What can you do about the Trumpites next door?

Original Article

Posted By: Dreadnought, 2/6/2021 10:48:56 PM

Oh, heck no. The Trumpites next door to our pandemic getaway, who seem as devoted to the ex-president as you can get without being Q fans, just plowed our driveway without being asked and did a great job. How am I going to resist demands for unity in the face of this act of aggressive niceness? Of course, on some level, I realize I owe them thanks — and, man, it really looks like the guy back-dragged the driveway like a pro — but how much thanks? These neighbors are staunch partisans of blue lives, and there aren't a lot of anything other than white lives in neighborhood. This is also kind of weird.

Maybe the writer could educate herself. AOC LIED about her experience on Jan. 6th. Trump failed to mitigate the virus? What an idiot. Without Trump's Operation Warp Speed, we'd be locked up for another 2 or 3 YEARS!!! And he did not incite a riot, either. Actually, President Trump WON the election in 2020. I hope these kind Trumpian neighbors stop doing anything for this self-important, ignorant and condescending snob.

I thought it was satire and thoroughly enjoyed the piece until two-thirds down when I realized the writer was serious! Lord have mercy!!! Sadly, its a glimpse into "progressive" culture where no-strings-attached kindness is considered a hostile act. Without God in their lives, or worldview, the modern nihilist takes care of #1 and expects others to do the same. They inhabit enclaves of the like-minded where every act has a hidden motive. Every social interaction has a giver and a taker, and every conversation is scored for effectiveness in moving forward. Our poor post-modern Virginia, to her horror she found out Santa Claus is real and personified by a Trump supporter. Her self-revelatory angst is the screed of an anorexic soul forced to partake at the table of neighborly kindness. Her great burden is determining and then meeting the very least possible display of gratitude expected by polite society, while at the same time communicating that her disdain still holds for her neighbors' political beliefs...they don't deserve a covered dish. The entire article literally rings with cognitive dissonance. I kept hoping she would somehow "circle back"; make a plate of cookies and knock on her neighbor's door with a smile on her face, if not in her heart. I imagined an offer of sincere gratitude from one human to another for a favor done under shared extreme circumstances. Its ironic how the enlightened elite fashion themselves as lovers of "the people", but don't think much of individual persons.

People on the left really are mentally ill. They are so twisted in their thinking they cannot help but be vile and ungrateful. This woman actually believes that if she was not white her neighbors would not have plowed her driveway. They would have because they did it to be neighborly not because they were rewarding her whiteness.

What amoral, blinkered idiocy. Encapsulates perfectly the “end justifies the means,” lying hypocrisy of the armchair information-deprived left. Even the undeniable evidence of an altruistic mindset in their neighbor's value system does nothing to alter their blind devotion to an irrational ideology.

