In a wildly hyperbolic segment about Georgia’s new voter laws, an MSNBC guest claimed that Republicans would have barred Jesus from being given a cup of water while he was dying on the cross. The shocking and vile claim came from Vanderbilt University professor and former MSNBC political analyst Michael Eric Dyson on Friday’s episode of Joy Reid’s The ReidOut.In the lead up to the statement, Reid asked Dyson about his recent meeting with President Joe Biden, and if he’s planning to push the senate to get rid of the filibuster
May God smite all these lefty liars!!!

Meanwhile, the Democrats would have beaten the soldier who offered him watered wine as they diced for his garments. After all, wasn't Jesus a "divisive" character? He said he would tear down the Temple, and rebuild it in three days! Who does he think he is?
Just the one, who came to save All of us...

The Dems would have been the ones screaming "Crucify Him".
They hate Jesus, God, Christianity and Judaism.

So according to this person, standing in line outside in Georgia, in November no less, is equivalent to the crucifixion of Jesus. Leftists are truly loathsome.

We all would have denied him a drink of water! He was beaten and spit on by the crowd. HE CAME TO DIE THE MOST VILE DEATH EVER so that all of our sins might be forgiven! The Creator Of The Universe came to earth as a 100% man and 100% God! Nobody alive today would have gone to his aid! They didn’t do it then after they watched Him heal the Leper, The Blind and raising people from the dead! Yet the crowd stood around and mocked a him and threw insults at Him!
Her comment was ignorant, stupid and vile!

Yeah, but it would have been the Democrats that sentenced Jesus to death by crucifixion, and enjoyed every minute of it.

#20,#21~ Joy Reid did not make that comment. It was made by Michael Eric Dyson, Vanderbilt University Divinity School professor and former MSNBC political analyst. He became an ordained Baptist minister when he was 19 years old.

Interesting #24. I don’t understand “Christians” who are comfortable judging and condemning millions of church-going people as being wicked.

#26~ Indeed, devout people of faith do not understand judgment and condemnation by “Christians” and, most especially, by members of the clergy because clergy’s “pronouncements” seem to equate with being judgmental and Scripture is clear, “Judge not...” (Matthew 7:1) Regarding members of the clergy, Jesus condemned the hypocrisy of the Pharisees. (Matthew 23:1-12)

Using the Lord's name in vain earns one some serious, yea very serious punishment from God the Father. Yes, it's considered as such when using the Lord as a weapon to attack one's opponent, especially something as sacred to God the Father as the sacrifice of His Son on the cross. Woe be upon that person

This fool doesn't know that Jesus WAS denied a drink of water - he was given vinegar instead - nor does he have the slightest idea of what he died for.
