Democratic Rhode Island Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse called on the new attorney general Merrick Garland to examine the FBI’s “fake” investigation into sexual assault allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The Rhode Island Democrat suggested that the investigation into Kavanaugh’s conduct had been incomplete, and asked Garland to examine how thoroughly the FBI had investigated Kavanaugh, according to the Guardian. The publication noted that the letter could push the DOJ to address questions about the Kavanaugh investigation, though it may not result in the FBI re-examining the matter.

So now you want us to believe that a FBI that was trying to bury Trump gave his nominee a free pass? You have a bridge to throw into the deal?

Whitehouse has no authority to tell the FBI how to conduct their background investigations. If the FBI was required to investigate every lead on a telephone tip line, and Democrat operatives who did not want the Senate to confirm Kavanaugh knew that, they could have sent in a hundred thousand bogus tips and the FBI would still be trying to run down all those so-called leads. That’s not the way it works. It’s all political, if the Democrats thought they could get enough wimpy Republicans and RINO’s to go along with them, the Democrats would be impeaching all three of the Trump Supreme Court nominees, claiming that Trump was never a legitimate President having somehow stolen the 2016 election with help from Putin and the Russians, and therefore all his Supreme Court nominees should be removed from office. The Democrats should get over it!

What does it matter? He sides with the rest of the louts on the court. I feel nothing for Kavanaugh and any stress or grief that could be heaped upon this betaboy is welcome. Let him suffer.

Note how the Democrats are relentless in seeking to destroy their perceived enemies while the Republicans do nothing when in power to right grievous wrongs. What, pray tell, did Lindsey Graham do to investigate and punish those who perpetrated the coup against President Trump. He headed the appropriate committee for two years. He certainly appeared almost constantly on Sean Hannity’s gab fest promising justice was just around the corner.

An investigation of Whitehouse would provide much more meat than reinvestigating the product of Doctor Balsey Ford's imagination.

“It takes a lot of courage to come forward so the presumption is it should be taken seriously," President Biden said in a TV interview. ... from Newsmax coverage.
I bet that statement was issued to give political cover to the Dems' push to re-investigate Justice Kavanaugh. Now that the Dems have effective control over the Senate, they ought to be able to defeat him. They just need cover for their double-jeopardy gambit...

Why would the deep-state FBI give Cavanaugh a clean slate? That would benefit Trump.
