The federal prosecutor appointed by Attorney General William P. Barr to review whether Obama-era officials improperly requested the identities of individuals whose names were redacted in intelligence documents has completed his work without finding any substantive wrongdoing, according to people familiar with the matter. The revelation that U.S. Attorney John Bash, who left the department last week, had concluded his review without criminal charges or any public report will rankle President Trump at a moment when he is particularly upset at the Justice Department.

US Attorney John Bash appears to be a member of the DS. Make sure his name goes on the list.

Told ya. The fix is in. Some people are just too big to pay for crimes. They are in fact so big that nothing they might do is a crime. So much for equal justice. We live in a banana republic.

President is right. Barr will be remembered as a very ordinary AG. He will be booted out by the next President.

They're going to run out the clock in the hopes that mail in voting gets Biden into office. In which case, this all goes away.

So, this "investigation" is just another coverup, and the guy who did it, just quit and bailed out. How typical of The Swamp Creatures.

To #14 - either mail-in votes, or "Hey! We just found an 18-wheeler full of mail votes that never got counted! One truck in each state that Trump won narrowly. What a coincidence, they're all Biden votes!"

I don't think John Bash investigated anything, so it is not surprising he found nothing.

I always believe the opposite to what the WP says. So this fake news from the WP means they are finding substantive wrongdoing.

I never trusted Barr, he was in charge of the Justice Department during Ruby Ridge, and he knew what was going on. This is why I have serious doubts that anything will ever change. Are there no honest people with integrity to fill these positions? If I am aware of this, certainly President Trump is.

What a slap in the face to Lady Justice. Surprised? Nah. Hopeful? I was a bit. Resigned pretty much sums up my reaction. I don’t like it one bit though. Here we have the elites who care nothing about the law, integrity and justice versus the little guy out here in flyover country who still holds to the principles of equal justice under the law. Are we just a bunch of chumps out here who put our faith in people who do not deserve it? The consequences of this inability to hold individuals responsible for wrongdoing is doing grave damage to the Republic. These empty suits tasked to make sure justice is done are a disgrace to this country.

The authors didn’t get the memo? October 6:
Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas Gregg Sofer will take over his predecessor, John Bash’s, review of the practice of "unmasking," among other investigations, Fox News has learned.
Former U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas Bash, who was tapped by Attorney General Bill Barr earlier this year to review unmasking, resigned from the Justice Department for a position in the private sector Monday and was replaced by Sofer.

President Trump MUST clean house in the DOJ in his next term. This two-tiered justice system must be torn down. The laws must be applied to all parties equally. And if the current leadership in the DOJ won't enforce that, they must be replaced.

#17 -- Democrat vote stealers are getting greedy. At least when pros, like LBJ stole elections, he'd salt in at least one vote for his opponent. The story of Box 13 in Jim Wells County (1948 Dem Senate Primary) is that two hundred votes were added at the end of the voting rolls, all just voting in the Senate primary.
199 were for LBJ. The last one was for his opponent.

So, here we have it. The dims will skate. While this disclosure comes from US Attorney John Bash who left the DOJ last week, the disclosure essentially reflects what AG Barr would also say. What a disgrace and embarrassment for the nation. Meanwhile, Gen. Flynn can't get the dim monkeys off his back. Spygate - the perfect crime.
