Nikki Haley appears to jockey for potential
2024 run, delivers Trump a harsh but
carefully crafted rebuke

In what’s certain to be seen as early jockeying for a potential 2024 presidential run, former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley drew a clear line of separation with President Trump while taking care not to draw Trump’s ire or offend his millions of supporters. In a speech to the Republican National Committee on Thursday, Haley said Trump’s words and actions since the election “will be judged harshly by history,” according to The Washington Free Beacon. The former Republican governor of South Carolina served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018 in the Trump administration and didn’t hold back in commenting on what has transpired since the election

The idea that there will be a national Republican candidate for President in 2024 that matters is laughable. They are fighting for Grandma's silverware. The Republican Party is dead. Like a COVID patient, from any number of co-morbidities. In 2024, the Republic Party will be fighting for more votes than the Green Party. I changed to Independent earlier this week. I am a constitutional conservative. I did not leave the Republican Party. They left me.

Yes Nikki because mean tweets are the worst things that any President cold do. You are pathetic and your day in the sun is way past over. Four years of pure abuse heaped on President Trump, his family, associates and supporters and you dare harangue us about his demeanor and how he spent the last weeks of his Presidency? I'm sure you can find some flag offensive to your sensibilities to cry over. Go away.

FTA: "Haley said Trump’s words and actions since the election “will be judged harshly by history” No, Nikki Haley will be judged by those words. Does she really think that now, after the Big Steal, that it was only about Trump? Does she think that they will make an exception next time and let her win? The President had every right, and a duty to all Americans, to call for an investigation into the obvious in your face fraud that was perpetrated on the people of this country. I know that I will NEVER again feel comfortable voting in a national election again. For most of my life I had to live with the fact that, with few exceptions within my own county, my vote in Illinois elections is useless. These Republicans that jumped ship immediately, will never get my support for anything. Their disavowal of Trump is a disavowal of all of us who supported him. We all know who they are.

Nikki, thanks for the well-crafted RINO-isms. As for me, seeing what the Democrats and enemedia have done and are now amping up even more, if there ever is another election I'm going to look for a candidate that is more like Attila the Hun... Trump was pretty good but underestimated his enemies. Attila won't make the same mistake.

She nearly tripped over her own Confederate flag scurrying to cave. There was plenty of space and opportunity to discuss that issue, and I'm not opining on whether it should stay or go. My point is she wasn't going to take even a minute of heat, or listen to her constituents. I think she did a good job at the UN, but that's the most I can give her credit for.

I will not vote for someone who is in the pocket of China or who is for open borders and too much immigration. Not sure how any Republican can ever win again. If you take all of the votes that President Trump received, then divide that by 1/2, that is still probably more votes and support any Republican candidate will receive legitimately (that’s before the fraud). Folks like me will NEVER vote for any Republican or Democrat again. They have screwed the pooch.

I will be forever grateful to President Trump for (1) saving us from a Heb! nomination, and (2) a Hillary! presidency. He's been the most maligned president of my lifetime, and did nothing to deserve the bile thrown at him every day of his presidency. As for Ms. Haley, the GOPe can nominate her (or just about any other of their favorites), but I won't be voting for their choice. I've voted in every presidential election (and most primaries and off-year elections) since I was 18, but right now, I'm on the fence about both 2022 and 2024. I may pass on both.

“Judged harshly by history”... really? Trump was attempting to dismantle the rigged electoral process in national elections. Nikki is not delusional. She knows she can rake in innumerable dollars in a useless campaign, lose, and keep all those donations. Surely she understands the left has perfected a leftist-results-only election operation. Surely. Or, maybe not...but regardless, she has effectively trashed any of my respect for her.

Re: #18 - Although a shrinking minority, not everyone (yet, anyway) on this site plays for the cheap "likes" by making over-the-top pledges of fealty to a mortal human or by gleefully shunning everyone who may have disagreed with an action or non-action of President Trump. Conservatives have historically thought for themselves and avoided shunning those whose thoughts and opinions deviate from an orthodoxy based on a politician's personal popularity. Perhaps I missed the "Your kind are no longer welcome here" notice but I did notice a few posters proclaim this week that they will only provide political/monetary support to whomever Trump tells them to support, which generated some of those increasingly formulaic, all-important, "likes."

