Democrats’ Infrastructure Proposal Unfocused,
Possibly Superfluous: Expert

Original Article

Infrastructure spending is usually a popular proposal. Between potholes down the street and reports of crumbling bridges, Americans tend to agree that America’s infrastructure needs work. An infrastructure spending bill floated by Democrats, however, is shaping up to be something else entirely—maybe even superfluous, according to an infrastructure policy expert. Major federal infrastructure spending was originally justified as a national defense issue. The interstate system was to secure expedient troop movement, for instance. But those days are long gone. Today’s bipartisan support for such spending stems from political expediency. (Snip) They present infrastructure bills as a way to boost the economy and create jobs.

Comments:

And this one gets tied, for reasons that make no sense, to the Covid-19 pandemic which is rapidly fading.

The only project proposal the Democrats ever have is a slush fund mostly for Democrat elites, and crumbs to payoff the idiots that follow them.

This "Infrastructure" Spending Bill will have about as much to do with building/repairing infrastructure as the Covid bill had to do with Covid relief. 10 % Infrastructure, 90% Social Engineering. It will really just be a big Social Engineering. Social Justice, EQUITY bill. Minorities and Democrats only need apply. We can look forward to public housing, bike paths to nowhere, housing grants, and all other kinds of give aways to buy votes and keep the love and dependence of the government dependent masses. Of course, the money will flow to heavily Democrat Red states with a strong Union presence. Blue States or states with Right to Work may find themselves on the short end of the stick unless they happen to have a large city with a heavy Democrat presence. THis will be yet another big government spending fiasco where TONS and TONS of money is spend and when it is gone everyone wonders where it all went as nothing (infrastructure wise) has changed except for the social systems of the nation.

I am more than sure that the democrat party intends this new spending to modeled after the 1.9T bill. IOW a small portion will be used to build a bridge here and there and the rest will get lost in underfunded union pension funds. Call it "Blue State Bailout 2.0".

Just because Barrack O'Biden is the person in the WH does not mean he can spend us into oblivion. Republicans, quit fighting among yourselves and FIGHT for your Country!!!

A leading Chinese professor—who is also an adviser to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)—laid out a comprehensive plan for the communist regime to overthrow the United States as the world’s superpower. The professor’s multi-pronged strategy involves a range of malign actions to subvert the United States while strengthening the Chinese regime. They include: interfering in U.S. elections, controlling the American market, cultivating global enemies to challenge the United States, stealing American technology, expanding Chinese territory, and influencing international organizations. The plan was explained in detail by Jin Canrong, a professor and associate dean of the School of International Studies at Beijing’s Renmin University of China, in a July 2016 speech

In a fresh twist on the Biden administration’s decision to house illegal immigrants at hotel facilities, crunching the numbers on the $86.9 million that is set to be spent on 1,239 beds shows that the cost to U.S. taxpayers will be nearly $72,000 per border-crosser housed. “That works out to $71,666.67 per migrant, paid by your tax dollars, meaning that you are now a co-conspirator to one of the largest smuggling schemes in history,” wrote Andrew Arthur, a fellow with the Center for Immigration Studies, a conservative policy research nonprofit. Officials at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed to The Epoch Times that the Biden

During the first court appearance for the suspect, Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa, prosecutors also vowed to file more charges in the next two weeks and said the police were still processing the vast crime scene at the King Soopers grocery store. Mr. Alissa will continue to be held in jail without bond. Kathryn Herold, a public defender (Snip) raised the possibility that he had a mental illness when she asked the judge to postpone

The Government Accountability Office has reportedly launched an inquiry into whether Joe Biden broke the law when he halted construction of the border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Biden campaigned on reversing former president Trump’s border security policies, including his pet project, the wall, and he made good on his promise as soon as he entered office. It turns out, Biden may not have been legally permitted to end the construction because the funding for the project had already been approved. Charles Young, public affairs officer for the GAO, confirmed the investigation on Tuesday, as more and more border Democrats spoke out against Biden’s disastrous immigration policies.

If you needed a reminder that the swamp is alive and well, look no further than the recent vote by the House Republican Conference to bring pork-barrel spending back to Congress. Egged on, no doubt, by the special interests that fund their campaigns, 102 Republicans—who identify as conservatives when campaigning—just decided to undo one of the biggest accomplishments of the Tea Party era. Now, Senate Republicans are similarly considering a proposal to follow suit. If this isn’t a sign that Congressional Republicans need new leadership in Washington, I don’t know what is.
