Why Did So Many
Americans Vote for Trump?

President Trump’s disastrous mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic probably cost him re-election. Yet it seems mind-boggling that he still won more votes than any incumbent president in American history despite his dereliction of responsibility at a time of a once-in-a-century health crisis and economic devastation.
Why are President-elect Joe Biden’s margins so thin in the states that clinched his victory? And why did the president’s down-ticket enablers flourish in the turbulent, plague-torn conditions they helped bring about?
Democrats, struggling to make sense of it all, are locked in yet another round of mutual recrimination: They were either too progressive for swing voters — too socialist or aggressive with ambitious policies

The fake pandemic did not cost PDT the election. The whole paragraph above is stupid. The question is why did anyone vote for Biden? Riddle US that.

Being completely divorced from reality and residing in a universe of one’s own making is a mandatory prerequisite for the “progressive” mentality.
The mind boggles.

There is not one thing that a democrat president would have done differently, unless that person had chosen to shut down the country indefinitely and completely destroy our economy. None of the shutdowns have stopped the virus so I think it has all been a waste.

President Trump disastrously mishandled the Wuhan Flu to the extent of costing us about zero lives. A calamitous tragedy, to lose no one. A disaster, to have no extra deaths. My God, what was he thinking? Meanwhile Cuomo gets an Emmy for confining folk to nursing homes to make sure they die.
Where does the Times get these air heads?
Do they have a special factory?

Trump handled the Corona Virus well and the New York Times is once again just showing their bias and proving again that they are not a news source.
Why did Trump get so many votes? Because he is the best man for the job, and republicans are too smart to believe anything written in the Times.

Note to the Times. It's the governors of the states who handled the response and the governor of your state botched things up pretty badly.

I always thought that Joe Biden´s "Two hundred thousand people died on your watch" statement during the debates was a slur. It´s a pandemic, Joe! It was caused by the Chinese Communist Party, which has made you a very rich man, tax-free.
Joe Biden has always been a nasty, unimaginative, partisan hack who always toes the Party Line, and he hasn´t mellowed with age. If anything, he´s nastier than ever. Once a smear artist -- remember the confirmation hearings for Clarence Thomas and Robert Bork? -- always a smear artist. Ick!

How long have you got, Will? Aside from being a lying sack of sheep dip, you are a clueless nobody and I doubt you could understand the answer if we decided to provide it to you. What did you do in your former life that caused you to have to work for the dead and dying NYT?

President Trump’s "disastrous mishandling" of the coronavirus pandemic consisted of:
A. Immediately shutting down air traffic from China (esp. Wuhan). Biden would never have dared so irritate his Chinese paymasters. He also reduced traffic from hot spots like Europe and Mexico. Biden would never have bucked the One-World Wonks of the European Union and he certainly would never have shut off the flow of Mexican Democrat voters.
B. Launched "Operation Warp Speed," backed by a guaranteed mega-bulk federal purchase of safe and effective vacine doses. Biden would have still been debating the gender pronouns and genetic composition of the researchers, the test subjects, and the board of directors of the pharmaceutical companies. Prices would be negotianted based on how much they kicked back to Biden, Inc.
C. Urged prudent behavior regarding the Wuhan virus, but considered the societal, mental, economic, and cultural cost of unreasoning fear. Biden consistently and stridently fanned unreasoning fear, hoping to panic and dishearten Americans so they would vote for him out of desperation.
Bulletin for the NYT: Your Alhzheimers candidate did not get more votes than PDJT. Your voter fraud efforts made it appear to the wilfully blind that Biden got more votes. Also, it's one thing to produce propaganda to discredit a sitting President. It takes a special kind of ideologue to believe one's own lies.

NY Times "reporting" has become so egregiously biased, that I simply SKIP any articles with that attribution, regardless of the author.
If enough people do that, such perpetually Left-tilted entities will simply disappear.

Perhaps the author does not know anyone who likes the President. Thus, he might conclude that such dislike is the majority opinion.

Had to post this from February 2011 — it’s supposed to be the actual Pauline Kael quote:
“On Friday, on the New Yorker’s website, the magazine’s film editor Richard Brody offers what may be the first accurate version of the quote I’ve ever seen (I’m assuming it’s accurate because it comes from the New Yorker itself): “Pauline Kael famously commented, after the 1972 Presidential election, ‘I live in a rather special world. I only know one person who voted for Nixon. Where they are I don’t know. They’re outside my ken. But sometimes when I’m in a theater I can feel them.'
Obviously, the paraphrase is far juicier than the original, but actually, if you think about it, the version quoted by Brody is even worse, as it indicates that Kael was actually acknowledging her provincialism (‘I live in a rather special world’) and from its perch expressing her distaste for the unwashed masses with whom she sometimes had to share a movie theater. What this indicates is that, even then, liberal provincialism was as proud of its provincialism as any Babbitt.”

The first sentence is a lie. So why bother to read anything that comes out of this sewer that once was the paper of record. The sentence is written by the DNC and is the mantra of the left but not one of them has said what they would have done differently as a matter of fact everything they did exacerbated the situation. So many people voted for Trump for one reason and one reason only, he tells us the truth, You may not like his delivery but it is the unvarnished truth. The nations of the world have been taking advantage of us and these petty wars are not the answer to our problems.

I have two -better- questions for the NYSLYMES:
1) Why did so many DEAD People vote for Biden?
2) Why did -what was is....15,000?- people vote ONLY for Biden, and NO ONE of them bothered to vote for ANYONE down-ballot.
Also, how did ALL of them fill in the oval PERFECTLY, and how is it that NONE of them made ANY crease, crinkle, wrinkle, or smudge on their paper ballots?

Trump announced Operation Warp Speed in May. We have a vaccine in November.
Utter disaster.
My prediction is that the people who will scuttle and ruin that are democrats. Why would I need to be locked down or wearing a mask if I am vaccinated? They can't have that.

One more reason to dislike the sewer of NYC. It is full of zombies like this guy. Imagine if you will, Will stranded in rural flyover country. No wifi, no neocommunist newstands, just working Americans and struggling Americans. What would Will do? What could he do? Zero practical skills, zero real life experience. Just another big mouth who won't shut up until he gets in the face of the wrong guy having a tough day. It would be a Twilight Zone episode, but with no redemption at the end.

"dereliction of responsibility at a time of a once-in-a-century health crisis and economic devastation."
What a load of manure. Is he serious?
Trump has done a better job at being POTUS than practically any other President. EVER! He's been the smartest and most practical and business like President ever. He's a realist, not some baloney talking wuss or evil America hating jerk like the Clinton's and Hussein Obammy.
Biden didn't even remotely get the most votes. The largest voting scam in the history of our country. Shameful, disgusting, treasonous. Worse. Totally criminal.
