Those figures are both up from June, when 35 percent of Republicans and 37 percent of Democrats expressed the same sentiment." In Kentucky, four seniors died the same day of their vaccination on Dec. 30, 2020. Three of the four who passed away reportedly already had had coronavirus prior to getting vaccinated. In Arkansas, four seniors died at a long term care facility about a week after their vaccination. All tested positive for COVID-19 after vaccination. (Snip) Deaths after vaccination don’t necessarily mean the vaccine is to blame. Of those receiving coronavirus vaccines, many are elderly and frail, or already suffering from serious illnesses. That makes it difficult to know whether there’s a connection.

The Democratically-controlled Senate spends thousands of collective hours conducting an impeachment trial against a president who is no longer president. The acquittal is predetermined, as in the first impeachment effort a year ago—and known to be so to the Democratic prosecutors. The constitutionally mandated presiding judge—the chief justice of the United States—refused to show up. Chief Justice John Roberts apparently believes an impeachment trial of a private citizen is either a waste of time or unconstitutional—or both. The Democratic House of Representatives is busy ferreting out purportedly extremist Republican members. For the first time in memory, one party now removes committee members of the other.

An Arizona mother whose son was killed by an illegal alien said the Biden administration’s border policies are “absolutely” going to create more “angel families.” Angel families are relatives of those who have been killed by an illegal immigrant. “That’s the saddest thing to me of all,” Mary Ann Mendoza told The Epoch Times on Feb. 8. “I’ve been speaking out on this for 5 1/2 years now.” Mendoza’s son, Brandon, was killed in a 2014 car crash caused by an illegal immigrant who was drunk, high on meth, and speeding along a Mesa, Arizona, highway in the wrong direction. Brandon, a sergeant on the Mesa police force, was 32 years old.

To the extent that Joe Biden drew votes, a very big reason was the expectation from parents and students that he would re-open the public schools, currently on extended shutdown over COVID concerns. That was his promise, that was a signature issue, with many pixels spilled in multiple spots on Biden's campaign website supporting the claim that he was serious about re-opening schools. Now that he's in office, too bad for those who actually believed him. Instead of re-opening the schools, Biden's re-drawn himself a goal line for school re-opening so pathetic, so wretched, so insignificant it's actually lower than what's already going on now in school reopenings.

I have a question. When did politicians and federal employees start calling themselves “public servants”? Even more importantly, why are we letting them? It’s almost as if they’re trying to claim the mantle of nobility for making a sacrifice in the public interest. But I don’t understand what that sacrifice is. They’re paid better and have better benefits than most private-sector employees. They’re rarely held accountable for their performance. Why do we treat them as if they’re serving a higher calling than any other profession in the country?Take Joe Biden, for example. He claims to have been in public service

Is the Trump-hating left trying to steal the term “patriot” from conservatives who have essentially owned the word since the tea party days? Progressives are forever trying to manipulate language to persuade a leery public, and on Wednesday MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski declared “You’re not a patriot if you can’t see what happened here.”Brzezinski was talking about the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, targeting Republican lawmakers who do not support former President Donald Trump being impeached for allegedly inciting violence. She pressed the point that the violent few who broke away from an earlier “Stop the Steal” rally “came because of Trump. And everybody knows it.”

It is a foundational tenet of Trump hatred that the 45th president and all who support him are stupid. With the Senate impeachment trial underway, anyone criticizing it must be an idiot, because everyone knows that Trump is evil incarnate, possibly even worse than Hitler. That may explain why Andrea Mitchell of NBC News thought she could shame Ted Cruz as an ignoramus for criticizing the Senate impeachment trial yesterday: @SenTedCruz says #ImpeachmentTrial is like Shakespeare full of sound and fury signifying nothing. In December, Floridians celebrated their ninth coldest Christmas on record, and the coldest in 21 years. Even South Florida, that frost-free region of palm trees and margaritas, was shivering on Christmas Day. (snip) It isn't just Florida. Temperatures are colder this year throughout the southeastern U.S., while massive snowfalls have hit the northeast. (snip) "We must take drastic action now," President Biden says, "to address the climate disaster facing our nation and the world." Republican Sens. Josh Hawley of Missouri and Rick Scott of Flordia have introduced a bill to withhold U.S. taxpayer funds from the World Health Organization until it makes leadership reforms. The legislation introduced Tuesday called the World Health Organization (WHO) Accountability Act aims to hold the WHO accountable for what the senators allege to be playing a role in China's early coverup of the COVID-19 pandemic when it was just starting to spread through China.

“Time is a luxury our country does not have.” That was Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer explaining why Democrats are in such a mad rush to pass a massive $1.9 trillion COVID “relief” bill. What Schumer, President Joe Biden and other Democrats, and the mainstream media fail to mention is that the government still hasn’t spent $1.3 trillion of the previous COVID relief funds. If the public knew that, would a majority be in favor of anything like the new Biden plan? For those with short memories, there have been five COVID relief bills in less than a year, with

As anyone who has passed a high school civics class knows, the impeachment process is not a legal proceeding but a political one. Luckily, CNN host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo knew at least that much. But he spent a lot of Wednesday’s Prime Time decrying Senate Republicans for not being impartial jurors in President Trump’s second impeachment trial. Yet, he never admitted that Democrats weren’t impartial either, and even boasted about one of his guests already calling for Trump’s conviction. On top of that, Cuomo admitted to wanting to “traumatize” the Republican side of the Senate

One thing I’ve noticed about older people: They don’t like it when things aren’t working properly. If you don’t believe me, adjust an 82-year-old man’s front seat. He won’t be amused. Real world example: the case of Aaron Epstein. The 90-year-old North Hollywood resident’s been a customer of AT&T for more than 60 years. But as it turns out, he’s less than pleased with his internet speed. So recently, Epstein took action. A call to customer service is okay; a letter’s one way of lettin’ them know you mean it. Aaron went a different route. Rather than reaching out privately, the sick-of-it web surfer aired his grievance in public — via The Wall Street Journal.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told Fox News’ Hannity on Wednesday that House impeachment managers had grown the “not guilty” vote in the Senate that day with an “absurd” presentation that floated a conspiracy theory that President Donald Trump planned the Capitol riot. Graham told Hannity that Democrats had rushed to impeach Trump before investigating. Now that their “incitement” claim was falling apart, he said, they had to invent a “cockamamie” theory: Let me tell your viewers: the “not guilty” vote is growing after today. I think most Republicans found the presentation by the House managers offensive and absurd.
