The United Auto Workers (UAW) union said that Ford Motor Co.’s plan to build a new vehicle in Mexico instead of Ohio might be a violation of the auto manufacturer’s contractual commitments. “We 100 percent reject the company’s decision to put corporate greed and more potential profits over American jobs and the future of our members. We expect the company to honor its contractual commitments to this membership and when it fails to do so we will take action,” UAW Vice President Gerald Kariem said. “We are intensely exploring our options at this time,” he added.

Trump did everything he could to keep American jobs in the USA, now after Biden assumes office a lot of American jobs are shutdown inside the USA and others are being sent to Mexico. The labor unions that urged their members to vote for Biden and the Democrats should be asking themselves if all that is just a coincidence with Biden being installed as President. When Trump left office gasoline around here could be purchased for $1.69 a gallon, now it is selling for $2.78 a gallon, the unions should also be asking themselves how will that adversely impact auto workers when gasoline hits $5.00 a gallon and people slowdown their purchases of new motor vehicles. Clearly the unions must be led by a whole bunch of money grubbing and silly people.

I managed hourly workers in a right to work State at a plant with a represented workforce. I never had problems with any of the "scabs" who came to work on time and competently did their jobs. About 20% of the union should have been fired outright but the arbitration process was tedious and most supervisors did not want to have to spend the time and frustration dealing with it. I know a union employee who should have been terminated multiple times retire after 30 years. I never understood why ethical workers joined the union. Intimidation, I suppose. BTW where's Hunter?

Could it be that Ford does not want to deal with crippling new environmental regulations under Biden? Unbridled Union power under Biden? Biden's soak the rich, hate corporations attitude? Biden's upcoming increase in corporate income taxes? $15.00 minimum wage which will make the unions want to renegotiate already bloated pay rates and benefit packages? Demand that all new factories be "green" substantially increasing costs under Biden and liberal Democrats? Shall I go on? Elections have consequences, the union chose wrong!

Here’s what we know: Two men, Julian Khater and George Tanios, have been charged with nine criminal counts for actions taken on January 6th just outside the steps of the U.S. Capitol building. The most serious offense appears to be assault on an officer with a dangerous weapon, arising from Khater’s alleged use of Tanios’s chemical spray to tag Officer Sicknick and two other officers in the face.

The other side of buyer's remorse is seller's remorse. That happens when you sell or even give away something that you miss after its gone. Rich Lowry, editor of the Never Trump Review, has a variant called sellout's remorse. He sold out his once-conservative magazine's reputation to gain brownie points among the elitists. His Against Trump issue was a political and intellectual failure because 1. Trump won the presidency, and 2. Trump was the most successful conservative president in decades. Opposition from Fake Conservatives helped Democrats stymie President Trump's completion of the wall.
