Twitter is considering adding subscriptions fees for some features as the company looks to diversify its revenue beyond ads, a company official confirmed Monday. "Increasing revenue durability is our top company objective. You will see us continue to research and experiment with ways to further diversify our revenue beyond ads in 2021 and beyond," Twitter's revenue product lead, Bruce Falck, said in a statement.
"These may include subscriptions and other approaches that will give people and businesses of all sizes on Twitter access to unique features and enhanced opportunities for content creation, discovery, and engagement," Falck added.

Once Twitter is just liberals talking to each other, there's no reason to pay for content.

And will those fees be socially equitable? Could you, say, use your loot from Portland to pay?

Pure marketing genius...cancel and drive off 50% of your market, then require a a subscription fee. Brilliant. Jack Dorsey must be eating Tide pods to come up with these awesome ideas.

Revenue durability? Is that another way of saying our revenue is down due to people stopping using our product due to liberal bias? Like liberal city mayors, and governors, it sounds like Twitter is looking to make up for revenue lost from people moving off their platform. I'm surprised they haven't thought of a per tweet fee or a "Follower Tax". After all, you should pay more based on how many follower you have, just like your should pay more taxes based on how much you earn. You know, pay your fair share!

How this company isn't a single-digit stock right now after losing hundreds of millions of followers with their one-sided, arbitrary decision to exclude anyone with an opinion or idea they don't like, is beyond me.
Presume they will follow the same path as the HatingtonPost that became an echo-chamber of liberal and progressives shouting at anyone who didn't agree with them.
This looks to be a self-inflicted business decision which likely will result in lawsuits due to mismanagement

I guess they stole and sold all the useful personal data of their users that there is a market for, and election successfully stolen, that the Deep State no longer wants to fund them as much for enhancing their propaganda.

Leftists don't pay for stuff. You could have maybe gotten people on the right to pay, but nooooooo; you gotta muffle their speech. That's what you get! I hope you go completely broke; you will have brought it on yourselves. I just had a flashback of talking to my teenagers when they were being hardheaded.

Free to liberals, Prohibitively expensive to non-liberals.
I used to joke that if Trump went off Twitter, they'd go broke. Gee, I was right.

Why doesn’t the homeless looking billionaire Dorsey just pay for it out of his own ill-gotten off-shore accounts?