It's nice to see some still have faith that there is any 'normal' left in the world, but please buy a clue. Trump won huge, but it didn't mean a thing. They know they have us. They are pretty confident nothing will happen to them, even when they change the vote right in front of you. See those numbers? Watch this. Now, do you think you matter? Join the rats vote against them, who cares? The chosen puppet is President, ask Bernie who it works. To make sure you get it they picked the worst candidate ever. The most corrupt with fresh examples of how corrupt. The stupidest ever, with daily quotes to prove it and the most physically messed up since Wilson was in a coma. You think there is any chance there will be some massive uprising to change that? The media has millions in a forever stupor. They aren't going to wake up and the voting thing has been gone since the mechanical booths were destroyed. There is only ONE thing that will get the Great Experiment going again and that is a grinding, horrible, unbelievable, Depression/Reset that forces everyone to make an absolute choice of dying on their feet or their knees. There is an old quote that society is 3 meals away from anarchy. With biden 'leading' us and the Deep State thinking they are Gods, we have an excellent chance of finding out how that works. NO rational, decent, brave, smart, leader from the right will enter the W.H. and lead a reform administration in the next election, NONE. It is simply not possible. We have a lot of suffering to do before we can begin to rebuild what has been destroyed. IF we ever get that chance. This isn't political, this is about surviving a cruel, insane world that is now upon us. You can disagree and Heaven knows I wish I could see an alternative to this bleak vision, but look at the facts. Hope has led us astray. Forget hope, commit to actions. Actions you never thought you would have to do and which may not work, but will be necessary.

I'm remembering this former Governor removing the Confederate flag was the beginning of the divisive struggle in this country. ...Just can't forget that she had a part in starting the current political dilemma challenging America the Beautiful. After that, statues of historic national heroes came down, cities were burned and lives were senselessly lost. Now that snowball effect of division has engulfed our nation's Capital. She won’t win in 2024 as the Democrats by then will have perfected more ways to tilt the election in their favor probably by throwing out federal money to the States to put in place election procedures like mass mail in voting with no identity verification through insecure ballots mailed to every address in the State. One thing is for sure, if she ever gets to the White House she will need a friend, so she should get a dog, as that would be the only individual being outside her human family members that she would be able to trust there.

Since announcing his candidacy for President in 2015, Donald Trump has dominated the national news cycle — largely to the benefit of legacy media companies. As a growing amount of their airtime centered upon their hatred of the businessman turned politician, many witnessed sharp increases in their audience sizes. The New York Times, for instance, saw more subscriptions in the last three months of 2016 than all of 2015 combined. During election week in 2020, CNN saw a 135% increase in viewership over the first week of November 2019. After the inauguration of President Biden, however, legacy media saw double-digit drops in their viewership.

‘Trump supporters are deplorable cult members’ – Hillary Clinton Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton trashed Trump supporters as cultists and said she just doesn’t understand Donald Trump’s popularity. Hillary Clinton also praised RINO Rep Liz Cheney for supporting the Democrats’ second impeachment of Donald Trump. “It is really troubling to see the Republican Party turn themselves into a cult and basically pledge allegiance, not to the United States of America, but to Donald Trump,”

Democrats call their current massive spending bill a "COVID relief" bill, but the half-trillion-dollar bailout of state governments has nothing to do with COVID-19 relief. Plenty of states are doing poorly fiscally, but generally, this has nothing to do with the pandemic and everything to do with their own mismanagement. This was a disputed point back in the spring, but no more. The numbers are in. The coronavirus has not left most states struggling for revenue the way people originally expected. The Congressional Budget Office is anticipating 4.6% economic growth in 2021. That surge, which will come along with the lifting of coronavirus restrictions, will serve as its own stimulus package

In what might not surprise anyone, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is the most unpopular elected official in the country. A new survey from the National Republican Congressional Committee found that Republicans are in a strong position to take back the House in 2022, in part because Pelosi is so unpopular in every “key” subgroup, including women, Hispanics, and union households.Breitbart noted: The survey identified the 80-year-old speaker as the “most unpopular elected official in the country,” scoring a 52 percent unfavorable rating and 41 percent favorable rating. The unfavorable rating includes 45 percent who view Pelosi as “very” unfavorable.

What is happening right now on the border and within the United States regarding illegal immigration is being misrepresented by the Biden administration and much of the media. Most nightly television broadcasts do not even mention the chaos on the border, what is causing it and what the government is doing in response. When they do, they merely copy the administration’s talking points that are inaccurate and misleading. There is currently a surge at the border. Border Patrol is apprehending more than 4,000 people a day. There was one day last week that they arrested over 4,700 people. They are calculating that there is an additional 500-1,000 escaping apprehension daily.

The Department of Homeland Security will designate more than 300,000 Venezuelans living in the U.S. illegally for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) on Monday evening, senior administration officials told reporters ahead of the announcement. The officials said the new designation marks a departure from the Trump administration’s “unilateral” approach to Venezuela and will last for 18 months, as is customary of TPS designations. The move marks one part of the Biden administration’s attempts to have U.S. allies increase pressure on Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro to engage in legitimate negotiations with Venezuela interim President Juan Guaido and the opposition party.

It was really bad and it explains why they’re afraid to have him deliver an address to Congress or do any kind of a real solo press conference, because at this point they have to be afraid this is all going to fall apart if he does anything live and this all becomes too obvious to the American people. But there’s only so long that they can hold this off. And it’s getting worse, as video today revealed. Biden was holding an event to announce the nomination

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
