House Republicans vote to keep Liz Cheney
in leadership role

Original Article

House Republicans voted to allow Rep. Liz Cheney to keep her leadership role within the chamber after she voted to impeach former President Donald Trump last month. GOP lawmakers voted 145-61 in favor of keeping Cheney as House Republican Conference Chair -- the third highest-ranking party position in the chamber -- in a closed-door meeting on Wednesday night, NBC News reported. Cheney did not apologize for her decision to join nine other Republican members of the House in voting to impeach Trump on charges that he incited an insurrection when he delivered a speech to his supporters before they stormed the Capitol building on Jan. 6.

Nothing like trying to be a successful team when some team members refuse to block for their teammates or to tackle the opponents. And then, the republicans decide to keep these kind of people in a leadership role. Primary the traitors in 2022.

She gets rejected by the people she's sent there to represent, but the swamp loves her. Defending and keeping Marjorie is not a handout to US. Can we now know that Kevin McCarthy is not one of US, along with 143 others in there? If they're not already swamp, they're auditioning for a position in the swamp. We have no representation in Washington. Anyone still banking on 2022?

But I will donate directly to their campaigns. Never another penny to the impotent, useless, swamp creatures in the Republi-Can't Party!!!!! And I will never vote for another RINO, because I know they are clearly just as evil as Demon-Rats!!!!! There is no "lesser" of the two evils when a RINO runs against a Demon-Rat. Just a large load of stinky putrid feces no matter who wins!!!

Did y'all forget... 75 million voters who voted to return Donald Trump to the presidency and now, the majority of our elected officials (the republican party) votes to keep in leadership a swamp creature who voted to IMPEACH the man we just voted for... what in the world are they thinking!!! I am no longer rolling over - it's time for the Trump family to lead a new party - maybe the Save America party - I'm done with the swamp republicans... done!

Somebody tell me why, when push comes to shove, the Republican Party follows Democrat lead. Why do they do that? The Republican Party MUST establish themselves as a viable alternative to the Democrats for all the people out there that disagree with them, but they don't. Why is that? What use is the Republican Party? Why should I vote for them?

They are filled with the spirit of evil greed immortality selfishness dishonesty carnality and they are sealed to suffer doom. They are NOT my party from this day forward. You can’t fix something that’s broke with something that’s broke. Reforming the party will never work. Remember that. The powers that be will do everything they can to kill a new third party based on God, love of Country and adherence to our constitution and bill of rights as written.

Let the voters of Wyoming deal with her. Do you want to die on this hill when only a united Party in Congress will have any clout, any hope of beating back the leftist onslaught? The Left is counting on a fractured opposition. We must not give them what they want. Support those who are fighting FOR the Republic in whatever way we can. Fight against the Dem/Left at every level possible (letters to editors, town meetings, financial, etc). Note how the Left dominates the "commanding heights of culture", the entertainment-media complex. Stay on the alert. Keep your eye on the ball! Never give up.

There were reasons why the Pilgrims left to settle in another country with the primary reason being they just were not welcome. It is a big world out there that is quite unlike what the Western Media propagandists portray it as. The mask of the GOP has finally been tossed aside to reveal the true nature of those who control the agenda of the party. Be honest, Bush Sr and Bush Jr did nothing to improve this country with the possible exception of acting as speed bumps on the domestic slide towards complete submission to the Elite by getting us involved in two useless and pointless wars. The nomination of McCain and Romney were acts of fraud for we saw the true colors of both men after they lost (which we should all be very thankful). Let them continue to protect their own and do nothing for this country, Rely on yourself and your family and be prepared to perhaps make the most difficult decisions you have ever made. And it probably would not hurt to truly connect with God not only for your mortal being but your immortal soul as well.

What more does the Republican leadership have to do to make us understand they don’t care what we want or think? We are like a battered wife who keeps crawling back to her abuser. Face it, we have no representation in Washington. A few talk the talk and some even walk it, but as we see voter after vote, they despise us and treat us no differently than the democrats treat minorities. Wake up! The corruption inside the upper echelons of the party who protects themselves and are virtually totally DISCONNECTED from the BASE at the national level will hasted the creation of a 3rd party. They have had their own meetings and taken their own votes on Cheney. They found she LOST every time! She already has a Primary challenger. The Party will back that person!! Cheney can have all the big money backing her in 2022, but the voters are going to call her home! They were disgusted at what she SAID about our PARTY'S President and how she chose to vote for his Impeachment! SHE was a Disgrace, not Donald Trump! So much for transparency. However, we do now know that the GOP House has only 61 Conservatives and 145 moderates and RINOs. I expect the same ratio in the Senate. This explains how Kevin and Mitch got their (lack of) leadership roles. As a Conservative, I cannot continue with a Party that undermines most of my beliefs. Austin, Texas The University of Texas' long-awaited report on “The Eyes of Texas” has found that the school song has “no racist intent," but the school president said athletes and band members will not be required to sing or participate when the song is played at games and campus events. The 58-page report, released Tuesday, was commissioned last year by school President Jay Hartzell after a group of Texas athletes, most notably football players, demanded the school drop the song as part of racial injustice protests. The issue erupted into a tempest of fan outrage when football players chose to leave the field instead of

The worst kept secret in Washington, D.C., is that Joe Biden is suffering from serious age-related cognitive decline. In January, although some people predicated he would remain in office for up to two years before he was gently ushered out to make room for Kamala Harris, I looked at the man and thought he was going to be retired by June. Lately, though, Biden looks as if he’s heading for an April or May retirement. On Monday, he had his worst public appearance yet, when he was unable to remember either the name for his Secretary of Defense or the Pentagon.

