On the 197th day of “15 days to slow the spread,” California Gov. Gavin Newsom (Democrat, of course) has moved the reopening goalposts yet again. Originally counties had to meet metrics aimed at ensuring adequate rates of testing and the availability of hospital/ICU beds/ventilators. (Contact tracing was supposed to be a part of that, but that effort’s been a big fat joke). Once hospitalization rates, ventilator usage, and death rates plummeted over the summer Newsom changed his strategy and enacted by gubernatorial fiat a tiered system that completely ignored those metrics and instead focused on daily new cases and positivity rate. The Pelosis and the Newsoms are two of the most influential families in the San Francisco area. The two families are often linked, as both are involved in business and politics, and some members are even tied by blood and marriage. Gabin and Nancy are distantly related.

I don't care how great the weather is, or how beautiful the state is, there's no way I would live there. The yearly fires are not a strong draw, either. Every state has beautiful areas, not just Kalifornia.

Just imagine the fun he will have when he declares a climate crisis and mandates no gas or diesel cars or trucks can be driven to cut back carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and flatten the curve of climate change.

There are hotspots within some counties, particularly in high-density areas of Anaheim and Santa Ana, which are in Orange County. They are predominately Hispanic neighborhoods.
Yet, these are the very types of high-density neighborhoods the urban planners in the State have been pushing for the past couple decades as being the answer to the housing needs though.
Disneyland is in Anaheim, and it's not good that Bob Iger quit the task force.

How much more proof does one need. The democratic voter is basically an illiterate, one who has sold his soul to their party. You really have to be a complete moron to keep voting these people into office.
And, they have they gall to call Trump a nazi, Hitler, and a dictator. Yet look who's doing what. Again I say iy, they are who they want you to hate. Get it yet...

Of course Gruesome doesn't care that those who live in "disadvantaged neighborhoods" are more likely to have (had) jobs that cannot be done remotely (such as hospitality, food service, etc.), and keeping them shut down even longer will further disadvantage the residents of those neighborhoods. To Gruesome, this is a feature, not a bug.

Ignoring for a second that shutdowns anywhere have been almost always completely ridiculous, if there is a problem in a certain part of a County just address that part of the county not other places that are 30 miles away.

My appreciation to the citizens of California. You have presented to us a real life demonstration of complete and total democrat political leadership.
Too bad you were dumb enough to buy into it, but those in the Americans between the coasts who are capable of clear thinking can benefit from your self-sacrifice. You have proven that with democrat leadership, we can quickly become a third-world country just like Cuba.

Have you had any friends and acquaintances who believe the Scamdemic is about their health and not a colossal political charade? Got to keep people from voting so the Party can do it for them.
