One House Republican predicted Wednesday that as many as half of the House Republican conference might vote to oust Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) as the House Republican Conference chair. Politico’s Melanie Zanona reported that one House Republican not affiliated with the House Freedom Caucus said as many as half of the House Republican Conference may support ousting Cheney as the third-ranking Republican over her support for impeaching President Donald Trump.

WY if you have a recall for your elected officials, implement it. She is an embarrassment to the party and I'm sure the people of WY are fuming. Congress needs to remove her from her position and by the way, remove Kevin McCarthy. He's not much better.

McCarthy is weak, and not very smart. You can see it when he talks in an interview. Now that he’s got power and controls fundraising for House members, he’ll hold onto that for dear life.

I imagine Swamp Rat McHenry will stand up for Liz, but I have some hope the others will do the right thing. Demand your GOP Congress Members get right. A harmful division exists in the house Republican conference if Representative Cheney is removed, or otherwise. Republicans are engaged in a fierce internal battle, meanwhile, as always, democrats stick together like a ball of snakes, and are cheerleading as the House GOP self-destructs.

And #10, Republicans NEVER stick together. I don’t remember the last unanimous decision on anything. Liz needs to go. (What is wrong with her?!) and why can’t Jim Jordan be Leader?

Here's what bothers me, We would have never won the 2020 election, almost convincingly enough to get Trump a second term, without the combination of the squishy republicans we loath, principled constitutional patriots and the third element that followed Trumpism as a movement. And that still wasn't enough. As much as I hate to admit it, I think reforming the republican party first is a faster path to reforming the republic than forming a new entity.

All ten should be stripped of their leadership roles AND committee assignments. If they want a committee assignment, they should call up Nancy Pelosi and have her give them an assignment from the Democrats' side of the aisle. Again, the lesson taught by my high school history teacher back in 1972 still rings true. Never underestimate the stupidity of the national Republican party. RIP, Mr. Shriver.

The wimpy Republicans should remove Chaney from their leadership, as the establishment Republicans, who have been Trump’s most clandestine and sometimes overt political enemies since he arrived in DC, otherwise are bound to be to be hit with extreme political blowback from the 75 million or more Trump supporters, who are not going to continue to vote for establishment Republicans who maintain a leadership cabal that goes along with assisting the partisan Democrats accomplish their political dirty work. In that respect, even if Trump does not run for President in 2024 he could well politically damage individual establishment Republican politicians by just campaigning against them in the 2022 and 2024 Republican State level primary elections. Remember in the 2020 general election in Wyoming, Trump got more votes than Chaney.

All who voted to impeach the president or voted "no vote" be primaried 3. Start looking TODAY for viable candidates to primary those who need to lose their office 4. Censure Eric Swalwell for his sexual conduct with Fang Fang I told her I would call her back if I could think of anything else. I'm 100% confident my Congressman, Markwayne Mullin, agrees with me. #10, you are absolutely right that Dims stick together "like a ball of snakes." But Democrats have no idea what true friendship is. Think about the thugs that ride together when you watch an old western. They have ego alliances. When someone on the outside is on to those thugs, they begin to fall apart. The Dems are the same way. They become a "circular firing squad." They can't and don't stick together. They are cockroaches who scatter when the lights come on. And we need to keep this in mind if we are going to overcome their tyranny. Be honest with your friends. Distinguish between a friend and an acquaintance. Be bold and courageous. And don't be like Judas who was focused on money, and don't be like Peter who denied Jesus when the going got tough.

FBI placed a warning of “armed protests” being planned at all 50 state capitols and Washington, D.C., on Inauguration Day. Security has been stepped up in Washington following last week’s violent riot at the U.S Capitol where a mob of pro-Trump supporters stormed the building to prevent Congress from certifying the election. Citing “credible threats” against the popular landmark, the National Park Service has shut down the Washington Monument. However, the riots that happened on Jan. 6 are still causing concerns about the safety of the capitol as well as accusations by some GOP members that wasn’t only Trump supporters that stormed the Capitol.

