In a Christmas Eve message about the state of affairs in the United States, Rev. Franklin Graham called on Americans to pray for President Donald Trump and for our nation, that God will spare us "from the evil that is before us." In the Dec. 24 post on Facebook, Graham wrote, "Our country is in such a mess politically and spiritually. I would like to ask you to especially pray for our nation and our president this weekend." Pray that God’s hand would be on President Donald J. Trump and protect him, and that He would give him wisdom in the coming days," said Graham.
Amen Franklin. At this point, all We have is prayer.

I have a sick feeling that we are about to pay for turning our backs on God almighty. We already know that liberals wan't to turn America into a secular country where people like Barack Obama will dictate our morals instead of the bible. He came right out and said that his thinking had evolved on gay marriage and things of that nature. I sure hope I'm wrong but its not looking very good so far.

“Almighty God, we thank you for Donald John Trump, the 45th President of the United States, and we ask your favor upon him. Bless President Trump we pray, and make him a blessing to our people, to the glory of Your holy name. For Jesus’ sake. Amen.”
“Almighty God, we thank you for countless undeserved blessings and acknowledge we have sinned often, and pray for your merciful forgiveness. We ask for Your protecting hand over our nation, these United States of America.” ~~~ “...if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Amen, OP, and thank you for reminding us and posting this...
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12, ESV)
The Good News is that we know Who wins.
Hebrews 11:1, “... Faith is the assurance of things not seen.”
Continue in prayer and faith...

#2 - If God was ready to chastise the United States for our abandonment of Faith; He would not have put Donald J. Trump in the batter's box and given him to signal to "swing away". As #4 advises, God will heal the land of a people turning their face back to Him. Evidently there were enough faithful patriots through the Obamanation to give Donald Trump the spirit to enter the 2016 presidential race. God has always granted special blessings to the United States and He's not done with us, nor President Trump.
MAGA - One Nation Under God. Stay in prayer. Stay in the Spirit.

From when he came down the escalator, I began to pray for this man. He has withstood all the onslaughts for four years, and yet here we are. The evil forces, and they are EVIL, must be overcome.
Prayer and fasting, a rooting out evil is paramount. Since the end, ection, many we thought we could trust have raised their evil heads from the Swamp. The good thing is, we now know exactly who they are.
Dear God, save our Republic from those who want to destroy it! Protect our President Trump and surround him with Your peace. Save our world from sins so egregious that they cannot be mentioned. Make us obedient to Your Holy Will. Amen.

There is no question that we deserve Divine judgement. We have killed so many unborn babies. We have an entertainment industry that mocks G-d every day. Biden would have been that Divine judgement. But I can't help but remark that The Almighty would not have resorted to fraud to bring this upon us. Biden would have won fair and square. I think that "G-d is not late" in deciding this election.....

I'm afraid the Supreme Being is having a big laugh. He gave us founding fathers with wisdom, the ones who created the greatest document in history, the US Constitution. But despite his grant to us, we, mere mortals, are slowly but surely weakening the foundation of our country, turning into a nation of wanters, not providers.
Where a small minority of individuals will be working for everyone else's benefit.
We are turning into a real time Hunger Games, where the Districts (the 50 states) work for the benefit of Panem (DC). All the members of the UniParty are feeding at the $$$ trough that flows in DC. And the judicial branch condones this behavior.
Ben Franklin was correct, "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." We are the frog who is slowly being boiled by the political elite.

I don't believe our country is Godless as some want us to, but as a poster here suggests, we have to repent. and a good way to do it is to pray and fast. Any churches who want to go along to get along I stay away from. I church shopped, and I have three churches especially where I love to attend mass because their pastor promotes the Presence of Christ. And all those media outlets and politicians who do not know that God is Truth, stay away from them too. Pull the plug and listen to sports on the radio. Nothing else is worth watching. I am stunned on a daily basis how they lie about anything. The latest is the lie that the Democrats initiated the call for the two thousand dollar monies for some relief in a bad economy. Don't contribute to the politicians; don't support the networks. Most of the media and most of our politicians and institutions are comfortable with a Godless nation. Ignore them. Pray on our face and ask God for His mercy and intervention.

Rev. Graham, which evils are you referring to? It's that bad. We need to eradicate each evil one at a time. Suggest we pray to God, our Creator, for ridding ourselves of the deep state and msm evils first and go from there. Or is it too late and we have hit bottom. Despite Bible Prophecy, there is only one direction mankind can go at this stage and that is up.

And for those preparing for morning prayer, Ephesians 6: 10 -18
"Finally, be strong in the LORD and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the LORD's people."

Even the Rev. Graham dare not name the evil. That is the REAL mess we are in. We didn't get here overnight, Nor will we get out that easily. Without repentance there is no deliverance. And mere words uttered when you are in trouble do not signify true repentance. We should be willing to pay or karma will make us do it anyway!

Without the reelection of President Trump the ending of the abomination abortion, the shedding of innocent blood - 60 million unborn children, doesn't stand a chance with Democrat's plans to pack the Supreme Court.
#1 we also still have our God given 2nd Amendment right to bear arms which the Democrats want to end!