Firstly, I reject her comparison of the "Trumpites" next door with Hezb'allah and Farrakan: clearly, Trump supporters have not behaved in the manner of terrorist groups. bigots and drug dealers. (Or, please, show me, madam, when!). Secondly, she mentions "back in the city." Leads me to think that she is now in a rural/country neighborhood. In my experience, country/rural people are more likely to help each other than city people are. Thirdly, she supports the liar AOC, and the lie that President Trump ". . .utterly failed to mitigate." the chinese virus (perhaps because his response wasn't onerous as she would have liked. Does everyone get it now? Even simple acts of kindness by a neighbor who happens to be a Patriotic American is translated by a communist death democrat as crimes against humanity, a demonstration of racism, and above all triggers contempt for her kind neighbors who have committed the ultimate crime of supporting our legally re-elected President Trump. Unity, reaching across the aisle, smiling, being friendly, patient, and generous are wasted upon these communists who hate us with a passion. They are like the muslim terrorists who only respect force. Compromise is akin to surrender with these evil, evil communists. They hate us and want to brutally crush us. They are not our fellow Americans anymore. They are our mortal enemies. The Truth can sometimes be very harsh. The choice they are giving us is either submit or die, there is no third choice. #28, you are spot on. When I read the article, I was immediately reminded of this scene from Schindler's List, when Commandant Amon Goth is talking to the Jewish woman, Helen Hirsch, who he made into his servant. He says, "I realize you are not a person in the strictest sense." He asks, "Is this the face of a rat?" "Are these the eyes of a rat?" The propaganda of the Nazis is speaking loudly to him. Yet something deeper is making him question the anti-Semitic messages. He acknowledges that she is a good servant and a good cook. But how can this be? How can there be anything good in her at all? After all, she is a Jew. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7vXc2HsMZg Commandant Goth finally gives in to his pathological anti-Semitic hatred, refusing to give in to any kindness, and instead, decides to beat her. But there is no audience in the room for which he is performing. But the author, Virginia Heffernan, of this anti-Trump article is performing for the readers of the Los Angeles Times. It's as though she will acknowledge the kindness of her pro-Trump neighbors--if only briefly--who cleaned off her driveway. But the sneering hatred comes out in the end, again, like Commandant Goth. She must let her readers know that the anti-Trump hatred lives loudly in her, and that in the end, she will abide by her hatred and mistrust. The anti-Trump propaganda is living loudly in the Left and is becoming increasing audacious. And the propaganda says, "Forget what you personally experience with a Trump supporter. Instead, keep on the front burner how bad they are." The anti-Trump message from the MSM must stay front and center and is to be believed, no matter what you may personally experience when you encounter a Trump supporter. We are truly in a very bad place in American history.

Maybe because she had to get on a list and wait?Refused to sign a contract so she was scheduled after the contracted customers? Snow removers had encountered her before? They are not the ones filled with venom and hate, all they did was plow your driveway, for free! How do you respond? A venomous, hate filled rant against your neighbors who dared to help you. But you, being the judgmental, hateful, bigoted liberal you are condemns them based on their Blue lives matter flag and MAGA support. Who really has the problem here? Austin, Texas The University of Texas' long-awaited report on “The Eyes of Texas” has found that the school song has “no racist intent," but the school president said athletes and band members will not be required to sing or participate when the song is played at games and campus events. The 58-page report, released Tuesday, was commissioned last year by school President Jay Hartzell after a group of Texas athletes, most notably football players, demanded the school drop the song as part of racial injustice protests. The worst kept secret in Washington, D.C., is that Joe Biden is suffering from serious age-related cognitive decline. In January, although some people predicated he would remain in office for up to two years before he was gently ushered out to make room for Kamala Harris, I looked at the man and thought he was going to be retired by June. Lately, though, Biden looks as if he’s heading for an April or May retirement. On Monday, he had his worst public appearance yet, when he was unable to remember either the name for his Secretary of Defense or the Pentagon.

Is this a new defiance against Donald Trump by the GOP? Or a clever marketing ploy by Trump and his team? Over the weekend, Trump’s attorneys sent a cease-and-desist order to the RNC over their use of Trump’s name in their fundraising efforts. Their predictable response all but guarantees the party will continue to build its brand around Trump’s: The Republican National Committee is denying a cease-and-desist demand from Donald Trump’s attorneys, who asked the party organization to stop using the former president’s name and likeness in fundraising appeals.

The LGBT activist community has convinced many that being straight is out of style and that in order to be trendy you have to identify as something. The new order lifting restrictions will allow a number of business categories — including bars, restaurants, gyms and movie theaters — to "resume normal operations" on March 16. Gordon, a Republican, cited the "declining number of active COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations" in Wyoming as well as the state’s "significant success" in a vaccine rollout as reasons behind the easing of restrictions.

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign. In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome. So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

Thousands of illegal immigrants are being set free across the country as the crisis on the southern border escalates—and the White House admitted Monday it isn’t doing enough to discourage people from seeking unlawful entry to the United States. Speaking to reporters during a press briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged the failures after being pressed about the administration’s handling of the situation. “I would say it’s clear we need to work more on getting the message out and being very clear, now is not the time to come,” said Psaki, before reiterating the Biden administration’s claim that “the majority
