Clint Eastwood, We Need You

Our streets are now so unsafe that it might be helpful to rewatch Clint Eastwood's Dirty Harry films. They can remind us of an earlier period in the 1960s and 1970s when crime was widespread, liberal judges were putting criminals back on the streets and the entire justice system was anti-cop and pro-criminal.In the middle of a wave of violence that left everyday Americans feeling both threatened and vulnerable, along came a series of movies that captured the desire for law and order. The first and most famous of these was 1971's Dirty Harry, starring Eastwood as Inspector Harry Callahan of San Francisco.

Paul Kersey is what happens when you don't let the cops do their job. ( Charles Bronson's character in Death Wish movies.)

#1 is correct. Harry Callahan would be in prison. Our ridiculous "criminal justice" system is broken beyond repair. We're definitely approaching Paul Kersey territory now.

Murders in many large cities up 50-74%, shootings up similar numbers. Carjackings, armed robberies up the same or more. THIS is what happens when a small racial minority is told repeatedly that they are "oppressed" and police are punished doing what is necessary to stop violent crime. An officer in Minneapolis was just convicted of murder when the facts say that the person he "murdered" died of a drug overdose and heart attack. And the officer followed his training in a restraint position which provably did not lower the dead man's blood oxygen level, yet the lying media convinced most Americans that the officer killed the dead man by preventing him from breathing. Blood oxygen level at 98%, and yet the jury says the officer strangled the man. Facts no longer have meaning. Violent black criminals are supported by the Enemedia because of the media's anti-white racism. And a violent black criminal class thinks that hair-trigger, extreme violence is the legitimate response to every situation. Or no situation at all....just being white causes many to be attacked and injured or killed for no reason other than their skin color. And the media continues to pour out propaganda that the problem is white police, when the actual problem is black criminals. Be prepared to protect yourself and your loved ones. The police are being punished for protecting you, and I can't see how they will continue much longer to even try.

I remember going to the theater to watch Death Wish in Southern California. It’s the only movie I’ve seen where there was spontaneous applause by the audience every time another band of thugs was whacked. I sure was glad then that I didn’t live in that crap hole of a city, New York. Now California is just as bad. It’s going to take a super response by civil people to end this reign of terror. We must first overcome the massive media that supports this terror.

I recently watched "Sudden Impact" on HBO Max just to see how far society has regressed since 1983. Near the beginning Harry famously guns down an entire gang of black thugs who are robbing a diner. When he finally draws down on the last survivor with his S&W he issues the famous Reagan line, "Go ahead punk, make my day". Harry's partner is a black SF detective named Horace who has his throat cut by the crazed white leader of the psycho rapists that attacked Sandra Locke's character. Before he slits his throat he brandishes his knife and calls the detective "Sambo". Aside from the morally ambiguous ending where Harry lets Sandra Locke go even though he knows she was killing her rapists I doubt this movie would ever be made today. I will be surprised if it is not eventually cancelled as racist along with some of the other Eastwood and Bronson vigilante movies of the past.

Maybe in this mean age we've edged across the line between entertainment and cold necessity, when what some have called revenge porn becomes unacceptable as entertainment because various soft-minded virtue signalers are mortally offended, thinking it too suggestive. They don't like the idea of you having to shoot certain attackers; they lose prospective voters that way. No, they want you to wait for the increasingly rare cops to respond to the attack on you. What happens when a home invasion happens at your house? What would you do? Call 911? The fellow in this video called 911, and it still came down to the homeowner having to defend his life in the dark at 0230 against a shadowy figure who just broke a window out. and is coming into your bedroom. (The gunfire comes at 3:58.) Very spooky, especially the agonal breathing which--you know when you hear them--are one of the two mens' last breaths: "Ahhhhh ... ahhhhh ...ahhhhh." Tragic if it's you or a family member, deeply satisfying if it's the home invader who had his criminal spree cut short. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k25xA4c85F4

White House officials were reportedly “perplexed” at Vice President Kamala Harris’ performance in her first foreign policy trip under the new administration, CNN reported Wednesday. Harris returned from her trip to Guatemala and Mexico on Wednesday. The trip was intended to address the “root causes” of illegal immigration, but the tour ultimately drew criticism from both sides of the aisle in Washington. NBC News also released an interview with Harris in the middle of her trip in which she fumbled an answer

