North Vancouver, Canada—One person is dead and multiple others were wounded in a stabbing at a public library in an affluent Vancouver suburb on Saturday, and a suspect, who apparently acted alone, was taken into custody. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said "multiple victims" were stabbed inside and outside the North Vancouver Library and that one suspect was in custody. It "appears this was a lone suspect," the RCMP said on Twitter, adding that it was still looking for "potential additional victims." Amy Robertson of B.C. Emergency Health Services said six people were taken to the hospital and that she was unable to release

Comments:

Another day, another stabbing, this one including a woman and a 7-year-old boy. CBC says the knife was very large, no ordinary knife, and the attacker was in his 60s. The stabber, as often happens, was also known to the police.

#1, sorry but that isn't enough. Not only do knives have to be banned but knife manufacturers must be prosecuted for these murders as accessories. In fact, just to be sure, anyone who has ever touch a knife should go to jail. Because reasons.

#10, that’s because the subjects of the UK are not allowed to own guns. My guess is that this is another attack by a member of the ROP. They seem to be particularly fond of knives. And the lack of any information about the suspect is a red flag - he’s either black or Muslim.

Still no ID on the stabber. He appears to be Of Color, maybe even a Trudeau diversity import, who randomly attacked white people. https://heavy.com/news/vancouver-stabbing-library-suspect-video/

Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser was ripped on Sunday for posting a tone deaf tweet about auto theft prevention just days after the deadly carjacking of an Uber Eats driver. Follow these steps to reduce the risk of your vehicle becoming a target. Remember the motto, #ProtectYourAuto,” Bowser wrote on Twitter on Sunday. Anwar, 66, died when he was flung from the car

The University of Oxford is considering scrapping sheet music for being 'too colonial' after staff raised concerns about the 'complicity in white supremacy' in music curriculums. Professors are set to reform their music courses to move away from the classic repertoire, which includes the likes of Beethoven and Mozart, in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement. University staff have argued that the current curriculum focuses on 'white European music from the slave period', according to The Telegraph.(Snip) It claimed that teaching musical notation had 'not shaken off its connection to its colonial past' and would be 'a slap in the face' to some students.
