Several Florida Democrats are challenging a report by the CBS News program “60 Minutes” that attempted to paint the state’s vaccination partnership with the Publix grocery store chain as nefarious.
The program on April 4 explored the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Florida, which has experienced a similar COVID-19 death rate to California and other states despite having much looser restrictions.
In one heated exchange, a reporter pressed Gov. Ron DeSantis on the use of Publix stores to administer vaccines, claiming the fact that Publix contributed $100,000 to his political action committee before the chain was chosen could be seen as evidence of a “pay-for-play” scheme.

A reader asked me a few questions about Chairman Xiden's $2 trillion infrastructure plan, which I gladly answered and will share with readers.
But first let us look at how the mainstream press views this.
CNBC reported, "President Biden unveiled a more than $2 trillion infrastructure and economic recovery package on Wednesday."
Well that's a lot of money. We are increasing federal spending by another 50%. Whee.(Snip) So we are borrowing $2 trillion so we can spend $621 billion on transportation plus another $300 improving public utilities.
That's 45%.

TAIPEI, Taiwan—The Chinese communist regime is accelerating its plans to invade Taiwan, an expert warns, as Beijing ratchets up military maneuvers against the island.
Twenty Chinese military aircraft—including four nuclear-capable H-6K bombers, 10 J-16 fighter jets, two Y-8 anti-submarine warfare aircraft, and a KJ-500 airborne early warning and control aircraft—entered Taiwan’s air defense identification zone (ADIZ) on March 26, according to Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense. It was the largest incursion ever reported by the ministry.(Snip)Beijing’s incursions are part of a series of dry runs in preparation for an invasion of Taiwan, John Mills, the former director of cybersecurity policy, strategy, and international affairs at the Office of

In modern America, we periodically offer up white men as human sacrifices to the PC gods. Among our benefactions: Jake Gardner, Kyle Rittenhouse, Darren Wilson, the Duke lacrosse players, University of Virginia fraternity members, Stacey Koon and Mark Fuhrman.
The rest of us just keep our heads down and pray we won’t be next.
At least the Duke and UVA human offerings were sufficiently upper-crust to have a few journalists and lawyers defending them. But policemen, bar owners, military veterans and a Midwest teenager? Definitely not our crowd, darling.
Currently, Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is on trial for killing George Floyd by kneeling on his neck,(Snip) It’s why America had to burn

The French Enlightenment philosopher known to us as Voltaire once said, “Whoever can make you accept absurdity can make you commit injustice.” This was in response to the persecution and execution of Jean Calas, the last man in France to be broken on the wheel. Calas was a Protestant living in a Catholic society, so critics of the Church used his case much in the same way moderns are using George Floyd.
Voltaire, like most men of the Enlightenment, had a simplistic understanding of human society. Through insouciance and critical humor, liberal thinkers dismantled the framework of society without regard to what would replace it. In the process, the modern fanatic

CBS plans to keep its broadcasting rights to the Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia despite its recent activism against the Peach State’s new election reforms.
In an article published on Friday, CBS joined civil rights groups, President Joe Biden, and other activists in urging companies such as Delta, Major League Baseball, UPS, and others to boycott the state and shame Republican lawmakers for passing a law which many of them claimed is a”racist” GOP strategy to suppress voters.
CBS originally headlined the story “3 ways companies can help fight Georgia’s restrictive new voting law” but quietly changed the title to “activists are calling on big companies to challenge new voting laws.

On Wednesday's edition of Tucker, mein host noted that the likes of Justin Trudeau and John Kerry are now speaking openly about "the Great Reset". That phrase has traveled a long way in a little over six months. Conversely, most of the citizens on the receiving end of it have traveled very little. Here's what I had to say when it was first floated back last summer:
One of the themes of our summer audio entertainment The Prisoner of Windsor is that most of the chaps who matter in this world are people you've never heard of - by which I mean they are other than the omnipresent pygmies of the

It is critical that people understand the landscape. Underline it. Study it. Research the issues and teach everyone about it.

Informed consent isn’t possible when the opinions of renowned experts are being censored by those who control which voiced we get to hear.

Boring politicians are brought down in boring ways. But for spectacular politicians, only spectacular attacks will do. And Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz is nothing if not spectacular. On Tuesday, The New York Times reported that Gaetz is under investigation for a possible sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl. To make the claims even spicier, the Times threw in words like “human trafficking.”
Representative Matt Gaetz, Republican of Florida and a close ally of former President Donald J. Trump, is being investigated by the Justice Department over whether he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old and paid for her to travel with him, according to three people briefed on the matter.

In his first White House press conference last month, Joe Biden needed a cheat sheet and marked photos of approved reporters. The Delaware Democrat thus invites a comparison to Franklin Delano Roosevelt who, many Americans still believe, was fully able-bodied and a tower of strength during World War II. Hugh Gregory Gallagher challenged that perception in FDR’s Splendid Deception, which carried the subtitle, “The moving story of Roosevelt’s massive disability—and the intense efforts to conceal it from the public.”
In 1920, FDR was the Democratic candidate for vice president under James Cox. The next year, he suffered an attack of polio,(Snip) “anxious that the press should not know how
