Seattle-based Amazon.com, Inc. has asked a federal judge to deny a request to reinstate the cloud-service account for conservative social media network Parler. The company's lawyers on Tuesday claimed Parler shrugged off police violence content on its site before and after the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
The Seattle Times reported that Parler filed a lawsuit Monday against Amazon claiming a breach of contract and antitrust violation after its account was suspended. Attorneys for Amazon said the case was not about suppressing speech but about what they called Parler’s “demonstrated unwillingness” to remove content that threatens public safety.
Parler claims Amazon colluded with Twitter to “kill Parler’s business."

Democrats will agree that Jeff Bezos in no way holds too much money and power. Clever how the media outlets channeled Occupy Wall Street and the focus on "the 1%" to demonize WHITE people instead.

Over the years I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on Amazon. That ended Monday. Never again. I will use their site to search for what I need and then buy it directly from the source.

Parler is not a right-wing app. But facts don't matter to Democrats and leftist propaganda purveyeors, but I repeat myself. Parler is a platform available to all without the censorship of left-wing apps like Twitter and Facebook.

Amazon has made a claim. The judge should issue a stay order to continue the contracts in place, until the parties resolve their issues in court, or otherwise.

I ordered a book the other day, and went to a great deal of extra effort to make sure that I did NOT use Amazon.
Done with these traitors.

I love my kindle and I have a subscription with Amazon for unlimited reading. I’ll give it up and go back to hardcover if necessary but does anyone here have a replacement suggestion?

Use Amazon to search for items, but buy elsewhere. I've been doing that for some time now. They don't want us as customers. Many of the merchants are happy to have your business without having to pay the Amazon commission. They'll catch on, eventually, and stop you, but soon none of us will have the money to spend anyway.

Amazon gives an entrepreneur an opportunity to create a new business and compete against Amazon. I do hope some entepreneurs create a new platform and compete. Beat they do very well.

Yeah, I think I'm though dealing with Amazon. After, collaborating with nazis is supposed to be a bad thing, isn't it? I'm sure I can find other places to buy what I want, without having to deal with fascists.

My leftist daughter said, months ago, that she was seeking other alternatives to amazon.
