Capitol placed on lockdown, buildings evacuated
amid protests

The U.S. Capitol Police on Wednesday locked down the Capitol building and evacuated multiple congressional buildings amid increasingly violent protests outside. Buildings being evacuated included the Library of Congress's Madison Building across from the Capitol as well as the Cannon House office building. In an alert sent to Hill staffers, police ordered occupants of the Madison building to "move in a safe manner to the exits" and "close doors behind you but do not lock." Capitol police also told those in the Cannon House building to "take visitors, escape hoods, and Go Kits"

So, now that we are officially a lawless country, President Trump has occupancy rights. What's that thing about possession is 9/10s of the law? President Trump doesn't have to leave the WH or the presidency; he can declare himself President, just like the left has declared the basement freak president. Why not? Lawlessness reigns. Leftists have demonstrated that you have to tear stuff up in order to rebuild.

But, but they have the right to protest, right? They aren't burning anything or attacking law enforcement, are they? I see our so called leaders made sure to run and hide and have hundreds of police protecting them against the peaceful protesters. At least they stopped the count for a while. That's something.

I keep hearing phone calls from inside the Capitol building (e.g., McCarthy with Fox reporter), where the congress critters appear to be under the impression that violence and mayhem is occurring outside...? Can no one tell them that as far as we can see, nothing of the sort is happening? Protestors seem to be standing around, albeit in "forbidden" areas. Can't tell what is going on inside, of course.

Ten months of "mostly peaceful" looting and burning was condoned by the Left. Now they see a taste of what potentially happens when citizens do what their government won't do, uphold and defend the Constitution! I was looking forward to this day and it could be the second shot heard around the world. (figuratively of course) The talking heads on the news are peeing their pants.

WOW! I wonder how many of our Ldotters are in that crowd! Hopefully, we will get a first hand accounting of how things went down tomorrow! I think the moment everyone heard that Pence put out the message that he was not going to stop any electors from being certified, THAT was the moment everyone started to head to the Capitol! It's like they said "I've had it"! Thousands of them! I think they want to show McConnell and Pence what they think of how they handled things. Pence might think he's got a future in Politics, but IMHO he through! Not one single Trump Supporter would vote for him! I'm not sure if he lost his courage, or someone threatened his family or what happened to him, but he sure stuck it to the man who chose him to be his "Best Man" so to speak! Shame on him!

I never heard any of these Congresspeople calling for Antifa or BLM to stop the riots, burning, and threats against people in the cities where they burned down businesses and used guns to threaten the protestors. No, they called it peacefull protests. I just hope no one gets hurt. They keep talking about it being an attack on our democracy; no, it is an attack on our election being stolen by Socialists who hate our Republic.

This is a warning to the Left. We are not going to tolerate their craziness. And what is galling me right now is that there is being said "violence". I guess I can't believe my lying eyes. I do wish all these holier than thou Reps and commentators saying "this is not who we are" and "We are all Americans", and "we must unite!" Where were they when Antifa (only an idea, you know) rioted in D.C., Portland and Seattle with"mostly peaceful" protests? From the movie, "I'm tired as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!"

Americans were pushed to this by both parties. They have it coming and it's been coming for a long time. How long did they think we would stay silent and take whatever they care to dish out? This election was the culmination of years of abuse by a corrupt government who feel they are entitled to rule and to ignore the will of the people. I don't wish for anyone to be harmed or injured but I could not care less about the bed wetting going on with the media and our politicians. Their pathetic whining about the Constitution is now irrelevant. When they had the chance to protect it they didn't bother.

There had to be lousy 'security' if a handful of protesters could breach the building. As to the shootings, 2, perhaps an overzealous guard shot someone. Furthermore, DO NOT let this be pinned on peaceful Trump protesters. I have a feeling that some Soros thugs are behind the 'violence' on the inside. It was organized that way to dirty the president's marches. They have infiltrated our protests more than once. Of course, alphabet soup media will never report facts. That's why that Bow wow @itch, otherwise known as the 'mayor' called for the National Guard when this cow has no right to do so. Well, she studied basket weaving when she was in some dinky college. It started the first time with the Boston Massacre, when British soldiers shot Americans who were 'causing trouble'. So, now is history repeating itself? People "causing trouble" in the Capitol shot? Next will they attempt to take away our firearms as they did when marching on Lexington and Concord? That's where we first fought back.

According to one report, on The Blaze: "a paper notice found in the National Mall indicated that "a national militia" was being organized to "defend the Constitution and the Republic." OK, this sounds like good news. The old story is that our Founding Fathers left us four boxes, to be used in order. The soap box, the ballot box, the jury box and the ammo box. I'm watching Biden chatter away on Fox. I have no sympathy for him or his people. I am sickened when he talks about decency, patriotism, tolerance and rule of law. He may end up inciting things to get worse, because he and the other Democrat fools don't even see they are the source of the trouble, based on far more than their last four years of filth and nonsense. Unfortunately, I fear that the mixture of Leftists in the crowd is going to lead to serious trouble. Confrontation with Nat'l Guard or police may be inevitable, but they need to understand that these protestors may not respond in the same way as the brick-and-run Antifa thugs. Juan Williams chirping in shock and offense makes me physically ill.

Austin, Texas The University of Texas' long-awaited report on “The Eyes of Texas” has found that the school song has “no racist intent," but the school president said athletes and band members will not be required to sing or participate when the song is played at games and campus events. The 58-page report, released Tuesday, was commissioned last year by school President Jay Hartzell after a group of Texas athletes, most notably football players, demanded the school drop the song as part of racial injustice protests. The issue erupted into a tempest of fan outrage when football players chose to leave the field instead of

The worst kept secret in Washington, D.C., is that Joe Biden is suffering from serious age-related cognitive decline. In January, although some people predicated he would remain in office for up to two years before he was gently ushered out to make room for Kamala Harris, I looked at the man and thought he was going to be retired by June. Lately, though, Biden looks as if he’s heading for an April or May retirement. On Monday, he had his worst public appearance yet, when he was unable to remember either the name for his Secretary of Defense or the Pentagon.

Over the weekend, Trump’s attorneys sent a cease-and-desist order to the RNC over their use of Trump’s name in their fundraising efforts. "The only thing we have to fear is...fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.” — Franklin Delano Roosevelt The recent school reopening guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is an example of fears influencing and resulting in misinterpretation of science and harmful policy. In the U.S. 50% of schools are closed and more only partially open. President Biden ran on a campaign indicating that science and data would guide his policy. As we approach the anniversary of the first COVID shut down, this approach is needed more than ever, especially when it comes to schools.

The new order lifting restrictions will allow a number of business categories — including bars, restaurants, gyms and movie theaters — to "resume normal operations" on March 16. Gordon, a Republican, cited the "declining number of active COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations" in Wyoming as well as the state’s "significant success" in a vaccine rollout as reasons behind the easing of restrictions.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Without question, the vast majority of Americans who support former President Donald Trump were angry and frustrated throughout 2020 passed with barely a mention of then-U.S. Attorney John Durham’s criminal investigation into the FBI’s fraudulent “Russiagate” counterterrorism operation directed at his 2016 campaign. In the weeks before the November election, word got out that then-Attorney General William Barr wasn’t going to announce any indictments or even a report on Durham’s investigation because he did not want to influence the outcome. So far, in fact, the only indictment to come out of the Durham probe is that of former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who essentially got a slap on the wrist

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
