Johnson says, with landlords to decide

Boris Johnson has suggested that some pubs might require customers to produce vaccine certificates, an idea that he had previously deemed unlikely. Almost 29 million people have received their first vaccine dose in Britain already in the fastest rollout in Europe, and there have been calls to open up the economy faster because of the success of the vaccination programme. Appearing before a committee of senior lawmakers, Johnson said the 'basic concept of a vaccine certification should not be totally alien to us', citing how surgeons were required to have a Hepatitis B shot. Asked whether ordinary citizens going to the pub might need one,

Comments:

How else are they going to sell more vaccines? I mean, flatten the curve, while still importing mystery Newcomers? Nice photo of Lesser Britain at the end of the article; shirtless slob with a gut walks the empty streets past graffiti-laden buildings and a Gay Pride crosswalk, no doubt with halal grocery stores just out of view.

Yes #4. Even my husband’s Yorkshire family say it to us on the telephone - they are too scared to tell us anything online or on email. They are in James Herriott country and their rural villages are no longer the same. Tourist business is down but the press lies about that too.

England is worse than us. It will get much worse after Charles is king. He likes and admires muslims. That is why the mayor of London is a mozzie. I lost all faith and admiration when they allowed the blowup doll of Trump to fly. Trump was also treated with no respect when he visited England.

Yes #6 and if you think William is any less a virtue-signalling lefty than his father, think again. You are right about President and Mrs. Trump being treated coldly on both trips. The Cambridges famously slobbered all over the Obamas yet made themselves scarce on purpose when Trump was there. Its so over once the Queen is gone.

The formerly "great" Britain is now a shell of what they once were. When they leaned over and "took one" from all the muslim terrorists they allowed to invade their country without a shot being fired, it was over then. Hitler is looking up from Hell and knowing he just came along a few decades too early. This Britain would have just rolled over and let the Nazis walk right in!!!

Hopefully in America free enterprise will reign. This grocery store or bar or gym says no masks required. That grocery store or bar or gym insists on masks forever. We will all choose where we want to do business. This church service is for the fearful and you must mask up to come in. That church service is mask free and everyone is shaking hands. We will all choose where we want to go to church. This hair salon is mask free. That hair salon wears shields and makes everyone walk out with wet hair.....

Arkansas Gov. The Republican governor signed SB 354, the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act, shortly after it passed both chambers by wide margins. The bill was delivered to his desk Tuesday. “I have studied the law and heard from hundreds of constituents on this issue,” Mr. Hutchinson said. “I signed the law as a fan of women’s sports from basketball to soccer and including many others in which women compete successfully. Oakland plans to start a guaranteed income program this spring for 600 residents—one of the largest such programs in the country, city officials said—as Bay Area leaders search for solutions to rising poverty and inequality in the wake of the pandemic. Through the pilot program, residents will receive $500 a month for at least 18 months with no strings attached, Mayor Libby Schaaf said at a Tuesday news conference. Checks could be in residents’ hands by this spring or summer. Low-income families—with at least one child under 18—who are Black, indigenous or people of color will be randomly selected

Columbia, S.C.—A South Carolina senator has a proposal to make sure no federal law can ever seize guns—make everyone over 17 who can legally own a gun a member of a militia. South Carolina’s constitution allows the governor to call up an “unorganized militia” of any “able bodied male citizens” between ages 18 and 45. State Sen. Tom Corbin’s proposal would automatically expand membership to everyone who is over 17 and could own a gun. Supporters of the bill said if everyone is a member of a militia, then they all fall under the opening clause of the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution
