The mask is off the Turtle and the Republican Senate. According to the Politico, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his lieutenants are warning Republicans not to object when the electors are certified on January 6th. McConnell warned Republican senators Tuesday during a private caucus call not to object to the election results on Jan. 6, according to two sources familiar with the matter. McConnell told his caucus that challenging the results would force Republicans to take a “terrible vote” because they would need to vote it down and appear against President Donald Trump.

Comments:

It's up to us now to step in and not allow this fraud to proceed.

Mr. McConnell: If you allow this charade to run its course and Biden is confirmed - and we lose GA - then the GOP and America as we know it are dead and a Republican will NEVER be elected President. The DemoRATS will have perfected the art of stealing elections.

" terrible vote" because it would be against President Trump???? C'mon man, you conniving bums make deals and money voting against America and her patriots. If a senator stands to voice this American Tragedy down, we'll take note of the traitors that vote against that senator. You had no problem letting the corrupt senator from Utah get his treasonous bill against America passed.

McConnell and the DC RINOs are literally playing with fire. It's becoming very clear that this election smells like dead fish and if we can't trust elected republican officials to back the president then what's the point. I'm a registered republican and my future support of the party rests on the outcome of this debacle, why should I remain in the party if they can't/won't back their own president? If they can't back the leader of their own party in the face of all this evidence of fraud then it's time for a new conservative party.

Just more of the same from the GOP. Weak. Feckless. Afraid to even recognize that we are in a war to retain our liberty, they are more concerned with maintaining their privileged status-quo. They're the party of NOTHING. Mitch and the gang still don't realize that the 70-80 million who are outraged at the theft of this "election" won't return to business-as-usual. We're done with their everything- is-just-a-political-maneuver BS! This is about whether our children and grandchildren will live in freedom or not, and we're no longer willing to watch them play their DC games while the totalitarians wreak havoc on our rights. If this was simply a question of adherence to Trump or the Party, I maybe could agree with McConnell, but since apparent rampant fraud is being brushed off, even by the Supreme Court, without any investigation (the Wall Street Journal, by the way, has not even mentioned the Swalwell business anywhere in its pages, even with any number of Republican Senators asking him to step down---THAT isn't newsworthy?) I look upon McConnell as a politician, not an honest man.

Everyone, what we need is a Constitutional Amendment specifically dealing with the issues we've had in the voter machines. 1. Same day, on site, voting unless military or state department. People working overseas simply must return to their home districts to vote. 2. Sole Exceptions are registered shut-ins: those votes would be collected by a team of observers from both parties: they would only have enough ballots to cover their list of voters. 3. There would be NO ballots available at each voting site, outside of those registered for each voter. If you are moving, you must apply to vote in your new district, and withdraw your ballot in your former voting district. 4. Every voter, to be eligible to vote must show proof of citizenship. No exceptions. This would require a national photo ID, with biometrics, accessible by observers of challenging parties. 5. All states, must Annually update their voter registration lists. Failure to do so requires penalties for responsible voting registration officials, penalties to be accumulative of not less than 6mo. Imprisonment, and $6000 fine per record.(while arbitrary, punishment must be defined or there is no reason to obey) You see where I am going. Legal aliens who have take and passed the citizenship test must register in their home district to vote, no earlier than 6 mo. after they become citizens. Their voter ID would be available at the swearing in ceremony. Im sure other people have good ideas and perhaps a way to put it into the legalese. States who failed to provide accurate and annual changes, could have their Electoral college votes withheld.

theory about Trump and Turkey

Sen. Mitt Romney delivered perhaps the most thorough Republican rebuke of President Trump’s Syria withdrawal Thursday, calling Trump’s abandonment of the Kurds there “a bloodstain on the annals of American history.” But while that line will get a lot of play, there’s something else Romney said that shouldn’t escape notice. He also floated a theory about how Trump arrived at the decision: that he got bullied into it by Turkey and that he backed down.

If Fox News wants to restore its cable news ratings dominance, changes will have to be visible far lower in its organization than what is being reported. Though I was angry over its election night coverage and have been dismayed at the behavior of a number of its on-air personalities, I take no joy in the ratings crisis that seems to be engulfing Fox News. For all its faults, its reach, resources, and stable of outstanding talent like Tucker Carlson make it an essential voice
The Capitol Hill Riot Was Pelosi’s Fault,

The Capitol Police have over 2,000 sworn officers. A police force dedicated to protecting Capitol Hill has more personnel in its service than the police forces of most of the country. Congress' private cops are the 19th largest police force in the country. It’s a larger force than the police forces of Atlanta, Baltimore, Denver, or Milwaukee with a massive $460 million budget. It’s the only legislative federal force in the country that is answerable exclusively to Congress. While Democrats advocated defunding the police, their private police force budget shot up from $375 million in 2016 to $460 million in 2020. After the Capitol Hill riot, expect it to go higher. Much higher.

