Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales said Wednesday, July 29 he may seek state or federal assistance with more than 100 local police departments pulling out of responding to the Democratic National Convention starting Aug. 17. Meanwhile, with his job at stake if he doesn't comply with a list of directives handed down by the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission, the chief weighed in on those orders, with some due Thursday. (One directive calls for Morales to get rid of tear gas altogether)

Assuming the dims don't wake up and cancel their convention, looks like it will be 1968 all over again. Shootings, murders, fire, rioting, looting, anarchy. Milwaukee about to get bloodied up bigtime. Morales, if I were you, get out now before you become the dim's poster child.

the dnc doesn't want an actual convention. it would open up the possibility of riots, hurting their nominee's chances of victory in November. see chicago, 1968, and what happened to Humphrey's presidential run.

Milwaukee should suffer the fate the Fire and Police Commission has chosen for it. It's past time to make politicians take the ramifications of their edicts. So a cityful of "peaceful protesters" besiege the Fiserv Center and trash Wisconsin Avenue...what are the chances anyway? It's all for "social justice". It's the Dem's own monster returning to the castle. As for Morales...he is suffering his own deserved consequences.

The National Guard will turn them down too. This isn't hard to understand. The Democrats want to defund the police. In response, the police are letting the democrats handle their own security. The convention is the perfect opportunity for the democrats to showcase their alternatives to the police. They should deputize all the Antifa and BLM goons, and let them run security. They are going to be there regardless. Watch the fun begin. How long before the lying media cuts the video feed to cover lefty strongarm tactics?

Why don't they get their 'brownshirt' troops, otherwise known as bLM/Antifa to provide security. Why they think the need security from mythical rioters is beyond me. I'm wondering if they will require a fence and picture ID to get into the convention?

FTA: “Morales' attorney asked for an extension on some of the deadlines, but it was not granted. He said he intends to turn in some of the paperwork for Thursday's deadline, and again on Aug. 4.” If the chief needs an attorney to respond to the orders of his FPC bosses’ orders, he’s too incompetent to be the chief. What a world we live in!

Well, it may be time to deploy the military to Seattle after all because what local lawmakers are doing is nothing short of allowing the city to be engulfed in violence and anarchy. They’re moving to abolish the police. It’s not defunding. It’s a total dissolution. Non-profit programs and “community-led activities” will replace policing. Why? Well, according to the resolution, the Seattle Police Department perpetuates racism and violence. Oh, yes, and it’s a vehicle of white supremacy. It's typical 'woke' nonsense, and it's a cancer that's killing America.

Admiration for George W. Bush doesn’t win you much praise in today’s Republican Party, but I don’t care. On Thursday former President George W. Bush attended and delivered a speech at the late Congressman John Lewis’s funeral. George W. Bush had every reason not to attend Lewis’s funeral, let alone eulogize him. Lewis may have been a famed civil rights leader, but he was also a bitter partisan Democrat congressman, who boycotted both of Bush’s inaugurations. Bush barely mentioned the political division between him and Lewis. “John and I had our disagreements of course,” Bush said.
