Dozens of former Republican officials, who view the party as unwilling to stand up to former President Donald Trump and his attempts to undermine U.S. democracy, are in talks to form a center-right breakaway party, four people involved in the discussions told Reuters. The early stage discussions include former elected Republicans, former officials in the Republican administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Trump, ex-Republican ambassadors and Republican strategists, the people involved say.More than 120 of them held a Zoom call last Friday to discuss the breakaway group, which would run on a platform of 'principled conservatism,' including adherence to the Constitution

I hardly know where to start. What exactly is "principled conservatism" as practiced by these losers? Selling out your country? Seeing someone getting mugged and rushing in to smack the victim?
And what would be their symbol? A rat maybe? Or a weasel?
They did their damage, started their wars, wiped their keesters with the BOR and and ran up our debt to insane levels. I dont know how much more principle we can stand.

Don’t believe this crap. This is all a distraction. They know the real threat is Trump starting a new Party and that’s exactly what needs to be done.
As soon as the no-peacmint is over, Trump starts building a media empire and a New Political Party.

They already have a break away party. It's called Republican.
The Republicans sure can't be categorized as standing up for Trump.
The Republicans sure can't be categorized as standing up for their base as they join the Democrats to ship all the manufacturing jobs out of the country. Replace all the engineering jobs with near minimum wage H1Bs. Demolish the Tea Party. Demolish Palin. What have the Republicans done for their base in 30 years?

That is what you did. Now we are hearing this trash talk about how you are mad with Trump, and are going to form a conservative party, based on principles you never followed when you were in power. What a bunch of lying weasels.

This is perfect, then this will expose who traitors are out in the open. Do you really think that a never trumper was one of the 80+ million that voted for President Trump. No way. Let them start a new party and take all the senators that voted for the impeachment to proceed and Kevin McCarthy. These clowns are the people that I despise so much. They were the ones that were part of the big steal and why we have to put up with Obama's third term.

They broke away in 2016 when they failed to support the people’s choice...Trump. What a joke Bush, McCains, Collins, Lisa, Sasse, Flake, Krystol & dozens of zoom members couldn’t get more than 10 people to a rally. Face it fake republicans the party belongs to Trump & his 74 million voters. The ole republicans can join Schumer & Nancy. Hey Bush what do you think of Biden's past few weeks of leadership??? Was the public invited to the zoom meeting! Who paid? The Chamber of Commerce??? Why don’t they join the Lincoln Project?.

Exactly what "principles" are they claiming they want to uphold? This is a serious question.
Free speech? Don't make me laugh.
Freedom of association? They're OK with cancelling anyone who associated with Trump.
Freedom of religion? They're OK with the COVID shutdowns of our churches.
Right to bear arms? They're rolling over for every sneaky gun and ammunition grab by the Democrats.
I repeat, exactly what principles?
Lying weasels.

Well now then. Some good news! This is nothing more than an attempt to scare the timid and meek among us. You know those individuals who revere the Republican Party and listen to these traitors. Go. Leave. Walk out the door. These are the very people who have no courage, zero moral compass and absolutely no spine. They reject the one guy who actually made a positive difference in American lives. The country was stronger, more prosperous, minorities were succeeding, the middle class and small businesses were booming, the military was not fighting any new wars, our borders were being secured, we were back! However, these jokers were fighting this agenda everyday. No one wants to be shackled by such losers! They did not make this country. It was the everyday Joe and Jane they despise who worked hard to create a vibrant economy and kept it rolling along. Take your pomposity, arrogance and losing agenda and don’t let the door hit ‘cha where the Lord split ‘cha!

Those who have been loyal to the GOP for the past forty years have been swindled and conned. We saw what the democrats had to offer and were appalled which clouded our judgement and the ability to clearly see the fraudsters (GOP from Bush Sr to today) taking advantage of us via our deep concern and love of this country. As pleasurable as watching the GOP implode the consequences will be severe. Looking to Trump to form a new party and lead America again is quite a gambit which personally I do not have much confidence in being successful. These characters in this article are charlatans that offer soothing emotional claptrap with the true intention of keeping most Americans as serfs to big interests and the elite.

Looks like there might just be a PARTY street fight! Those Panty Waists against the Warriors behind Trump. Who do you put your money on? I say the 75-80 million Trumpsters. We can form a new Party and leave them in the Dust. They can't win without us, so they may as well join the Democrat Party. They back them most of the time anyway. It's hard to believe adults would hate Trump so much they would leave their Party. But it's their choice. I'm going to stay with the guy who brought AMERICA FIRST back. The man who had the Stock Market it's highest ever. The man who shut down Illegal Immigration with his Wall. The man who went toe to toe with China and others who hate us. He made those countries fear our military might. Now, those Republicans, who no doubt voted for Biden, are partly responsible for taking our country down, piece by piece. Problem is, it won't affect them like it will us. They have ALL made their millions while in Politics. They can sit back and retire in luxury while those who worked on the Keystone Pipeline lose their homes and ability to support their families. That's the way it works with THEIR NEW Republican Party. Doesn't sound to me like a Party I would sign on to!

No, Ms McDaniel, the only way is if the Dominion & Smartmatic machines are destroyed, criminal election officials prosecuted, and RINO legislators kicked out. How can they write this utter falsehood and get away with it? This is pure B.S. and they get away with this kind of slanderous accusation all the time.
President Trump has done nothing of the sort, and it’s the radical leftist/socialist democrats that are seeking to destroy this country.
Breaking election laws and getting away with it undermines this REPUBLIC. I wish republicans would start saying that more.

The sooner people remember how this bunch originated the sooner they can start cleaning out our party. Most of these people are not true republicans, never have been. They are something called either neocons due to their democrat origins, or they are from the Rockefeller Country Club cuck republican wing of the party. Both bunches infested the actual party and started a rot that really needs to be torn out by the roots by the rest of us that they betrayed in November and January.
Most of this bunch simply re-registered their party affiliation when they saw Reagan was going to sweep into the WH, and they rode his coattails into office. Never bothering to change their democrat/cuck behavior patterns. Like McCain and Graham did. Neither of those two ever stuck with their party when needed, they chose to be the democrats they were.

On the one hand I would think that a serious discussion on this topic would be held in confidence but on the other I think it scares the pants off the Uniparty and that's exactly why the regime now in Washington has become like the 7th Cavalry surrounded by thousands of Sioux, although Rachel Levine makes a better George Custer than Joe Biden does. Joe Biden does share a trait with George Custer, he graduated very low in his class while Custer was the "class goat" or dead last.
