Democratic nominee Joe Biden holds a slight lead in Texas over President Donald Trump among likely voters in Texas, according to a poll released Sunday by the Dallas Morning News and the University of Texas at Tyler.
The poll showed Biden with the support of 48 percent of likely voters, compared with 45 percent for Trump. The results represent a shift from the same poll in September, when Trump led by 2 percentage points. One difference from September is that Biden has expanded his lead among Hispanic voters from 30 percentage points to 48.

A slight Biden lead means a significant Trump lead in our new Kremlinology.

This is ridiculous! The Dallas Morning News should be ashamed of themselves but of course they're not. You can't shame a liberal. The only thing Biden leads is the list of losers.

This is the Establishments (what we used to call them in the 60’s) last chance to take down POTUS and his clones popping up in nations around the world. They are playing a ‘full court press with flashing red lights ‘to do anything and everything to beat him. Believe nothing they say, this is there last chance and they know it.

I see several issues with this poll. First of all, they are using registered voters, which is not accurate this close to the election. Yes, they claim they have likely voters meshed in, but why use registered at all if they have the likely voters they claim they have? Secondly there is this: "To balance sample demographics with the estimated gender, age, race/ethnicity, and education of registered voters in the state we use an iterated process known as raking." This is something new to me, and is smells rather fishy. Notice the word 'estimated' and tied in with 'registered voters'. I could be wrong, but it sounds to me they didn't get the results they wanted using the more accurate likely voters, so they used the registered and started 'raking' the results to get an 'estimated' total.
Also, as far as I can tell, there is no breakdown of political affiliation listed, also very fishy for a 'registered voter' poll. Even with all of this, we should be raising the warning flags in Texas, and work harder to get our message through the media gloom.

Don't come in the door with a poll from the Dallas Morning News. A left wing paper does not have the objectivity to do a poll, and ethics would require that they did not.

Since the candidates internal numbers are FAR more accurate than any polls released publicly, I think it's a good idea to look at where the candidates are focusing their energy. So far, I haven't seen a rally listed for Texas.

Poll taken from October 13 to October 20. In other words, before the debate and Joe's brilliant announcement that he will get rid of the oil industry.
Actually, it was probably inaccurate even before the debate. I don't believe Joe will win Texas.

I drive around the DFW area quite a bit, and I see 1,000 times more Trump/Pence signs than Bidet/Hairmess.

Everyone needs to take this seriously and to vote as if it's true and as if it will become a victory for Biden if you don't. There is NO downside to voting and there is INFINITE downside to not voting.

The article also said Cornyn’s opponent is catching up and is only 8 points behind. That would mean people are voting for Cornyn but not Trump. I don’t think so.

Most Hispanic voters WON’T be voting for a candidate whose supports abortion even up to birth. Most Hispanic Americans don’t want their hard-earned money and jobs being given away to illegals.

It must have been the announcement that Beat-O would be the guy assigned to collect all of your AR-15s that made Texans rush to Biden. Nobody wants one of those dangerous things sitting around the house.

I voted in person Thursday in the most conservative county in the most conservative state, Ft Bend County, TX. Once-upon-time, we elected Tom Delay, the Hammer to represent us, that conservative. By Friday morning it was announced that fully half of registered voters in this county had already voted and set a new record (with more to come).
