The Consequences Of The Capitol Assault

Original Article

A little over a decade ago, I was tear-gassed for the first time. It was the first day of September in the Twin Cities, and the anti-globalist, anti-war protesters were milling about with giant papier-mache heads of the people they hated. Mark Hemingway was there. My future wife and mother of my child was inside. It was painful. Afterward, I left and set up my laptop at a nearby rooftop bar and had the best Guinness I’ve ever ordered in my life.

This is the article that Rush read today. It is excellent. Everything I was thinking, all in a neat package.

From the end of the article: "And that shouldn’t give people a lot of hope, considering that four years after his election and two weeks before his departure, the only person they’ll apparently listen to is still Donald Trump. I actually find that comment insulting. Does the author forget that we are God-loving people? If there are thoughts that I put Donald Trump before God, there is another guess coming. I do not vote for Democrats because they are trying to take God out of society and believe in abortion big time. I am truly saddened by what took place on January 6th but, again, why is Donald Trump solely to blame and accused of inciting rioting? After November 3, we found out that Republicans were not being let in to survey the election process. State legislatures were doing nothing as well as court systems. They have gone to GREAT lengths to not take a look at fraud and deception which makes me believe they are guilty. I believe Sidney Powell that Dominion played a role in all of this but American voters wanted some relief. After all, Scott Walker and Tony Evers election faired out the same way. All of sudden, at the midnight hour, three to four bags came in for an Evers win. I have never believed Evers won fair and square. I don't believe that Biden won fair and square especially when admitting to extensive voter fraud. We have had to put up all summer long with murders, businesses being ripped apart, statues being torn down and an attorney general that looked the other way. Including Hunter Biden. Nope, Democrats, liberals, and Never Trumpers incited all of this. . .

There is a VIDEO that shows the Capitol Police OPENING the doors to the Capitol Building and just letting the protesters enter with ZERO resistance. That is apparently a different area than the video where someone is whacking at a window. So, how can one honestly call this an ASSAULT when the DOORS were OPENED by the Police to let people in?

There is some good analysis in the article, but like so many others it assumes without all the facts that the "rioters" were Trump supporters and not leftist infiltrators. And don't forget that the "breach" of the Capitol began before the President finished his speech. Thus, not likely people urged by him to go to the Capitol and protest. Another point. I find it interesting that it seems impossible to find what Trump actually said to incite this "riot."

Only halfway through and I have to stop to say that people were peeing on trees because all the portable toilets were barricaded!!! My pastor was there. He said it was a friendly crowd that shared bottles of water and snacks, and then helped a man help his wife who needed to pee so badly vy giving them their large signs to set up a barrier to give her privacy. So that is a cruelty that was imposed upon that crowd.

Second post:there is video showing the police letting them in and there is video of physical fights as they push through the metal barricades, against police who are fighting to keep them back. So both things happened. The main point here that the Capitol Police are not up to the job was totally on display on wednesday. My thought was that Any evil terrorist or enemy of the country could see that as well - they were untrained and hapless. Get Bernie Kerik down there to fix that asap.

They think we are going to change our minds. That is not going to happen. If Trump creates a new party, it will have tens of millions of voters IMMEDIATELY, and I will be one of them.

When President Joe Biden announced former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg as his pick for Transportation Secretary, many scratched their heads. Why would he tap someone who oversaw a small budget, in a small town, in the Midwest for such a roll? That puzzle is finally coming together. It turns out that Biden favors Buttigieg's transportation views, specifically the idea that America should move away from the gas tax and instead opt into a tax based on the number of miles a person travels.

As we reported two days ago, Joe Biden completely made no sense when he was trying to explain the Wuhan coronavirus relief bill. It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
