President Trump on Wednesday announced he had pardoned his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, ending a three-year legal saga that saw Flynn seek to withdraw a guilty plea for lying to the FBI and a controversial reversal by the Justice Department on his case. Flynn pleaded guilty to a felony in December 2017, admitting that he had misled investigators about details of his conversations with the Russian ambassador during Trump’s presidential transition.

Flynn did not lie to the FBI about anything they did not know as the FBI already had the full transcript of the telephone call in question. So there really was no reason, other than trying to entrap Flynn, for the FBI to interview Flynn. They did that by interviewing Flynn at the White House without following established protocol that required the FBI to notify the White House counsel before any White House staff person was interviewed obviously with an OK from Obama and Biden.
Trump must have known that the Democrat District Judge Sullivan, instead of proceeding to end the case, was going to wait the Trump Administration out, until a cooperative Biden Justice Dept. would give him a wink and a nod to sentence Flynn to a prison term. Instead Trump gave Flynn a Thanksgiving present.

Only question I have is this pardon going to interfere with the huge lawsuits that he is entitled to file? I want him thoroughly reimbursed for all the persecution and attacks on his honor and his family. I want scorched earth, and bodies lying smoldering in his wake. There are lawyers on both sides who deserve nothing less than the worst that Sydney can do, along with disbarment.

I have no doubt this excellent man will be hired by someone, if he hasn't been already, very quickly. Maybe even by a Trump entity.
And if this election is decided correctly (i.e. TRUMP WINS!), he should be put back in the cabinet. Wouldn't that just make the left apoplectic! Popcorn please!!!

I hope General Flynn is now free to speak, and let's it fly.

Now fire Wray put Flynn over the FBI.
That move also frees up Sidney to work exclusively on election fraud.

As glad as I am to see the burden of this injustice lifted from Gen. Flynn, there are a couple of disturbing facets to a pardon:
1) As #7 asks, I believe that without a complete exoneration (which this pardon is not) he is not able
to file against the government;
2) The timing of this pardon seems to imply that Trump expects not to be in office going forward.

The guilty plea was coerced by the FBI as they were threatening to prosecute Flynn's innocent family.

Despite the usual lefty slant by the WaPo regarding the Flynn case, great to see he is finally cleared from the evil left and Judge Sullivan. Now, can somebody reimburse him for his losing his life savings over this travesty.
