was meant to be. To Democrats, Chauvin represents a systemic racism woven into the fabric of the United States — white supremacy that can only be quelled by restructuring the entire American system.

Recent events have rendered it all too obvious that the politicians and bureaucrats charged with overseeing the nation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic are determined to use it as a pretext to restrict our civil liberties indefinitely. They refuse to provide coherent answers to simple questions about their plan for returning the country to normal and insist that Americans adhere to mitigation strategies that have been shown to be ineffective in practice and inconsistent with basic science, while colluding with news outlets and social media platforms to censor respected scientists and physicians whose research conflicts with the pseudoscientific nonsense that constitutes the administration’s pandemic policy.

Over the past year of COVID, there’s been a recurring news narrative of “experts surprised their predictions were off the mark.” It’s happened on almost every major policy issue – from masks to lockdowns to surface cleaning – and the margins of error are often vast. The CDC or some government body told us with certainty that something was true concerning COVID, and we had to obey. But then the data comes out, and the people yelling about “the science” were totally wrong… Yet somehow we’re supposed to ignore the abysmal track record of these experts and listen to whatever their next proclamation of “the science!” may be,

The Democratic party is dying. That may be hard to believe since Democrats control both houses of Congress and won the last presidential election with a record 81 million votes. But the exiguous margins of their hold on the House and Senate, with fewer than 51 percent of the seats in either chamber, tell another story, as does the desperation of their struggle to abolish the filibuster and federalize election law. Those policy aims are of a piece with dreams of packing the Supreme Court — and packing the Senate too, by admitting tiny Democratic bastions as new states. The left wing of the party even assails the constitutional principle

Wind and solar energy are both essentially obsolete technologies. There is a reason why only the very rich or the very adventurous sail across oceans: the wind is unreliable, and at best produces relatively little energy. Nevertheless, liberals have concocted fantasies whereby all of our electricity, or perhaps our entire economy, will be powered by those fickle sources. There are a number of reasons why this will never happen, but a paper published last week by Center of the American Experiment argues that land use constraints are the most basic reason why wind and solar are inexorably destined to fail. The paper, titled Not In Our Backyard, is authored by

A journalist and CNN analyst on Friday advanced the controversial claim that an Ohio police officer responding to a knife-wielding teenager should have shot her "in the leg" and should have considered not even using his gun to address the situation. April Ryan, a reporter with theGrio, made the argument—a common one among police critics—on Friday’s edition of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher. The show’s panel was discussing in part the recent police-involved shooting of 16-year-old Ohio resident Ma’Khia Bryant, who was attempting to stab several other teenagers with a large butcher knife when a responding officer shot and killed her.

In that regard, she’s just another leftist politician. What’s bizarre about Kamala is her inappropriate laughter about things that ought to inspire solemnity. What makes laughter inappropriate? It’s inappropriate when you’re speaking to a crowd and you’re the only one who laughs. Of course, that can also happen to a bad comedian, but there’s no indication in the clip below that Kamala was trying to tell a joke.
