Report: Joe Biden Calls for DOJ to Resume
Obama-Era ‘Slush Fund’ Payouts to
Left-Wing Groups

President Joe Biden is looking to the Justice Department to reinstate a controversial Obama-era practice that allowed prosecutors to make settlement agreements where defendants paid outside groups instead of the government or victims, according to a report. The Trump administration stopped these payments in 2017, as outlined in a Justice Department manual that initially came from a memo from former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. “When the federal government settles a case against a corporate wrongdoer, any settlement funds should go first to the victims and then to the American people — not to bankroll third-party special interest groups or the political friends of whoever is in power,” Sessions said in 2017.

That's what government is to these leftists. Just one big piggybank that they can siphon off taxpayer dollars in to their various criminal schemes and conspiracies. Where did hundreds of billions go from Obama's "stimulus" plan? Nobody knows. Environmentalists conspire with the EPA and Interior Department to sue companies, and then get a piece of the proceeds. The DOJ conspires with leftist groups to go after corporations and people with deep pockets. Talk about racketeers! It's all a big racket to these people, and Congress and the DOJ never looks at them with RICO statutes, because they are in on it.

Corruption is the currency of our government. The corruptocrats stealing tax dollars know the deal and theft of tax payer dollars is how the system works. The American taxpayer is nothing more than a slave of the state. We have no voice, zero power over our own destiny, and freedom is an illusion. I look at Washington DC and see nothing but graft and self-serving corruption.

Joe Biden is a Catholic. Is he a practicing one? I have no idea because that is God's determination not mine. With that said, he has practices that point me to somewhat of an answer. He seems to be walking in earthly ways and not God's ways. If one of these left-wing groups is connected to abortion, and since babies are a blessing from God I would venture to say he is caught up in earthly ways.

Obama's at it again....reinstating his "bad America policies"...fortunately President Trump had the foresight to add some wording that will make the reinstating difficult for obama and his mental toadies in the basement...funny thing happened to me yesterday... my apple phone insisted that I should watch the inauguration on my phone... which I had no intention of doing...made me wonder... how many other Americans were instructed by apple what to do... I had a great day... I watched President Trump's speech thanks to Newsmax... and spent the entire day watching movies and drinking Irish tea... it was fabulous...

The Washington Post removed an unflattering tidbit about Vice President Kamala Harris from a 2019 feature and republished a new version of the story that is friendlier to the Democratic media darling -- but eventually restored a link to the original after widespread backlash. Reason reporter Eric Boehm noticed the edit and took the Post to task in a scathing breakdown of the situation. [SNIP] Harris bizarrely compared the rigors of the campaign trail to…life behind bars. And then proceeded to laugh—at the idea of an inmate begging for a sip of water," Boehm wrote, calling it "an extremely cringeworthy moment" that painted Harris in a negative light.

This going to be hard to live down. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer got a rise out of lawmakers on the Senate floor Friday when he fumbled his words and said that they will have to decide if former President Donald Trump incited the “erection” against the US. “Make no mistake, there will be a trial and when that trial ends, senators will have to decide if they believe Donald John Trump incited the erection against the United States,” Schumer said. Noticing his boneheaded slip-up, he corrected himself and said “insurrection,” but that didn’t stop online wags from roasting him. “Well, sometimes insurrection is a HARD word to pronounce,” one Twitter user wrote.

Google has threatened to remove its search engine from Australia over the nation's attempt to make the tech giant share royalties with news publishers. Australia is introducing a world-first law to make Google, Facebook and potentially other tech companies pay media outlets for their news content. But the US firms have fought back, warning the law would make them withdraw some of their services. Australian PM Scott Morrison said lawmakers would not yield to "threats". Though Australia is far from Google's largest market, the proposed news code is seen as a possible global test case for how governments could seek to regulate big tech firms.

A Tennessee mayor drew criticism for a Facebook message and a picture of the town’s American flag at half-staff on Inauguration Day. “While many critics accused him of trying to incite anger with the post, the mayor insisted that his post had nothing to do with Biden’s inauguration,” the Blaze reported Thursday. In his Facebook message, Robert T. Keeton III, mayor of Bruceton, wrote, “The Town of Bruceton grieves for our Republic and our loss of freedoms. We mourn the victims of the Chinese plague and those that have suffered its depredations.” “We pray that God delivers and restores us and that we do not fall to the clutches of communism.”
