Ken Osmond, who was best known for his role as Eddie Haskell on the comedy series “Leave It to Beaver,” has died, Fox News can confirm. He was 76. "He was an incredibly kind and wonderful father," Osmond's son Eric said in a statement obtained by Fox News on Monday. "He had his family gathered around him when he passed. He was loved and will be very missed."

Comments:

The kid we all loved to hate. Everybody knew an Eddie Haskell, and nobody could have portrayed him better. He grew up to be a decorated L.A. police officer. I guess Eddie turned out okay. R.I.P.

We’ve never been perfect, but no one can deny we were a much better people, and country, during the much sneered-at “Leave it to Beaver” era. R.I.P. Ken.

That was such an innocent era. If the show had been on today it would have a gay character and would be titled, "Leave It, Its Beaver."

Ken, Rest in Peace, sir. You played a great part in the show. My real name is also Ken and I watched every episode of Leave It to Beaver. Back then, I just wanted Beave to pop you one right in the schnozola and "give you the business". But, I was just a kid then. As an aside, my wife knows of no other woman on the planet who has ever vacuumed her living room rug while wearing a formal dress and stiletto high heels. But, June, sure did.

I worked with Officer Osmond when I was a Morning Watch (Graveyard) record clerk at Central Division, downtown on the ground floor of the old Parker Center (1974-76). He was very funny and very unassuming. The total opposite of Eddy Haskell, which tells you something about his acting abilities. He was really a good egg about his "claim to fame." As a Skid Row foot beat officer the majority of his bookings were drunks and ladies of the night, also usually drunk. In the cold light of the Watch Commander's office during booking his partner would ask the arrestee if Officer Osmond looked familiar. Generally, they were confused and the partner would reveal their brush with stardom, "You've been arrested by Eddie Haskell." Ken would confirm by saying, "You look lovely today Mrs. Cleaver." The looks and reactions were priceless. I'm so thankful I got to know the man and the officer... and see the actor ply his craft. May the Perpetual Light shine upon him.

Mr. Osmond spent years as a LA police officer and was shot on the job, fortunately protected by a bullet resistant vest. As a kid, I always hoped that Eddie would get a real comeuppance one day on the show....never did.

Don't recall much of Leave it to Beaver from my childhood. But looking through Osmond's page on Wiki, I was struck by just how much his 2014 photo resembled Hillary's philandering husband.

Nearly three weeks after a Norfolk Southern train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, former failed mayor and current Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg finally visited the town today and took a tour of potentially contaminated areas. It didn't go well. During a press conference on scene, Buttigieg was repeatedly asked why it took so long for him to show up and about his rhetoric downplaying the situation. Buttigieg, in typical fashion, attempted to blame shift with a false narrative about deregulation under President Donald Trump.

When President Joe Biden announced former South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg as his pick for Transportation Secretary, many scratched their heads. Why would he tap someone who oversaw a small budget, in a small town, in the Midwest for such a roll? That puzzle is finally coming together. It turns out that Biden favors Buttigieg's transportation views, specifically the idea that America should move away from the gas tax and instead opt into a tax based on the number of miles a person travels.

A little over a decade ago, I was tear-gassed for the first time. It was the first day of September in the Twin Cities, and the anti-globalist, anti-war protesters were milling about with giant papier-mache heads of the people they hated. Mark Hemingway was there. My future wife and mother of my child was inside. It was painful. Afterward, I left and set up my laptop at a nearby rooftop bar and had the best Guinness I’ve ever ordered in my life.

The grisly scene where a top Bill Clinton adviser was found hanged from a tree with a gunshot wound to his chest has finally been revealed nine months after he died.  But the sheriff's report into Mark Middleton's mysterious death raises more questions than answers as it rules he died by suicide – despite no sign of the weapon that killed him. Middleton, 59, was found dead last May at the Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas, an hour west of Little Rock.   Release of the report was held up after members of his family petitioned a judge. They were worried that pictures from the gory scene would be made public.

Joe Biden acquired his job through a legal process. However, he did not earn enough verifiable votes to justify the certifications in six key swing states. This issue is addressed in my new book, but here is some of my reasoning. I have limited myself to one example of unverifiable votes for each of those swing states. Arizona At an Arizona Senate Committee hearing on January 24, 2022, we learned that precisely 95 percent of Maricopa County overseas military members (and their families) voted for Joe Biden. That is an amazing (as in phony) percentage, given that the overall county-wide vote was fairly even between Biden and Trump (51 to 49%).

The White House said Wednesday it moved one step closer to meeting its offshore wind energy goals by announcing the first lease sale for developments in the Gulf of Mexico. President Joe Biden set a goal of having 30 gigawatts of offshore wind installed by 2030, with another 15 GW coming from floating turbine installations by 2035. To reach that goal, the administration said it opened its first lease sale for offshore wind in the Gulf of Mexico. Three lease areas off Texas and Louisiana could support the development of enough wind energy to meet the demands of nearly 1.3 million average households, the White House in a fact sheet.

The Ukrainians have not only held their own, but have managed to liberate a good chunk of their conquered territory. They’ve been buoyed tremendously by a constant influx of Western military aid. I argue here, against a small but vocal conservative faction, that we should continue this aid. There has been plenty of unhelpful hyperbole on both sides of the debate. Prominent pro-Ukrainers have attempted to equate opposition to Ukrainian aid as opposition to democracy itself. Michael Beschloss, NBC’s resident Rent-A-Zinn, referencing members of Congress who didn’t applaud Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s recent speech, and in Stalinist fashion, tweeted “we need to know from them exactly why.”

How is American education going? In at least one blue midwestern state, not well. Nonprofit research organization Wirepoint has looked into Illinois public schools, and their performance deserves less than an “A+.” Among more than 30 institutions of learning, zero students can read at their respective grade levels. As for math, across 53 schools, no students are proficient. The bulk of those underperforming campuses — twenty-two in the case of reading and thirty-three in the case of math — sit within the City of Chicago School District — where taxpayers annually spend between $5,929 and $56,311 per student.

Xylazine — otherwise known as “tranq,” “tranq dope” and “zombie drug” — is wreaking havoc in major cities across the country with its devastating effects: It can literally rot the user’s skin. The substance, which seemed to first appear in Philadelphia before migrating west to San Francisco and Los Angeles, was used for cutting heroin, but, most recently, it has been discovered in fentanyl and other illicit drugs. While approved by the Food and Drug Administration for veterinary use, xylazine, a non-opioid, is not safe for humans,

The U.S. State Department, which is currently trying to revive the defunct Iran Nuclear deal, believes that the U.K. can play a key role as interlocutors and fears that role would be undermined by designating the IRGC a terror group, according to a new report from The Telegraph. The move would harden the U.K.’s position against Iran and deal a blow to international talks, supported by the Biden administration,