Pelosi announced Sunday in a letter that the House of Representatives would move to impeach Trump just 10 days before his presidential term is over because he “represents an imminent threat” to “our Constitution and our Democracy.”

Even far-left PolitiFact reviewed Sullivan’s video of the mob into the Capitol and Babbitt’s shooting. "Our president is not above the law," Biden wrote. "Justice serves the people — it doesn’t protect the powerful." But the president-elect has stopped short of calling for Trump’s impeachment. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., called on the president to "immediately" resign. She said alternatively, Vice President Mike Pence could invoke the 25th Amendment, or else she promised the president would be impeached in the House.   CORRECTION*

The Wyoming Republican Party on Wednesday published a list of criticisms it received from constituents about House Republican Conference chair Liz Cheney’s (R-WY) vote to impeach President Donald Trump over last week’s deadly riots at the U.S. Capitol.“There has not been a time during our tenure when we have seen this type of an outcry from our fellow Republicans, with the anger and frustration being palpable in the comments we have received. Our telephone has not stopped ringing, our email is filling up, and our website has seen more traffic than at any previous time,” the Wyoming GOP said in a statement. “The consensus is clear

National Guard members are also being sent to Washington, DC, from as far away as Hawaii to provide security, with Maj. Gen. Kenneth Hara, the Aloha State’s adjutant general, saying the request for troops came Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. A Defense Department official said as many as 200,000 Guard members have been authorized to protect the Jan. 20 ceremony, ABC News reported.

A strong majority of GOP voters view themselves as Republicans rather than devotees of President Trump's Make America Great Again, or "MAGA," movement, according to a new Just the News Daily Poll with Scott Rasmussen. Among the Republican voters, 74% consider themselves "more of a Republican," while 19% see themselves as "part of MAGA nation." The numbers could reflect the fallout from last week's Capitol riot, which has been broadly characterized as being led by Trump's MAGA devotees, a key part of the president's base, helped him become president in 2016. However, there is no similar, previous polls to compared percentages.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) expressed concern that her own colleagues in Congress might have shared her location to the mob of fanatic Trump supporters while they were storming the Capitol last Wednesday. Ocasio-Cortez's remarks comes as other Democrats have sounded off on the possibility that some GOP members of the Congress abetted the rioters as they stormed the building. Lawmakers were instructed to head for a designated 'extraction point' to seek protection from the chaos, but AOC asserted that that wasn't really an option 'because there were QAnon and white-supremacist sympathizers and, frankly, white-supremacist members of Congress in that extraction point

CNN’s Don Lemon isn’t just the dumbest man on television, like President Trump has said, he’s also one of the most dangerous. While his gaslighting in the past has no doubt inspired left-wing kooks around the country to at least consider violence against conservatives and supporters of the president, his recent rhetoric is going to get someone killed one of these days – and when it happens, he needs to be held legally accountable for it.During his nightly hand-off with another of the network’s lunatics, Chris Cuomo, on Wednesday, Lemon proclaimed that anyone and everyone who voted for the president – that would be nearly 75 million Americans at last count

Far-left political pollster Frank Luntz had his day ruined when he was forced to tell Fox News about the results from his latest focus group. While Luntz was hoping that Trump supporters had jumped ship, that couldn't be further from the truth. In fact, Luntz's focus group found that more than 91% of Trump's supporters would vote for him again (we think that number is much higher). In addition, Luntz said that 78% of Trump voters believe that the election was stolen (as they should)."91% of those who voted for Donald Trump on Election Day would vote for him again. Republican Sen. James Lankford apologized to his black constituents after joining onto an effort spearheaded by Sen. Ted Cruz to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election, and told them he had a 'blind spot' about how it looked. Lankford did not vote to overturn the election results but only changed his mind after the MAGA mob stormed the Capitol.(Snip) In his letter Lankford said he had not realized that attacking the integrity of election results from Atlanta, Philadelphia and Detroit, all majority minority, would be seen as an attack on black voters.
