Back in 2019, it was a huge revelation that the president has to “hide” his phone calls from much of his own administration to reduce leaks. This move might seem to indicate guilt—and is certainly being spun that way by Democrats and the media—but for the knowledge that the president isn’t wrong to mistrust his own workforce.
Federal employees are anything but neutral administrators of the law. Fully 95 percent of donations from those working for agencies went to Hillary Clinton in 2016.

These are the type of Federal Employees who give the rest of us a bad name. When I started my career back in 1989, I took an oath of allegiance to the Constitution, not to any particular President. I have done my job under Bush 1, Clinton, Bush 2, Obama, and Trump. And starting Wednesday, i will do my job under Biden (or whoever it is controlling his puppet strings). These employees took the same oath I did, and to be actively plotting to sabotage the head of the Executive Branch is a violation of their oath and an affront to the Constitution. They should be prosecuted to the fullest. As for term limits for Federal workers, dumb idea. There's something to be said for institutional knowledge, and if the government were having constant turnover and new people constantly coming through the door needing to be trained, it would be utter chaos (more than it is already). People in political positions change with each administration, which is a good thing, but having a stable rank and file is also a good thing.

#1, They don't fear the consequences of their actions, because they know there won't be any now. That line has been crossed.

In 1982 the Federal government effectively threw hiring by competitive merit out the window for its professional and administrative career fields. No more objective testing. Those were eliminating too many minority candidates. And through the Reagan and Bush years the "conservatives" used a number of special hiring programs to bypass merit in hopes of convincing young black middle-class and college educated people that they were doing the right thing by them, eliminating structural discrimination. (Sound familiar?) There quickly became no minimum standards. What they got was a flood of liberals who have changed the focus of the civil service to activism and advocacy of special interests. "Competitive examination" was turned upside down to meaninglessness. And this is your government today...

Wonder how many postal carriers ditched mail-in ballots from houses displaying Trump signs and MAGA flags?
Their website claims they have 500,000 employees. 95% are Democrats, and many of them would be characterized as Activist-level Democrats.
They are not totally stupid. They see exactly who is getting sent conservative mail pieces all year long.
If each one ditched 10 Mail-In Trump ballots, that alone could throw any election.
And those that are Activists would be given 'Walking Lists' provided by The Party which identify each homeowner on a scale of 1-5 for political affiliation.
Term Limits for ALL Federal employees. Four years/life max. And apply Fairness Criteria, so the % of Democrats is equal to % of Americans.

The author makes repeats a few old wives tales, repeated by the sick, lame, and lazy about the federal workforce and did not think through the solutions he stated as absolutes. He fails to recognize that not all federal agencies share the same terms of employment and that there are many classes of federal employees. I was a senior employee of the FAA when it adopted a complete, comprehensive system for personnel and contract management, as well as job classification and the elimination of the old GS "step increase" pay system, that provided salary increases as a function of longevity, opting for a merit based system that encouraged private sector experience in its higher level positions.
FTA: "It takes up to two years to fire a federal worker, even those convicted of felonies while on the job."
This is absolutely not true. With uninformed supervision and shoddy administration, it may be common but is by no means absolute or even the norm in some agencies. I've had experience with employees immediately removed from the workplace and terminated from federal service within 90 days of an actionable event.
FTA: "Term limits for all federal employees. After 5 years you have to leave and get a new job." This misguided declarative solution would decimate the military and senior executive service and ensure that senior leaders of federal agencies would be "Schedule C" political appointees and not the knowledgable and experienced. What good would it do to recruit the experienced and successful from the private sector only to cut them loose after five years? It is lunacy to advocate for a journeyman employee to be in a policy-making position within a federal agency.
FTA: "They should be charged and arrested for their actions of trying to damage the Government. It’s called Treason." No, it is not called Treason except by the ignorant. Like most federal crimes, Treason has a special definition (elements of the offense) in the U. S. Code and the idea that Treason, a war-time offense, is trying to damage the Government is a common falsehood that gets wrongly bandied about by the uninformed, especially among democrats.

Over my 30+ year Federal career, I watched Federal employees become more and more liberal. By the time I retired several years ago, most of my coworkers were flaming leftists. One political appointee called career Feds "WeBees" - "we be here when you came, we be here when you leave." Sums it up well. All they had to do was drag their feet until Trump left office and then continue their march to socialist nirvana.

These people should have been fired and blacklisted from ever working for the government again, in any capacity.

And in all likelihood, overpaid swamp critters residing in the MANY feral agencies that lack any Constitutional validity to exist at all. Which describes the vast majority of all fed operations. Yes, no doubt some are honest, diligent, and industrious. Doing things that don't need to be done. And, often, looking down their shoots at the "mere electeds" and at the deplorables they lord ot over. So long as these agencies, wrongly empowered by the Administrative Procedures Act, exist at all, such parasites will populate them.

They are liberals and Democrats. They never seem to be held accountable for their crimes. In eternity maybe, but I’d like to see a little justice on this side of eternity.
