The other side of buyer's remorse is seller's remorse. That happens when you sell or even give away something that you miss after its gone.
Rich Lowry, editor of the Never Trump Review, has a variant called sellout's remorse. He sold out his once-conservative magazine's reputation to gain brownie points among the elitists. His Against Trump issue was a political and intellectual failure because 1. Trump won the presidency, and 2. Trump was the most successful conservative president in decades.
Opposition from Fake Conservatives helped Democrats stymie President Trump's completion of the wall. As hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens gather at our border, Lowry realizes the price paid for selling out.

A Milwaukee County children’s court judge who served as CEO of a foundation promoting Drag Queen Story Hours has been arrested on tentative charges of possession of child pornography.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Wednesday that Brett Blomme, 38, was charged with seven counts of possession of child pornography:The complaint states the DOJ’s Division of Criminal Investigation began the investigation into Blomme through a “CyberTip” provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
According to the “tip,” a Kik messaging application user known as “dommasterbb,” uploaded child pornography images and videos “on 27 separate occasions in October and November of 2020.”

Is the military more focused on winning wars, or Wokeism?
Americans should not have to ask this question.
But on account of doings of the Biden-led Department of Defense (DoD), Fox News’ Tucker Carlson was rightly compelled to proffer it. That he received any DoD response—and no less an almost parodic scolding, rather than an assurance that the military is singularly focused on crushing our enemies—demonstrates an existential problem for our country.
It shows that the progressives’ Long March through our institutions is reaching its dangerous apex.
This is a dangerous apex because when it comes to matters of national security and foreign policy, politicization literally kills.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) union said that Ford Motor Co.’s plan to build a new vehicle in Mexico instead of Ohio might be a violation of the auto manufacturer’s contractual commitments.
“We 100 percent reject the company’s decision to put corporate greed and more potential profits over American jobs and the future of our members. We expect the company to honor its contractual commitments to this membership and when it fails to do so we will take action,” UAW Vice President Gerald Kariem said. “We are intensely exploring our options at this time,” he added.

Sandor Mecs was a child when his family lived in the town of Szentendre, Hungary. (Snip) life in post-World War II Hungary was anything but ideal if you were a free thinker.

The U.S. military has now turned its wrath inward on Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
The new secretary of defense relayed his “revulsion” for Carlson’s questioning the role of women in combat—a position that had been the military’s centuries-long orthodoxy until about seven years ago.
Pentagon spokesman John Kirby even compared Carlson to the Communist Chinese military: “What we absolutely won’t do is take personnel advice from a talk show host, or the Chinese military.”
The now-cocky Department of Defense website further boasted, “Press Secretary Smites Fox Host.”
So what was the biblically “smitten” Carlson’s crime?

When a politician promises to “tell the truth,” as President Biden did in his nationally televised address last Thursday, you can add that statement to familiar ones lacking the ring of sincerity. They include: “The gun isn’t loaded;” “the microphone is off;” “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” and “I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.”
A promise to tell the truth might imply that others (himself?) have been lying in the past. Why not just be truthful? Honesty is not only the best policy, it is a practice people don’t have to brag about if they have a record of veracity.

The gobsmacking parseltongue continues from the podium at the Brady room in the White House. Today Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked about Customs and Border Patrol officers informing media they are not allowed to talk about the border crisis per instructions from DHS and the White House. The response from the White House is talk to DHS. WATCH:(Video)This level of evasive non-answer from the White House is actually dangerous to our national and foreign policy. It’s widely assumed in much of the media commentary I’ve seen in the past few months that neither the Durham special counsel’s office nor the federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax affairs are real.
(Snip)
If it’s true that both always were or soon became bogus investigations, this brings up a relevant question: Since President Joe Biden is now safely installed in the White House, and there’s no longer any reason to keep up the pretense that anything is happening, why are both investigations continuing? Why haven’t they been ended yet?
Counter to most of the media pontifications about this ongoing federal investigation, I’m convinced they are quite real.

Most Republican senators signed onto a letter to the Government Accountability Office accusing Joe Biden of 'unlawful' acts in stopping construction of Donald Trump's southern border wall on Day One of his presidency.
'[I]n one of the first official acts of his presidency, Joseph Biden suspended border wall construction and ordered a freeze of funds provided by Congress for that purpose,' the 40 senators wrote. 'In the weeks that followed, operational control of our southern border was compromised and a humanitarian and national security crisis has ensued.'

Nothing exemplifies the madness of our times more than the fervent push since 2013 by therapists, educators, social workers, and journalists to poison, mutilate, and sterilize girls who have self-diagnosed themselves with the novel social-media-transmitted hysteria now known as rapid-onset gender dysphoria (ROGD).
Hence, Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters by Abigail Shrier, an op-ed freelancer for The Wall Street Journal, is one of the most valuable (as well as sensible and lively) books of recent years. Shrier is terribly bright but not an academic: She brings a wise Jewish mother’s perspective to her advice for parents losing their chance of grandchildren to the insanity of our age.
