As RedState reported yesterday, ten people were shot and killed in a grocery store yesterday in Boulder, CO. Details have been sparse up until this point as is typical in these situations.
But now, we have a name, and it nukes just about every prior predominant media narrative surrounding the shooting. There are few different spellings going around via various reports, but they are all trying to convey the same thing. I hope you have a neck brace on because you are about to have whiplash from how quickly the news outlets that have been speculating this was “white supremacy” change their tune.

Looks like all the white racists were the victims. Sorry media.
Does Colorado have concealed carry? If not, why not?

When I heard a media talking head say 'we must not speculate on a motive' I knew the shooter didn't fit the Left's narrative. Sounds like he was a screwball marinated in social media phony news, with a dash of Islamic paranoia on top.

But Xiden has already called on the Senate to pass his gun control measures! Given the shooters proclivities, perhaps a law banning democrats from owning guns is in order, instead of law abiding Americans.

The perpetrator is a Syrian Muslim who came to the USA years ago either as an immigrant or a refugee, according to the UK Daily Mail, that is always ahead of the liberal US media while hoping to find some anti-gun or racist angle they can exploit.
Chances are the US liberal media, when they wake up, will claim that the perpetrator is mentally ill and was egged on into murdering ten people by Trump and his Islamophobic statements, while ignoring the fact that the perpetrator is an ISIS supporter.
Biden is already swinging into action advocating taking guns away from law abiding US citizens, claiming he can’t wait one more day to do that.

#1, yes, Colorado does have Shall Issue concealed carry and has had it for a long time. Not hard to be legally armed in Colorado. I have a vacation home there and have been going armed for decades, all legally. Even before CCW was easy, it was legal in Colorado to have a loaded gun in your car in glove box or door pocket.
People need to really think hard about not being armed. You have exactly as much security as you brought with you.
Bless the brave officer for going in alone. I am greatly saddened that he was killed. I want to know if he was wearing a soft ballistic vest. Not all departments require it, some officers don't wear them. Of course, they don't stop everything, and only cover a portion of the body.

Now that the Left's preferred narrative has been derailed, watch how they try to steer it towards one of their other favorite anti-American or anti-Conservative narratives.

My ballistic vest question in #7 is moot if the reports that the terrorist used a rifle are true. Normal police vests are not rated to stop any rifle rounds, only handgun rounds.
Bless the officer for going in alone against a rifle wielding terrorist, and getting one hit which apparently disabled the terrorist.
And I retract my comments about marksmanship, too. Any handgun against any rifle is a very, very uneven confrontation. God bless the brave officer, and keep his family safe.

The perp lived in Arvada. He probably shot up the store in Boulder because he was afraid that if he tried it in Arvada, some righteous civilian with a carry permit would send him to meet his 72 virgins. It’s a shame that didn’t happen. Boulder County has a fair number of permit holders; I haven’t been there foe a while, but there used to be a really nice gun store in downtown Boulder.
I went to the King Soopers this morning near my house. Business as usual. And I brought a gun.

#7 is spot on. This is a perfect example of why every state should have concealed carry laws. These psychotic morons are out there. We are not even safe in church anymore, much less a grocery store.
It's a shame no one was armed in that store; they may have been able to put this piece of s---- out of his misery. Don't be a victim of these low-life losers. Arm yourself.

There is a lot to unpack here. I hope someone will explain why this man (regardless of his heritage) went into this grocery store in his skivvies...in cold weather. If this had happened in the South, there would be talk...."that fella's a bubble off of plumb".

#13, I wondered if he was treated by EMTs in the store to stop bleeding, and checked really carefully by the cops before moving him, which may have involved the removal of outer garments. The leg would would definitely require either slicing the pant let all the way up or removal of pants for access, and the cops may have just felt better knowing that they definitely didn't miss a knife or other weapon in a quick pat down with a bad guy like this.
Still a shame he's alive, wasting perfectly good oxygen.

Here's another way to look at his motive. Taken from another web site:
Raheem Kassam @RaheemKassam Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the Islamist attack in Brussels which left 35 dead and 340 injured.
It was the 4th anniversary of the Westminster (London) attack which killed 6 and injured 49.
Ahmad Al-Issa appears to have followed an ISIS-inspired pattern.
Just like cartels on the border, Islamic-inspired terrorists are emboldened by the weak Biden regime.
Carnage has returned to America.
