President Donald Trump defended his supporters who stormed Capitol Hill Wednesday, arguing that it was a consequence of his election being stolen. “These are the things and events that happen when a sacred landslide election victory is so unceremoniously and viciously stripped away from great patriots who have been badly and unfairly treated for so long,” Trump wrote on Twitter. [SNIP] The president’s comments about the afternoon protests were first restricted by Twitter from getting retweeted or shared but were later removed entirely.

I was there but late to the capital. I would not concede that trump supporters committed illegal acts. I was so impressed with the crowd. I had never seen such a large and beautiful crowd. I would use the accronym plur for them, peace, love, unity, and respect. It was like a festival attitude. The first i saw any problems was when i got to the capital and there i saw some agitators. One had been in the chamber today and was definately an agitator. He was calling for violence and patriots were yelling back he was on his own.

No..... This is what happens after your supporters have been abused, insulted and assaulted for four years. The stolen election was the match that lit the powder keg. I've wondered aloud for several years when that powder keg would finally blow. And as I've always predicted, when it finally went off, Republicans would get blamed. What these clowns in both parties don't seem to grasp is that by blaming us further won't put out the fire. It will only flame it further. I have every faith that our elected pearl clutching Republicans will tut tut and liberals will demand that we be put down. I have every faith that our elected officials and media will do exactly the wrong things. Just pray that antifa and blm stays home. If they go out, this will escalate very quickly.

Meanwhile the chinese concubine who uses the name Mitch McConnell gets up in front of his fellow traitors in the Senate and pompously condemns the protestors and goes on how we are a country of law and order and this will not be tolerated. These corrupt aholes in Congress ,think this stolen election will be accepted by we dupes and they can go back to looting, stealing the country blind and selling us out to our foreign enemies. Meanwhile Snake Oil Tucker Carlson keeps referring to us as a democracy and not a Republic. He is another one who is firmly in the pay of the chinese and reciting the propaganda lies as directed by Fox and the communist death democrats or is monumentally ignorant of the difference between a democracy and a Republic. One thing is for sure ole' crusading Tucker has not missed one paycheck through this fake pandemic. This is just the beginning fellow citizens of the long, hard fight ahead of us to regain our Freedom. May God Bless us and our Righteous Cause.

I was there too. A lot of people. The mayor gad closed down many roads. And though we prepaid reserved parking , when we go there we were told it was full .. online parking company said that was a lie. We heard Trump speak at the Elipse, we all marched down Constitution Ave, ( the street had been closed down), we got to the Capitol and were peaceful . We were on the capitol steps, tear gas was used on us and the loud smoke bombs. WE hung a very large American flag from the scaffolding that was there ( we hang flags , the other side burns them ), people were on the capitol balcony. We were told there was a 6 PM curfew and to go home, we did.Lots and lots of police and police cars. Big trucks with snow plow attachments were used to block the streets.

As usual, Trump is correct. If the politicians in Congress and State Houses, don't correct the voting rules by eliminating motor voter and mail-in ballots and return to one day voting, this crap will continue. And if they are smart, they will address this cause of the people’s anger.

The incidents happened as supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol and rioted as members of Congress counted the Electoral College votes.
