My Pfizer vaccine is 90% effective,
but why weren't we told sooner?

Original Article

Along with 40-some thousand other people around the world, I’m enrolled in the clinical trials for the Pfizer COVID vaccine. All has gone well for me, and I’ve had no side effects. Of course, I’ve followed closely the progress of the trials, and I occasionally receive updates from Pfizer. Pfizer announced yesterday that its early review suggests that the vaccine is astonishingly effective – over 90%. The FDA has previously said that it will approve a safe vaccine that exceeds 50% efficacy.

Comments:

It's almost like they didn't want to announce it before the election

Pfizer claimed a 90% effective rate. Is that really successful? What happened with the other 10%? What are the side effects? If I came out with a new traffic light that only worked correctly 90% of the time, it would be called a massive failure, and nobody would buy it.

The problem with multi tiered conspiracies is that at some point, unless you are mafioso, somebody wants to brag about it.

This whole issue is a joke. If we were told the status earlier someone would complain. Since it is claimed to be only 90% effective someone complains, If the cost is anything but zero someone will complain. Wake up folks, this is reality, not some utopian perfection.

The reason we were not told sooner is because of politics. The pharmaceutical industry wants Trump out because he came down on them to bring down drug prices for ordinary Americans.

The answer is here. By sheer coincidence, the new release occurred on the same day the top executives have automatic stock trades set to occur. An earlier release would not only have helped Donald Trump (who is combatting price gouging of Americans by big pharma), but also have cost the top brass millions of dollars. Should be a criminal investigation; it's insider trading on a technicality. https://www.lucianne.com/2020/11/11/pfizer_ceo_albert_bourla_sold_millions_in_stock_on_same_day_of_vaccine_reveal_48079.html

Lauren Boebert is a petite 33-year old wife and mother of five with a GED in place of a high school diploma. Until last week, she’d never been to Washington, DC. She carries a Glock sidearm. It’s a very fine piece, though I personally prefer my Beretta 9 mm. She’s also the newly elected congresswoman representing us here in Aspen and the rest of western Colorado. To get elected, she first had to beat a five-term GOP congressman in the primary. There was nothing wrong with that congressman. But there’s a lot right about Ms. Boebert.

Can you imagine Walter Cronkite on Twitter? Neither can I. Twitter is of course that vulgar platform where people send cryptic messages to their followers. The average length of a Tweet is 33 characters – one short, ungrammatical sentence. The platform was specifically designed for superficiality. It’s a place to be snide, snarky and self-promoting, not a place for reasoned debate or reliable information.

Democracy is not necessarily the best, fairest or most effective form of government. Bear in mind that two and a half millennia ago in the first democracy, Socrates was sentenced to death by 500 Athenians. In our own representative democracy, we just had an important election. Here are some observations on the state of our democracy. Spoiler alert: It’s better than in Athens, then or now.

The polls are wrong again, and this time we have advance evidence beyond Trump’s say-so. Polling has always been an inexact science, and now it’s harder than ever. It’s hard to get a representative sampling of actual voters by making random telephone calls to people whose willingness to participate and trust of media pollsters are skewed politically.   In addition, pollsters have shifted from honest reporters to dishonest campaign tools. They deliberately slant their polls toward their favored candidates on the theory that people are more likely to vote for the candidate who’s winning.  Corrections*

First, the triumph. Against all odds, he won the presidency with promises to shake up a sclerotic Washington establishment. He did that and more. He moved the U.S. embassy to the ancient capital of Israel over objections from the establishment who predicted a violent reaction from the culture of complainers that passes for Palestinian people. That move proved the first step toward an outbreak of Mideast peace.

Cheyenne Mountain High School near Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs has a mascot, or did. Since, well, forever, they were the “Cheyenne Mountain Indians.” The mascot’s depiction is a respectful image that could have come out of an Edward Curtis lithograph. It’s not a caricature. The wokeratti recently demanded that the Indian mascot be changed and that the word “Indian” be canceled. They have not demanded that the Indian tribe “Cheyenne” be canceled. Yet. Over the objections of at least 2,000 alumni and other petitioners who asked that the Indian stay, the school board gave in to the bullies and expelled the Indian. They’re changing the mascot.

The Left has embraced cop killers, rioters, arsonists, avowed Marxists, voting frauds, cancel culture and censors. They justify their accessory to crime and their trampling of Constitutional and human rights on the grounds that it serves a greater cause – the defeat of people who disagree with them. This ends-justifies-the-means approach to morality – or to put it more simply, this abandonment of morality – is progressing inexorably to its natural conclusion. The Left now actively roots for the virus to kill people they don’t like, such as President Trump. Drunk on their fantasy, they hope that his death is painful and humiliating and that his wife dies too.

First, there’s economics. I wouldn’t call Pope Francis the “Commie Pope,” as some do, but it’s a fact that his admirers have included Cuban communist dictator Raul Castro and self-described American socialist Bernie Sanders who implied that the Pope is a socialist. Understand that this former Argentine priest named Jorge Bergoglio was shaped by Argentinian economics and politics. In the early 1900’s, Argentina was wealthier on a per capita basis than Canada or Australia – it was about the tenth wealthiest country in the world.

The best of the “Mad Max” movie series is the second, called “Road Warrior.” In a post-apocalyptic Australian desert, a former cop named Max, played by a young and buff Mel Gibson, drives around with a sawed-off shotgun in a tricked-out American muscle car wearing tight black leather and a large chip on his shoulder. The reason for that chip on Max’s shoulder – the reason he’s mad – is that he was such a good cop in the first movie that a bunch of weirdo thugs sought to defund him. Max was too tough for them, so they settled for his wife and infant son.

And though our alleged betters tell us we are not allowed to think about that horrible prospect, it’s the ruling caste itself that raised the question. When you get a vile clown like Chuck Schumer promising to “change America” if he steals another Georgia election in the coming run-off, it only reaffirms that we don’t want to “change America” – at least not into the Venezuela-lite he and his coterie of neo-Marxist bother-wedders, fake Indians, and buck-tooth morons want.
