Biden will not throw first pitch
at Nationals opening day

President Biden will not throw the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday’s opening day at Nationals Park, a team spokesperson confirmed. “We look forward to welcoming President Biden to Nationals Park in the future,” a team spokesperson told The Washington Post, which first reported the news. A reason for why Biden will not throw the first pitch wasn’t provided. A team spokesperson told the Washington Times a decision on who will throw Thursday’s first pitch will be released at a later time. The tradition of presidents throwing out the first pitch began with President William Howard Taft in 1910, appearing at opening day for the Washington Senators

It must be saddening considering that Joe bought a football for the special occasion and "misplaced" his receipt. The many vipers on his staff are surrounding him and keeping as many as possible at bay.

Posts are all funny, but just think, this man is the leader of the free world and president of this country. This is sickeningly wrong and frightening. He belongs under a doctors care, and I do not mean the social climbing, pathetic “Dr.” Jill. They can’t medicate him 24/7 for these little public outings, hence they will become fewer and further between until we will not expect to see him much at all, and it will become the norm.

Isn't Kamala Harris supposed to throw out the first pitch if the President is incapacitated? I thought that was included in the 25th Amendment. It would be interesting to go down the line of Presidential succession to determine who in this Democrat administration had actually grown up playing baseball and could do it without embarrassing themselves. I imagine some of them would be better as catching than at pitching.

#13, you are entirely correct. The leader of the free world is a feeble senile old man who can't walk up 20 steps without falling 3 times or break an ankle petting his dog. More importantly he can't get through a rigged press conference of all friendly reporters "asking" pre-provided questions Biden had to study and had notes for and finally just read (poorly) off his notes. But he never was the leader anyway. The whole planet knows he's not really president; he's PINO. The big question is who really is running the show? I suspect Obama since most of the staff are former Obama villains. The big question is what happens when Biden finally just collapses sometime in the next few months and is simply incapable of speech? Does Harris actually become President or is she PINO, too? Remember she dropped out of the race after maxing out at 2% of Dem voters during the primary. Not even her own natural constituency likes her. No one likes her. And if you listen to what she says in unplanned remarks, she's actually pretty dumb. I have decided that since there is nothing I can really do about it, I might as well enjoy the memes and not stress too much about it while I research other countries to move to that no one cares about where I'll be left alone.

Speaking of his needing to be under a Doc's care, where is his annual physical report? in the same detail as Dems - i mean the media-- demanded of Donald Trump? Doc, some questions: is Mr. Biden's mental decline typical for a man of his old age? is he losing dexterity and knowing where his hands and feet are in relation to his head? how many hours a day is he able to work... before his cognitive abilities completely fade out? if Mr. Biden were to try to throw out the first pitch, is he likely to lose his balance, suffer vertigo, and fall down? We know that for now, Biden is serving his purpose for the Left. And part of that is his role as grandfatherly wizened old hair sniffer, when he leans forwards, lowers his voice, squints and half whispers his compassionate concern. That is NOT his normal political voice. Hannity has played Biden tapes from a few short years ago, his demeanor and vocal intonations are radically different. Is it real, or is it an act? My suspicion is that the half-whispered call to America, "I need your help to work together... to do big things... We're going to beat this thing together. I'm working as hard as I can to speed up vaccines.." etc etc He used this half-whisper intensity during the campaign and he appealed to all the scared and the especially and reasonably frightened elderly whom big city blue State guvs were dispatching to their final resting place, the virus-saturated nursing homes. Ha ha We thought BO was the great bamboozler.

Xiden won't throw out the first pitch because if he did, the ball, including time in the air plus bounces and rollout, wouldn't reach home plate. With such ventures into lucidity as "...You, if you hold near and dear that you, uh, um, like to be able to uh ... anyway..." His sentences fizzle out. So would the pitch. And yes, the Bronx cheers and the "dozens" would be ear numbing loud.

He had a nice trip. President Joe Biden stumbled for a moment on the stairs of Air Force One Wednesday—but ultimately had a smoother climb than when he fell repeatedly while boarding the plane earlier this month. Footage shows the coordination-challenged commander-in-chief carefully traversing the stairs before apparently nearly missing a step while leaving on a flight to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 78-year-old president made the ascent while headed off to promote his $2 trillion infrastructure plan. On March 19, Biden raised eyebrows when he tripped twice and then fell over as he tried to jog up the stairs

Washington—Doggie doo in the White House? One of President Joe Biden’s dogs apparently deposited the pile of poo in the hallway outside the Diplomatic Reception Room, just off the South Lawn, on Wednesday. Reporters accompanying Jill Biden on a trip to California spotted the brown stuff on the red-carpeted hallway as they waited just inside the mansion to be escorted to the first lady’s motorcade. It was unclear which pooch—Major or Champ—dropped the poo. Earlier this week, Major, the younger dog, was involved in his second biting incident in March. The CEO of Georgia-based Delta Air Lines said Wednesday that the state’s new election law overhaul is “unacceptable” and “based on a lie,” after the company faced criticism that it didn’t speak out forcefully enough in opposition to the bill when it was being considered by the state’s Republican leaders. CEO Ed Bastian offered his assessment of the new Georgia law in a memo sent to employees less than a week after Delta officials joined other corporate lobbyists to shape the final version of a sweeping measure that could make it harder for some Georgia citizens to cast ballots.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is condemning the use of the term "surge" when discussing the ongoing border crisis at the southern border. "They wanna say, 'But what about the surge?'" Ocasio-Cortez said on Tuesday night during an Instagram Live session. "Well, first of all, just gut check, stop. Anyone who's using the term 'surge' around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame." "And that's a problem because this is not a surge, these are children and they are not insurgents and we are not being invaded, which by the way is a White supremacist idea-philosophy

Russian forces massing on the border with Ukraine have prompted the U.S. European Command to raise its watch level to its highest point of “potential imminent crisis”, according to a New York Times report Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley spoke to senior Russian Gen. Valery Gerasimov about the buildup, according to Russia. Four Ukrainian soldiers were killed last week in an extended battle in the contested Donetsk Region against Russia-backed separatists. Not an April fool’s joke, but it might as well be. Two media reports [Here and Here] about former VP Mike Pence considering a potential run for President in 2024 present the most laughable political hypothetical in recent memory. Particularly, and specifically, because even President Trump would likely not include Pence in a short list of people for endorsement.“WASHINGTON (AP) — Former President Donald Trump recently rattled off the names of those he viewed as future leaders of the Republican Party, including Sens. Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz along with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Conspicuously absent from the list: Mike Pence.