Yet, we have the Pope of the Catholic faith congratulating Joe Biden on his win. When Joe Biden made the comment that they have the most extensive fraud system in place, Pope Francis was silent. Now we have the Pope expressing thanks to Joe Biden who won fraudulently, Archbishop (?) Wilton Gregory saying he will continue to give Joe Biden communion, a "turn the other cheek" Democrat views on abortion, and you want me to believe that these people are God-loving or God-fearing (whatever your view of things)?
Yep, we are in the age of The Great Pretend. A lot of people out there who think they can live without God and big government will be an adequate substitute. A government big on taking God out of society, loves abortion, and fraud.

There must first be repentance, and it must start with the church. The United States is not immune from God's judgment. And He always starts with the assembly of believers when He judges any nation.
"For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the house of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?" 1 Peter 4:17

I am sorry to say, but if just one of these two Senators would join House members to oppose the election, I would agree. They won't, because they are frauds like the rest of the Senate. All is needed is one Senator, but all the Republicans are frauds. (please disappoint me just one senator)
Ps. 56: 11- In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do to me.
Ps.118.8- It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
Ps. 146:3 - Put not your trust in princes, nor in man, in whom there is no help.
Prov. 29:25 - The fear of man brings a snare, but whoso puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe.
Please don't forget true prayer in faith must be in accordance to
God's will and purpose.
God did not answer Christ's prayer in the garden, even unto blood because it was His will that He die on the cross.
I don't know what God's will is in this election matter, but I believe America is at a dangerous crossroads with the frauds and evil people in DC.

God may be trying to show us something.
This is more than just the 2020 election. I think God wants to show the people of this nation just how much trouble they are in. Our government is corrupt. It can be bought. We are 27 trillion in debt. God wants to make sure we see all of this.
The nation is being given a choice. We can continue on the path we are on, reap all the consequences, and we will all witness the decline of a once great nation. Or we can turn things around. It will be up to us. Considering how many people are living without God in their lives, it is very likely things will not end well.
Pray to God to open our eyes. Especially our leaders before it is all too late.

#6 knows and serves the same God as I do. I don’t know a god who cannot, nor will not, distinguish between the good men and evil men on Planet Earth. 2000 years ago, His clear message was that all men were worthy of redemption. We have no control over whether or not the evil repent, and setting that standard as a condition of healing for our country is futile. God has always listened to the petitions of the righteous, even to the point of saving entire peoples for the sake of one good person. No, I believe God will hear the cries of the righteous. How and when He will do it, I cannot say. It is not for me to know. I pray that it is soon, as His people grow weary with the heavy burden of watching evil smugly win battle after battle. Many of us are angry at what we perceive to be His unfulfilled promises to those who have faith and invoke His name. I am one of those people. Let us keep our own eyes and God, and not worry as to whether our neighbor does or not. “He did not say: You will not be troubled; you will not be tempted; you will not be distressed. But He said: You will not be overcome.”

I truly believed that 9/11/01 would wake this country up. It did for a few days but then, 7 years later, a Muslim who came out of nowhere was given two terms in which to inflict as much damage as possible on us. He’s on the verge of being back at the helm.
#1 is correct - all we have is prayer. This is the one that I choose to pray...
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. Oh, Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen

Romans 12:12 says "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and steadfast in prayer" KJV we need to pray without ceasing. But when you pray you must believe that God can and will hear those prayers. As far as the issue of we need one Senator to vote with a house member, I believe our Senator from Tennessee Marsha Blackburn will stand with the house member. Please contact her office and voice your concern and approval of her standing with the house member.

I truly love Pastor Graham. He is even more powerful than his late father was if that is possible. Samaritan's Purse and the Salvation Army are about the only charities I would consider donations to. Along with my local VFW chapter. He puts his money where his mouth is, and walks the talk, unlike most of the other television evangelists and shysters who only want power, worldly money and glory.

#31- “...when you pray you must believe that God can and will hear those prayers.” ~~~ Yes, God hears our prayers: “...then I will hear from heaven...” (2 Chronicles 7:14) Jesus taught the disciples to pray, “Our Father...” (Matthew 6:9) Jesus never prayed to anyone but the Father. We offer our worship or prayer to God—God is our authority. Praying to anyone else is idolatry as admonished by the angel who, when he revealed to John what was to come, John wanted to fall down and worship the angel but the angel immediately rebuked him and told John, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets. ... Worship God!” (Revelation 22:9)

Just because you ask God for something doesn't mean God will give it to you. Remember 'let this cup pass from me'? Do you think any of the prayers of us worthless sinners (and I mean quite literally) have greater weight than the prayer of Jesus in Gethsemane? Sometimes what you want to happen is not what is in God's ultimate plan. Do you doubt that Joseph when he was in the well where his brothers had thrown him didn't beg God to get him out of there? And then when God did get him out of the well - only to be sold by his brothers to slave traders - don't you think he he might have thought 'no, wait . . . that's not really what I meant!' But if he had not been sold into slavery in Egypt, there would have been no Moses, no Law, no nation of Israel, no David, no Mary, and ultimately, no Jesus. We cannot possibly fathom what God's ultimate design is (other than Who will ultimately prevail). But we can pray as Jesus did in Gethsemane ". . . nevertheless, not my will but your will be done."