A group of students at Harvard University are demanding that the degrees earned by Trump allies be revoked as punishment for their political opinions.“Harvard must revoke the degrees of alumni whose incendiary language and subversion of democratic processes—rooted in a history of white supremacist voter suppression—incited the violent insurrection on January 6,” the petition said, which was obtained by Fox Business. “This includes all who have used their platforms to deny the validity of the presidential election. They do not and should not represent a university committed to ‘strengthening democracy’
Moving day approaches- “deep cleaning” of

Pallets of empty cardboard boxes were delivered Wednesday to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Moving day is less than a week away and preparations are underway for Trump’s departure and the Bidens arrival. Before the Bidens arrive, deep cleaning is scheduled to take place in the White House and Jill Biden has plans for a million-dollar bathroom renovation in the East Wing. We are still in a pandemic so it’s reasonable that intense cleaning will happen as one group leaves and another moves into the White House. This year the cleaning that takes place during the transition between two administrations is more intense (and costly) than normally done.

During former President Bill Clinton’s testimony before a grand jury about his Oval Office shenanigans with 22-year-old White House intern Monica Lewinsky, the Philanderer in Chief shrewdly said, in response to a question, “It depends upon what the meaning of the word ‘is’ is.” In Apple CEO Tim Cook’s case, it depends on what his meaning of “that” is. More precisely, in the case of Apple’s de-platforming of conservative-leaning social media site Parler, it matters a hell of a lot what Cook’s meaning of “that” is, when he says of Parler: “We don’t consider that free speech.”

Various left-wing writers (some of them nominally Republican) have been salivating over the prospects of a GOP civil war. Nothing would make them happier than to see Republicans tearing each other apart in a fight over President Trump and the future of the GOP. However, this will not happen. It is a sign of how self-delusional the anti-Trump forces are that they could look at the House of Representatives vote on impeaching President Trump (for the second time) and convince themselves this is the harbinger of a Republican civil war. The House voted 232-197 Wednesday to impeach the president. Every

Several bridges between D.C. and Virginia also will be closed. Businesses have boarded up their windows near the zone of closed-off streets where President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris are set to be inaugurated on Wednesday. This year, for the first time since its inception in 1989, the Armed Forces Farewell event will reportedly not be held for an outgoing president.“The Pentagon, in a break with recent tradition, will not host an Armed Forces Farewell tribute to President Donald Trump. … Two senior defense officials confirmed … Thursday that no military farewell is being planned for the commander in chief,” Defense One reported Thursday. No reason was specified for the break in tradition. It’s also not clear whether the event was canceled by military brass or by the president himself. The latter scenario seems unlikely given his love for the military.

Retired Army General Stanley McChrystal has compared the MAGA riot to the evolution of Al-Qaeda saying in both instances people followed a 'powerful leader' who 'justified their violence', as he warned America is headed for a homegrown insurgency. McChrystal, the former commander of American troops in Afghanistan, said there are terrifying parallels between the birth of the terrorist group responsible for the September 11 terrorist attacks and the violent siege on the US Capitol last week that left five dead and sent shockwaves around the world. Donald Trump has given his supporters 'legitimacy to become even more radical', he told Yahoo News,

Oklahoma Republican Sen. James Lankford apologized to his black constituents for challenging President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, saying that he failed to recognize that his actions casted “doubt on the validity of votes” in majority black cities like Milwaukee, Detroit and Philadelphia. Lankford, who originally joined a group of senators led by Texas Sen. Ted Cruz that said they would object to Biden’s victory unless Congress launched a commission to audit the results, ultimately withdrew his objection after being trapped in the Capitol during the riot on Jan. 6.

President-elect Joe Biden has unveiled a $1.9 trillion relief package that includes a third stimulus check of $1,400, in addition to the $600 direct payment issued last month. But Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts thinks struggling Americans need more cash to weather the ongoing pandemic. Markey called for Congress to pass his proposal of $2,000 monthly stimulus checks in a statement on Friday. "The $1,400 in direct cash assistance is a down payment that will help families make rent, put food on the table, and pay the utility bills after Senate Republicans blocked that additional funding back in December," the
