And to underscore Cooper’s seriousness, a NewsBusters search found that he also leveled these comparisons back on January 12.To give you an idea of just how callous this comparison was, 8,000 men were slaughtered in July 1995 during the 1992-1995 Bosnian War that killed over 100,000 people. She was quite a star in her own right and over the years continued to work hard to boost the legacy of the Supremes."

How close Los Angeles came to what would have been — many times over— the deadliest disaster in U.S. history remains a matter of historical conjecture. When the Sylmar earthquake rumbled through Los Angeles 50 years ago, on Feb. 9, 1971, the top of the earthen Lower Van Norman Dam melted into the reservoir. No one knows exactly what kept the dam near Granada Hills from collapsing. Was it the number of feet of earthen wall that remained? Was it the duration of the quake, since a few more seconds might have shaken loose the rest of the dam face, unleashing

To the chagrin of Robert Frost fans, when President Biden had a chance to choose the path less traveled, he went the other way. Despite issuing 40 unilateral presidential directives in ten days that curried favor with his base, President Biden had a real opening to prove “unity” was not just a campaign slogan but a governing philosophy. Once again, like his leadership partners Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Joe Biden defaulted to time-worn habit instead of acceding to a fresh opportunity for change and progress.Monday afternoon, in a meeting between a President wielding majority power, and ten Republican senators armed only with pluck and purpose,
