Kamala Harris: America’s Least Sincere Person

Original Article

Posted By: Pluperfect, 8/15/2020 4:48:46 AM

Kamala Harris is devoted to the political advancement of Kamala Harris. (Just ask Willie Brown.) Beyond that, she has no apparent principles, although she is happy to adopt extreme leftism as the guise of the moment. During the primary season, she attacked Joe Biden quite effectively, claiming to believe the women who accused him of sexual harassment, and so on. But, like the rest of Harris’s life, it was all a pose. That is how she explained it to Stephen Colbert, who naively assumed that Harris might have meant at least some of what she said about Biden:(Snip for tweet)It was a debate! She was just trying to become president!

Comments:

Is anyone else put off by Harris's frequent maniacal laughter? Hillary Clinton exhibited the same nervous tic, excessive laughter without a hint of real mirth.

She caustic, brittle and combative. Moreover, she's incompetent. Other than being a lawyer, what has she done? She hasn't raised a family, or owned a business. She's not America's role model woman of color and she's not appealing to other women.

Commiela is Willie Brown's most successful hoe, and he was a prolific farmer. He must be working off Purgatory time trying to warn the country about this slug that is too repulsive even for him. One thing I noticed about the clip was her lack of facial expression while the question was being asked. It was obvious where Colbert was going, but she remained straight face. She never smiled, or even had a twinkle of mirth in her eye, but once he delivered his punchline her sudden eruption into laughter was disconcerting. Usually when an interviewee finds the question "funny" they have some facial expression that gives the viewer a "tell" that laughter will be the response. She looked as serious as a judge, then the Hillaryesque laughter. She needs a straight jacket and some chrome bracelets. KAS- Keep America Sane

In some cases, it doesn't matter if she's personally appealing to other women or if she's a maniac or not. A woman at work who shares most of the views of us here on L-dot about the Covid scam, who doesn't promote any lefty nonsense, all of a sudden was just giddy about Biden choosing Kamala. The pick itself had served its purpose to generate enthusiasm in at least one female voter and I'm sure she is not alone. It's all about the womyns thing and being a commie, ho is irrelevant.

Unlike many, I admire Kumalot Harris. In an age of women hating men and demanding career advancement based on sex, Kumalot did it a different way. She used her feminine side and didn't demand special privialge based on her gender. No, she bucked traditional feminism and did it her way. She laid on her back, spread her legs and accepted the seed of powerful Democrat Men to advaced like a meteor. You go girl!

I want to know about Kamala's experience being bused. She infers she was bused OUT of the ghetto to a white school. I'd like to know the demographics of where she lived at the time, the school she was bused out of. Her parents met being PhD students at UC Berkley. This is not the typical "out of the ghetto" story. By the time she was in second grade they should have finished their education. A good journalist would find these answers.

Neither Harris or Biden have a good record they can stand on. Biden has never made any input or presented a bill of note. Harris has been in the senate about 2 years, are you going to do the same with her that was done with Obama, not record of remark. If they are elected get ready to shelter in place for a long time and pay a hell of a lot of taxes/.

World War II, the most brutal, destructive, and murderous conflict in human history, was finally, mercifully racing toward a close 75 Augusts ago. In early May German units and personnel had rushed to surrender, preferably to the Western allies. On May 7, General Alfred Jodl signed his country’s formal surrender. Alas, the war in the Pacific continued. At that time U.S. forces were in the midst of the battle for Okinawa. That fight did not conclude until June, after roughly 130,000 military deaths, the vast majority Japanese. Even more civilians died, roughly half of the island’s population of 300,000. Imperial Japan’s cause was hopeless —

Any political adviser who could tell a presidential candidate what a voter would be thinking when that person stands in a voting booth next November would be worth their weight in gold. But no one can. Most voters don’t think about national security when they step into the voting booth. They should, because one aspect of that issue is as clear an indicator as anyone can find of who can be trusted to perform the duties of the president. One important part of a president’s job is to maintain the confidentiality of America’s secrets. Some presidents disclose secrets for political gain.

G eneral Michael Flynn is going to lose the battle. That was the takeaway from Tuesday’s hearing before the D.C. Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Flynn will eventually win the war, but President Trump’s first national-security adviser is still in a slog, and there are more scraps ahead. The battle in question is Flynn’s petitioning of the D.C. Circuit to issue a writ of mandamus against federal district judge Emmet Sullivan. Mandamus is an extraordinary remedy. It is something of a last resort, when a judge is acting so lawlessly that the damage could be incurable if a higher court fails to intervene.

When President Trump objected to federal regulations of shower heads and when the Department of Energy this week proposed to undo President Barack Obama’s shower rules, Trump’s critics decried the actions as petty and the subject matter as too picayune. But Trump's critics are the ones with a question to answer: If the flow of a person’s shower head is too petty to be deregulated, then how was it momentous enough to be regulated in the first place? The story of how Washington got into our showers started in 1992, but the real action took place in 2010.

The Mafia is not as good at extortion as “social justice” activists. Feminists and race activists have successfully invoked moralism to demand preferences, special benefits, and power. The legal cover for this extortion comes in the form of “affirmative action” and “diversity.” Feminists, under the guise of “equality,” have striven to replace men and dominate in their place. In this, they have been largely successful. For sixty years, they have demanded and received preference in college admissions and funding, university and business hiring and grants, and appointment to administrations and positions of power.

Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot's (D.) decision to renovate a local convention center into a makeshift coronavirus hospital cost taxpayers nearly $66 million—though only 38 patients received treatment at the facility, the Chicago Sun-Times reported on Friday. The Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority, the agency Lightfoot tasked with overseeing the project, overlooked a bid from a construction company that offered to waive fees or donate them to coronavirus pandemic relief organizations. Instead, officials gave the bid to Walsh Construction, a politically connected contractor, which billed the city $65.9 million to renovate the McCormick Place convention center.
