We know where to watch in the next few weeks but have no real idea what we will be watching. Yet pundits, the media, and the Left seem giddy that their polls show a Trump slump, as if they have learned nothing and forgotten nothing from 2016. But in truth, the news cycle over the next three months may well favor Trump — a scenario his opponents no doubt deem preposterous in these dog days of August.
1. The virus. The coronavirus is like an out-of-control grass fire. It dies down only to flare up without much predictability — making fools of yesterday’s experts,
I agree with most of what VDH has to say, except about President Trump tweeting. If the President announced expanded funding for Animal Shelters, the MSM would run the article as: "President kicks puppy, film at 11". Keep Tweeting, Mr. President! For some, it's the only way people can really hear what you are saying...

I agree about the tweeting. Remember our frustration when W just took all the abuse without defending himself? I love having a President that fights back.

While I agree with the issues that VDH puts forth, I disagree with his evaluation of them. Specifically, I don't think they have been as negative for Trump as he thinks and as they trend in the direction he suggests they are likely to, Trump will just get stronger.
Yes, there is lots of frustration and confusion but, for example, about things like the virus, the American People recognize this isn't a simple situation. Trump turned to the experts and they gave him bad or incomplete advice. It's like trying to fly a plane through a hurricane; there is no "right" course. This is a situation that needs to be dealt with as it evolves and Trump is doing a decent job of that. The American People know that.
About Biden, a majority of People think he is senile and that they would be effectively voting for his VP, not him. The characteristics of his VP are now critical and THAT is why they are having trouble making a decision.
Tweet on Mr. President!

The democrats are in a bind from which there is only one means of escape. At the last possible moment before November 3rd they will announce Joe's decision to step down because of a sudden illness and whether they run with the Mooch, the Hag or the Bern, the Great Silent Majority will squash them like a runaway bulldozer going through a swamp. The last six months, actually the last four years have given us a clear picture of what a democrat-run country would look like. They have pulled off the mask and gone full communist. Donald the Hammer is coming!

The tweeting is more than just Trump venting. There are days that the 4am talking points that are delivered to the main stream media have to be disrupted.
You've heard them - the mantra that is repeated by every anchor all day long : "this is extremely dangerous to our democracy", "a child's happiness is priceless", "economic factors may take some spring out of the Easter bunny's step this year"... (for a good laugh just search youtube for scripted news)
Even if he has to say something outlandish, he does it to get them to change their narrative and interfere with their talking points.

Corona virus + mail in ballots + vote harvesting = a Biden victory. It's legal in California and just passed in Nevada. I'm not sure how many other states have legalized it.

Suddenly I remember the runner in some marathon or other who crept out of the bushes at the last lap and began to run for the finish line. Mooch? Hillary? I don't know enough about likelihood to disagree with VDH, so I'll just think on these things. (And think some dark thoughts!)

I think people realize that it will be worse, a lot worse, than voting for Biden's VP. The plot is to get him elected , keep him on as a puppet and let a cabal of unelected cronies of 0bama/Jarrett/Soros wield power. They won't willingly turn over all the controls to a Veep who, after all is said done, will have been elected.

Perhaps the reason the MSM and Democrats are so giddy about the prospects of winning the election, is because they have it much, much easier to cast fraudulent ballots. Unlike "Absentee Ballots" which are sent to named registered voters who have applied for them, most of the "Mail-In" are being sent as a mass mailing to addresses. Effectively they are like they are like "junk mail" addressed to "occupant." The recipient may not be registered to vote or even a citizen. Some will be intercepted before reaching their intended destination. and voted fraudulently. One Democrat jurisdiction ran a test with real and counterfeit ballots and found they could not tell the difference.
"Ballot Harvesting" has the potential to increase the number of fraudulent ballots ten fold.
Since it is only Democrats pushing these changes, guess who the fraudulent vote will favor.
It will take a lot of Republican votes to counter the fraudulent this election. No wonder they are so giddy!
