The Biden administration and private firms are reportedly developing a ‘vaccine passport’ that will allow Americans to return to pre-pandemic activities like travel and shopping by showing proof they’ve been inoculated against COVID-19. The ‘vaccine passport’ is considered key to meeting the administration’s goal of emerging from the lockdown and returning to a semblance of normalcy this summer. It will in all likelihood be available for free through smartphones. Vaccinated Americans will be able to flash a scannable code while those who do not have phones could print out a code on a piece of paper, according to The Washington Post.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's leading infectious disease expert, has appeared to claim credit for the decision to quickly develop vaccines against COVID-19, in remarks that are sure to anger Donald Trump.
Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, made the comment in an interview with CNN for a special on Sunday, diving into the details of America's pandemic response.(Snip)
Fauci's remarks seemed to gloss over the key role played by pharmaceutical companies and Operation Warp Speed, the Trump administration's program to deliver vaccines to the public in record time. Trump, who has frequently expressed frustration

Scholastic has pulled a popular children’s book written by the author of the “Captain Underpants” series author—for promoting “passive racism.”
The publisher announced that it will no longer distribute Dav Pilkey’s 2010 graphic novel, “The Adventures of Ook and Gluk: Kung-Fu Cavemen from the Future,” saying in a statement released last week that the decision had been made with the “full support” of the children’s book author.(Snip) Pilkey, who is also behind the popular “Dog Man” series, also shared a letter apologizing on YouTube, in which he explained that the book was intended to “showcase diversity, equality, and non-violent conflict resolution.”

Once upon a time, Aaron Kindsvatter relished the scholarly world, which he found to be a fascinating marketplace of ideas with liberal leanings.
Those days are gone. Now, a tenured professor of counselor education at the University of Vermont, he finds himself in a surreal, totalitarian environment. Faculty and administrators want him exiled because he has taken a stand against what he saw as pigeonholing of people according to skin color. “Please stop reducing my personhood to a racial category in your teach-ins,” he asked in the first of three videos he made this month that embroiled him in a campus fury.

Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser was ripped on Sunday for posting a tone deaf tweet about auto theft prevention just days after the deadly carjacking of an Uber Eats driver. Bowser shared a video from DC’s Metro police on “preventing auto thefts” following the death last Tuesday of Mohammad Anwar, who was killed after two two teen girls allegedly stun-gunned and carjacked him. “Auto theft is a crime of opportunity. Follow these steps to reduce the risk of your vehicle becoming a target. Remember the motto, #ProtectYourAuto,” Bowser wrote on Twitter on Sunday. Anwar, 66, died when he was flung from the car

The University of Oxford is considering scrapping sheet music for being 'too colonial' after staff raised concerns about the 'complicity in white supremacy' in music curriculums. Professors are set to reform their music courses to move away from the classic repertoire, which includes the likes of Beethoven and Mozart, in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement.
University staff have argued that the current curriculum focuses on 'white European music from the slave period', according to The Telegraph.(Snip) It claimed that teaching musical notation had 'not shaken off its connection to its colonial past' and would be 'a slap in the face' to some students.

A reputed member of the Cripps’ “Folk Nation” gang, Wilson, 19, had four open gun cases in Queens and Brooklyn when he was busted on his fifth gun possession case Sunday—and quickly sprung by a Brooklyn judge thanks to last year’s bail reform rules. Meet the million-dollar cop. The police chief of tiny, low-crime Southampton Village—pop. 3,307, with 30 sworn officers—makes more than NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea. That would be the top cop of New York City, pop. 8,300,000, with about 36,000 sworn officers. Chief Thomas Cummings was compensated $441,945.82 last year, according to village documents. His annual base pay was $263,829, easily topping Shea’s $239,092. The village is not exactly a hotbed of crime. It has not had a murder since 2008, and last year reported no homicides, rapes, robberies or aggravated assaults. It did have two car thefts, one burglary, and 42 non-violent

Children are almost completely immune from this ridiculous virus, to the point where they're usually exempt from mask mandates, and already they're raising red flags about new strains that might not be susceptible to the actions of the mRNA therapy. A baby cannot consent to anything, but slam the pedal to the metal because there are huge profits to be made.