In the past several months, multiple state legislatures have made moves to ban critical race theory — the latest hot-button issue in contemporary American politics — from their public schools. Activists have opined that critical race theory is either the cure for racial injustice in America or the most dangerous force threatening our democracy. Plenty of writers have explained the main tenets of the theory, some in great detail. But where did it come from? How did an obscure academic theory come to dominate the national political conversation in only a few years? The answer to these questions lies in the origins of the theory. Critical race theory emerged

Maybe Bill Clinton was right about President Obama. After all, Arkansas Bubba was America’s “first black president.” Back in 2008 when Hillary Clinton was scheduled to be America’s Next President (The first time. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!), Bill Clinton became enraged after his Black voters down in South Carolina decided that they could, in fact, vote for themselves. After initial wariness about a half-African with a Muslim name, Black voters fell for Mr. Obama. Hard. Mr. Clinton’s bulbous nose turned bloody red with rage. The young upstart challenging his wife for the Democratic nomination, he insisted, was nothing more than just another Black race-hustler from Chicago.

An interracial couple from Chicago has condemned the controversial critical race theory movement — arguing that it “hurts” the black community by victimizing people of color. “When I hear the ideas of critical race theory, they don’t remind me of my experience here in Chicago at all,” Takyrica Kokoszka, a black woman and Chicago public school teacher, told Fox News. Kokoszka and her white husband, Martin, live in the toney, liberal Illinois suburb, Oak Park, with their biracial children.

President Joe Biden flies across the pond Wednesday to meet European leaders. He says the goal is to “deliver real results” on critical issues such as climate change and cybersecurity. Yet the president is ducking the most important issue: the cause of the pandemic. Biden should be marshaling allies to act in unison, squeezing China to get answers — and reparations. Because evidence is mounting that the Beijing regime is guilty of manslaughter. A column in The Wall Street Journal over the weekend persuasively argued that the coronavirus’ genetic sequence contains a sequence highly unlikely to come about naturally.

A lot of Republicans breathed a sigh of relief when Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) reiterated his support for the filibuster and pledged to vote against the For the People Act (S 1). His decision, which he explained in a Sunday op-ed written for the Charleston Gazette-Mail, is certainly good news. But, before celebrating the death of the pernicious “voting rights” bill, it would be useful to read paragraph 12 of Manchin’s column, wherein he declares his support for the equally dangerous John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (S 4263). This bill, like S 1, would effectively gut voter-ID laws and usurp state sovereignty over elections.

A specter is haunting America, a great revolt that threatens to dwarf the noxious rebellion led by Trump. The echoes of a another potentially larger pushback can already be heard in progressive America. But it's not towards socialism, as many suggest. It's the opposite: a new middle-class rebellion against the excesses of the Left. This new middle-class rebellion isn't rejecting everything that progressives stand for; the Left's critique of neo-liberal excess is resonating, as is the need for improved access to health care.

It was hardly surprising when President Biden used his speech on the 100th anniversary of the Tulsa Massacre to exacerbate racial tensions by shamelessly revising the history of black progress during the past century. Such demagoguery has long been a standard Democratic tactic. It was, however, startling to hear him claim that “Terrorism from white supremacy is the most lethal threat to the homeland today, not Isis, not Al-Qaeda — white supremacists.” If Biden believes this, he is unfit to be the commander in chief. Despite his insistence that this information was provided by the “intelligence community,” a joint report from the FBI and the DHS clearly refutes this claim.

Joe Biden is America’s biggest troll. His speech in Tulsa could not have been more disunifying, dishonest or more designed to inflame. Who is the president’s speechwriter? Goebbels? No, white supremacy is not a threat worse than ISIS. No, Texas’ voter ID bill is not “a truly unprecedented assault on our democracy.” Biden could have given an uplifting speech on Tuesday at a ceremony marking 100 years since the Tulsa Race Massacre. Instead, he wheeled out his now-familiar refrain that democracy is “in peril” from the enemy within.
