In response to visual evidence suggesting a primitive hominid in a public forest, city officials in a Northern California coastal community strongly dismissed the possibility of such a creature in the preserve. The denial came days after photos circulated on the Internet, taken in Sequoia Park, seeming to show a hominid or hominids 50 feet or more above the forest floor in a tall redwood tree on a platform. The images, posted on a Bigfoot-related blog, were taken by an experienced Western naturalist visiting the 70-acre sanctuary, which protects many old growth redwoods. The photos were determined to be unaltered.

How come (s)he did not burn up? Maybe (s)he was setting all the fires - hates humans encroaching on his/her woods...

Biggest clue that something might be real? Immediate denial of the witness reports, by the government, before any investigation takes place.

All bigfoot fans should read Devolution by Max Brooks. A techo hippie community near Seattle gets taken off the grid when Mt. Rainier erupts and if that isn't enough, the eruption leads a group of Sasquatch to the community. Guess what? They are hungry.

Mooch got bored again and made a run for it.
Seriously, I blew up the photos on this site and with it came audio. And great deal of chatter about “two bears up the tree”…
One ended up in the pile of brush at the bottom of the tree.
“Now she’s coming back down…"

Again?
Yawn. Right. If it was real we'd have a skull, or complete skeleton, or a whole dead body by now.
Bigfoot is BS, 100%. Zero physical evidence for decades means there isn't any. Sorry if that ruins someone's party.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Service used to be quite adamant that there were NO surviving Florida panthers (mountain lions). By about the 3rd or 4th dead body of a Florida panther dropped off at a Fish and Wildlife office, they started to come around. They denied it at the first couple....claiming "escaped pets". The physical evidence is the irrefutable proof.
Show me a dead Bigfoot, skull or skeleton and I will believe. Otherwise, stop bothering me, hoaxers.

Like the Loch Ness Monster. It's fun to think something like that still exists but it's doubtful at the least. The lake, for one thing, doesn't have enough food in it to sustain an animal of that size. Show me bones. The ghost hunter shows all over TV are the same. They stroll through darkened venues talking about "feeling an energy form" or sensing some sort of 'cold area'. Show me a good clear picture of a genuine ghost and I might think that there is something to it.

Off all of the mythical creatures "they" say are out there, Bigfoot is the one that I wish were true. Mostly because Frank Perretti wrote a really good book about them (it's called "Monster," and I recommend it).

I've seen that guy in an ad. Claims his name is Kevin, and he seems very sad that we've taught children to fear him.

I recognize him! He used to live on Easter Island but left to work very, very briefly in Viet Nam and then on to Washington, DC where he was known mainly for littering on the WH lawn. Besides his homes on Beacon Hill and in Aspen, Martha’s Vineyard, etc. I see he’s got a very rustic one in California. It becomes him.

Bigfoot was seen because, like many other Californians, he is voting with his feet and leaving the state.
