President Joe Biden's rescue pup Major will be removed from the White House to undergo additional training after a second biting incident raised more questions about the dog's behavior. The White House argues the three-year-old German Shepherd is still adjusting to his new life at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And, to help him, he'll have a few weeks of training in the Washington D.C. area. 'Major, the Bidens' younger dog, will undergo some additional training to help him adjust to life in the White House,' Michael LaRosa, a spokesperson for first lady Jill Biden, told DailyMail.com. 'The off-site, private training will take place in the Washington, D.C. area,

Were the Park Service employee and the security guard black? If so, that's proof positive that the Bidets are racist, going by the rules of the left.

What else can one expect from an owner who behaves like Biden does? Does the dog sniff their hair before he bites or craps on the carpet.

Well, it does appear that there may be more than one dangerous animal inhabiting the White House...

If I remember correctly, Major was very happy in ''the Basement.'' Wouldn't it be cheaper just to send him back to his familiar surroundings? The WH is a toxic environment, not suitable to the ''elderly.''

I love dogs, but this is too much. Major is not happy where he is. Either train him at the White House or send him home.

I've known about a half dozen German shepherds in my life, and two of them who were police dogs and they were as friendly as could be. My brother in law was a Delaware state trooper who had two German shepherds who when given a certain command, would probably rip your arm off. But at home they were as friendly as could be. They would come up to me wagging their tails happy to see me and would hardly leave me alone. They wanted my attention. Max was a shepherd that loved kids and had a habit of pulling bird feeders out of the ground then running around with the pole. He also loved to chase balls, and would bring them back. He would even wait outside of school for us to come out. We never knew who owned Max, or even if that was his name, but he was a great dog. My first dog was a German shepherd Husky mix. Jerry would walk us to the bus stop, and come home after the bus picked us up. Then he would come running to greet us when got off of the bus at the end of the day. Their must be something wrong with Major or the owners. Maybe he's not getting enough attention, so he bites people to get that attention.

And when the dog, shepherd or pit bull chews the face off a 3 year old or a granny everybody exclaims he was such a nice dog. If it attacks people shoot the dam thing.

Good dog! Major appears to be one of the very few animals in DC who knows what to do with Democrats. You bite 'em. Republicans take note.

We've had several German Shepherds and have never, ever had this kind of trouble. But then, we haven't moved into an enormous mansion with hundreds of people scurrying around and voices, some raised, often more than one at time. It would be unsettling for most sentient creatures, especially very intelligent senior Shepherds.
If Major is suffering from degenerative myelopathy, for example, this could explain his failure to get outside in time to do his duties there. And i can tell you that he is NOT happy about it. Dogs do not like to soil where they live.
So, First, Major is a senior dog who is most likely losing his eyesight and hearing, making him possibly hyper-alert and super sensitive to every sound and movement.
Second, he is in a new place with lots of noises and unfamiliar voices, people moving about fast and abruptly, and also maybe unpleasant odors of people with bad intentions. Okay, the last is just wild speculation.
This is cruel to Major. And it's possible that Champ is worried about his elder. I noticed when they were on the front lawn of the White House that Champ always made sure he came to Major's side. I think he was watching over his weaker companion. If so, Major may pick up on this and feel even more anxious.
Keep Champ and Major together. Build a nice fenced area where MObabba once had her vegetable garden, have at least half of it covered to protect from the sun and elements, and make the fence high enough so Champ can't scale it. Major is not physically able to do much of anything, while a young Shepherd could jump over a 6 footer if provoked. Have only a trained handler work with and care for the dogs, especially Major. Imperative to alleviate the stress. In the warmer months the dogs will need air conditioning inside.
In short: don't stress out the dogs!
Surely they have some skilled handlers around who know how to handle pets as opposed to trained security dogs?

re #10 - Every time there is an article about this dog or any dog, you go off the deep end with wanting to shoot the animal. Is animal abuse how you keep busy?

Simple. My dad use to say you have to be smarter than the dog in order to train him.
Thus the results we see.

#13, Major is the younger dog. He was also a shelter dog. I have had many shelter dogs, and they have been wonderful, but you rarely, if ever, know their backstory. Major could have been mistreated by someone, and is triggered by certain individuals. He does need to go home. He needs less stress in his life. He probably should take his elderly master with him. Just for comfort, you know.

Could Plugs become the first President to be removed from office because of his dog?
Maybe the dang pooch is only expressing its displeasure at not being given a name with a higher rank.