Is this a new defiance against Donald Trump by the GOP? Or a clever marketing ploy by Trump and his team? Over the weekend, Trump’s attorneys sent a cease-and-desist order to the RNC over their use of Trump’s name in their fundraising efforts. Their predictable response all but guarantees the party will continue to build its brand around Trump’s: The Republican National Committee is denying a cease-and-desist demand from Donald Trump’s attorneys, who asked the party organization to stop using the former president’s name and likeness in fundraising appeals.

"The only thing we have to fear is...fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.” — Franklin Delano Roosevelt The recent school reopening guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is an example of fears influencing and resulting in misinterpretation of science and harmful policy. In the U.S. 50% of schools are closed and more only partially open. President Biden ran on a campaign indicating that science and data would guide his policy. As we approach the anniversary of the first COVID shut down, this approach is needed more than ever, especially when it comes to schools.

The LGBT activist community has convinced many that being straight is out of style and that in order to be trendy you have to identify as something. Your sexuality is now your identity, and the younger the age group the more this thinking has infected people. According to the LGBT community, any choice in identity must be respected to the point of being revered. It can never be questioned or criticized. Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon announced on Monday that the state would be lifting its state-wide mask mandate as well as some other Covid-19 economic restrictions. The new order lifting restrictions will allow a number of business categories — including bars, restaurants, gyms and movie theaters — to "resume normal operations" on March 16. Gordon, a Republican, cited the "declining number of active COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations" in Wyoming as well as the state’s "significant success" in a vaccine rollout as reasons behind the easing of restrictions.

Biden told you to vote for these men in his stump speech if you wanted $2000 stimulus checks. How is that going for those of you who believed it? Now the stimulus checks are $1400 and get smaller at higher incomes until they disappear. Not only did Biden not keep the campaign pledge he made for your new senators, but they also allowed him to sign a bill that will punish Georgia.

Between “stop the steal” and Russia-collusion claims, a majority of Americans think we’ve gotten the outcome of the presidential election wrong at least once over the past four-plus years, Scott Rasmussen writes about his latest findings. However, only a tiny fringe thinks we got it wrong both times: Most (56%) believe at least one of the last two presidents was illegitimately put into office. That includes 26% who believe Hillary Clinton was the legitimate winner in 2016

Was the 2020 presidential election stolen? That question continues to reverberate through our public life. Today I downloaded a new book by Patrick Byrne called The Deep Rig. It purports to tell the true story of how the Democrats stole the election, and why the Trump administration and the GOP bungled their opportunity to do something about it. I am half-way through the book, and am not prepared to express an opinion on it. I will say this: Byrne is not a nobody. And he describes events in detail, like his account of a meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office. In his telling, the heroes are quants and hackers

The number of migrant children detained in Border Patrol facilities has tripled over the past two weeks, amid an ongoing surge of migrants crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Over 3,250 migrant children are currently in Border Patrol custody, according to internal documents obtained by multiple outlets. That figure is triple the amount from two weeks ago and almost double the 1,700 children held in Border Patrol facilities as of last week. Of those detained, over 1,360 children have been held longer than the maximum 72 hours before being transferred from Border Patrol to shelters run by the Department of Health and Human Services. However, while around 2,600 children

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) appears to have started to shift his views on the filibuster with remarks that he made on two news shows on Sunday morning. The shift from Manchin comes after he has repeatedly stated that he would not vote to end the filibuster, despite pressure from the far-Left. During the interviews on Sunday, Manchin repeatedly claimed that he was not open to ending the filibuster because he did not want to strip the minority party of their power in the Senate, but signaled that he was open to changing it.Fox News host Chris Wallace asked Manchin if he would consider “reforming the filibuster” if “Republicans

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states: We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. [snip] As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

President Biden on Monday seemed to forget Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s name at a White House event—calling the Pentagon chief “the guy who runs that outfit over there.” Biden was announcing the nomination of two female generals to lead US military combatant commands. “And I want to thank the sec—the, the, ah former general. I keep calling him general, but my, my—the guy who runs that outfit over there,” Biden said.(Snip) Earlier at the event, Biden mentioned the Defense Department leader by his name, “Secretary Austin,” while appearing to read from a teleprompter.

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign. In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome. So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

Thousands of illegal immigrants are being set free across the country as the crisis on the southern border escalates—and the White House admitted Monday it isn’t doing enough to discourage people from seeking unlawful entry to the United States. Speaking to reporters during a press briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki acknowledged the failures after being pressed about the administration’s handling of the situation. “I would say it’s clear we need to work more on getting the message out and being very clear, now is not the time to come,” said Psaki, before reiterating the Biden administration’s claim that “the majority
