Conservative talk show radio pioneer Rush Limbaugh, whose work influenced a generation of American politics, has reportedly died at the age of 70, succumbing to advanced lung cancer.(Snip)To the end Limbaugh publicly credited his faith in Jesus with getting him through his very difficult battle with cancer."I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is of immense value, strength, confidence and that's why I'm able to remain fully committed to the idea that what is supposed to happen will happen when it's meant to," he said during one of his final programs.

Rush is at peace in heaven—he has seen the face of our Lord. Scripture teaches that death is the separation of our souls from our bodies, bodies resting in graves awaiting the final day when soul and body will be reunited. “At the moment of death, our souls, and the souls of all those who die in faith, immediately are in the presence of Christ, and will enjoy His presence, peace and joy until the great day of the resurrection of all flesh.” Upon the Second Coming, bodies of baptized believers will be glorified and “free from tears pain, sickness and age—perfectly renewed and glorified resurrection bodies.” Bodies that will “spend all eternity in heaven, enjoying the presence of God...” “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:26)

Thank you poster for the heart warming response to Rush's passing. Some of the articles by the MSM today are filled with all the controversy of life that Rush or any other normal person endures during a lifetime of trials and tribulation.

No one in the history of any endeavor - - has been the dominant player in his field for over thirty years. No one in sports, entertainment, science, politics - - anywhere - - has done that - - but Rush did.
But his quantity of years was more than surpassed by the quality of his performance. And throughout - - he was always kind, classy, and a true gentleman.
It is said that no one is irreplaceable - - but Rush comes mighty close.
RIP - - our wonderful El Rushbo.

Only by God’s Grace could Rush have persevered through all the trials and turmoils of his short life. His single-minded focus on the truth also kept him going the way he did.
R.I.P. Mr. Limbaugh. There will never be another like you.

It's always good when a person has others to testify to his faith after he's gone. My mom left this life before covid and xiden last year, and I was glad that she did. I'm glad Rush did not linger to see much else of the country he loved go down yet again under poor leadership. I love you, Rush, and hope to see you in glory! My heart is weeping right now, but I'm rejoicing as well. Rush is one of a kind. I don't want to hear any talk of who will replace him; it can't be done, so don't try it, please.

Rush was simply the best. I used to come home from work and pick up the newspaper or watch the TV news and wonder what was goin on. Then I discovered the Rush web page and suddenly. it all made sense. After I retired I listened to Rush many times and he was always on target and inspirational. I hope someone can take over and keep the light shinning. I would like to see a National Day of Remembrance for Rush.

These last four months have been a tough go for conservativism. The loss of Rush Limbaugh hurts. It hurts all of us. Now we mourn and heal our souls. Rush now smiles over all of us. With his passing, he has conferred upon us the strength and will to sustain our republic. Now it is our turn.
"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen."
Rest in Peace, Rush Limbaugh.

RUSH was a great man, a brilliant yet humble patriot and a man of God. He brightened our personal and national way with much grace and courage. Talk about a fine role model! Condolences to his family and friends. We will miss his wisdom and insight, as well as his humor. He was a great, GREAT man who was a blessing to this country.

Rush always said of himself; "Talent...on loan from GOD."
God's loan has been repaid...with interest.

Such devastating news, and we all knew he was in the fight for his life. Those of us who listened every day heard his voice begin to weaken recently, but I thought he may return.
He was my buddy during the day with his humor and good cheer, even in the middle of bad times.
God’s Timing is never our own. It is fitting that Rush left us on a day of repentance.
God rest your soul, Rush, and comfort Kathryn and your family, friends, and all of us who love you. We cannot imagine your well-earned joy.

RIP, Rush. He named the name of Jesus and possessed salvation. No ten pound prop Bible for him. He is in heaven today.

Earlier this week, I had a hunch this was coming because of his Christmas message and recent prolonged absence. I am finding it hard to believe Rush is no longer with us, having listened to him religiously for some thirty years after first seeing him interviewed by Commie Steve Kroft on 60 Minutes back in the day when we used to watch it. He was the big fat guy who validated everything we all believed. I called him The Great Validator! The Country needed him now more than ever, but alas he is gone.

God bless his soul. I believe I AM THAT I AM has welcomed his soul telling him, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Now lets see the Marxist Communist democrat, rino, politicians give him the respect he earned and deserves, silence from their lying treasonous lips.
That does not include being in state in the Marxist Communist democrat, rino, Capitol rotunda which now represents Global Marxist Communist One World Government, being forced upon the American Constitution & Bill of Rights loving Non Communist citizens. It would be a slap in the face of Rush.

In the end it wasn't the Gulfstream G550, or his Palm Beach Mansion, or the millions of dollars he pulled in each year, no, it was his personal relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, that mattered most of all, because it is the ONLY thing that matters for our eternal life. Rush was an unabashed Christian and understood God's grace in his life. He will be remembered for being an honest servant of the Lord.

"... in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." Cor: 12
For some, a big change. For Rush, not so very much. I miss him already.
