Grocery store workers – particularly those who interact with customers – are at serious risk of infection by the coronavirus, according to a new study in the journal Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
These workers likely became a “significant transmission source” for the illness without even knowing it because most in the study were asymptomatic, CNN reported.
The study found that 20 percent of 104 grocery store workers tested at a Boston store in May had positive nasal swab results, according to the network.(Snip)Almost all of them – 91 percent — said they wore a face mask at work and 77 percent said they also wore face coverings outside of work

CNN? One store, 6 months ago? What if any value is this CNN report other than to further a lie?

A number of positive and asymptomatic subjects alarms the study doctor. Really? It suggests to me that the virus danger is vastly overblown. And these are people interacting with the public 35 to 40 hours a week.

Wait a minute...just recently the CDC stated it was doubtful a non symptomatic person could infect others , not to mention the fact that a nasal swab could show a lot of false positives. You don't know who to believe when it comes to this politically driven disease

The CV test has a high false positive rate and likely is even triggered by the seasonal flu (also a coronavirus). Couple this report with the CDC admission that over 140,000 CV deaths were not CV deaths and you begin to see how politicized this "pandemic" is. .

Interesting, 20% off truck drivers, waitresses and Uber drivers had it with no symptoms. Better have a six month nation wide panic attack and shut it all down. $10 Trillion in new stimulus please Nancy!

The story keeps changing, the one constant being that President Trump completely botched the response and does not deserve to be reelected, according to the Democrat Media Complex.

If this is true, anyone that shops at grocery stores, and anyone that comes in contact with those that shop at grocery stores has already been infected. That's likely a majority of the population. Can things go back to normal now? Pretty pleeeeeze!

This should put the teachers to shame. Grocery clerks work directly with the entire public, while teachers will face a limited number of children who appear pretty much immune. Get our kids back in school!

Grocery stores attract a cross section of almost everyone in society. If the virus is so deadly the grocery store would be ground zero for its spread.

I look at this as good news. Clearly, masks as an primary epidemic control do not work. But what this data suggests is that those who get traces of exposure over time are asymptomatic...and possibly now even immune.

And yet grocery store workers, most on minimum wage, show up for work regularly and do their jobs without complaint or fuss. They need the money, they do the job. School teachers, on the other hand, b***h and moan constantly, and outright refuse to leave their cozy nests. I have nothing but contempt for the lot of them.

CNN is not a news source, it is a propaganda outlet. Why bother?

During the lock down those of us locked down could only come into contact with a few people. Grocery store clerks, liquor store clerks, hardware store clerks, bank clerks, auto repair clerks and a few of us might have had to fly on an airliner. So why did a so called spike occur when it was expedient for democrat fortunes? Who was spreading the virus? Walmart? Safeway? Home Depot? The gas pump? As far as I know that vector locating was studiously ignored by government, press and health departments. It had to be someone in those groups. Or simply, the virus had already infected millions without the vast majority experiencing symptoms. Deaths for the most part were due to heart attacks, diabetes, old age, and co-morbities. Again, true figures are caged in double speak and fear mongering. The leftists don't want to compare apples to apples when apples to oranges creates fear of the unknown. The increase in cases (again very few people died solely from corona virus) was due to retesting those infected and each test was considered a Brand New Case. This is the biggest scam ever perpetuated on mankind by those who wish to control mankind.

I have come to agree with #13 about our present-day teachers. I had some good ones in my school days but I am an ancient geezer and those days are gone. For at least 50 years we have read about teachers who were underworked and overpaid. Maybe some were but they are not underpaid now. They have become the biggest moaners and whiners in the country telling everyone that they are frightened by the virus should they be forced to return to the classroom. But, of course, please don't stop sending a check to the house. I need some new patio furniture for the pool.

What we have here is the so-called "herd immunity." People are developing their own immunity of the virus.

How could they be a "significant transmission source" if they are all wearing masks? We are told that masks are the solution to all of our COVID-19 problems. Actually, I've thought that what does it matter, since we are all handling the same goods and money at the stores, transmitting the virus all around, despite our little masks. What a farce. Nevertheless, every channel on TV tells us "What You Need to Know" about the latest virus statistics, keeping us all duly paranoid and safe within our homes. The significant thing about the above article is that despite testing positive, most were without symptoms. Just because one tests positive does not mean that you even have a runny nose.

After wearing a mask all time, I am surprised every one of the grocery workers is not home in bed with the flu.

The crisis surrounding Covid 19 has been exaggerated by the governments and by the media for the purpose of increasing control over the masses. Much of the mainstream media has been in bed with the Leftist control freaks.
