Mark McCloskey, the homeowner who defended his St. Louis home recently from a large mob of demonstrators, told Fox News on Monday that he excepts to be “indicted shortly.” The segment came after St. Louis law enforcement officials served a warrant on the McCloskeys late last week and confiscated the rifle that he used to defend his home. “The police were really very professional and very nice,” McCloskey said. “The cops that came out to issue the search warrant on us, they were almost apologetic. First of all, #7, the trial, if it would be held will be in a primarily Democrat Liberal Leftist locality. Secondly, Mister McCloskey appears to be a Liberal leaning attorney that defended those involved in causes of that ilk. There is a good chance that the saying " a conservative is a liberal that has been mugged" applies in this instance.

I got a nice letter from a lady in Ireland congratulated us for taking a stand against violence and so I think that the vast majority of Americans wish they could do something. The problem is if nobody stands up and supports them, if the media blasts them, I’m self-employed, I own my own law firm, but what if I was an employee somewhere? If I did what I did and I was an employee of anybody else, I would have been canned the next day. My family would’ve been canned. No one would ever get a job again. This is the kind of social pressure that keeps people from standing up and defending themselves and I think it’s time for people to take a different stand. Actually stand up and have some risk. Patrick Henry said, ‘give me liberty or give me death’ and now everybody so afraid of losing their job.

McCloskey probably can’t wait to be indicted. He knows thst his actions were in line with Missouri law. He knows that any indictment and/or arrest will have to be thrown out by the trial judge as soon as McCloskey’s attorney makes a motion to dismiss. McCloskey can then sue the DA in civil court for damages.

I hope his attorney is prepared to file a lawsuit against the 'Soros-paid'-for' DA for "malicious prosecution" stemming from her indictment of this couple defending their amazing property against an ILLEGAL gathering (they had no permit for assembly!) who TRESPASSED deep into their walled-off property by means of the locked gate, which they broke down to gain access. All of these are easily prosecutable crimes, yet she goes after the innocent. Disgusting. The MO State Attorney needs to begin an immediate investigation of this Soros DA, NOW.

I doubt that this ever goes to trial, if there is even an indictment handed down. The wife may have crossed the legal line into 'threatening' or similar problems with her very ill-advised waving of the little pistol around like it was a classroom pointer or something. I don't think that the husband's behavior would be at all out of line. But, the persecutor is not rational, has some political points to try to make, so logic and the law will not be much used in this process.

One of the most disturbing things about our already unsettling times is the way that the left is forcing ugly binary choices on Americans. The most obvious example is how the phrase “All lives matter” is being twisted to mean “I hate blacks” or “I’m a white supremacist.” The latest manifestation of the charge that refusing to recognize black supremacy is, without more, proof that someone is a white supremacist comes from San Francisco. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (“SFMOMA”) has forced out its senior curator for the crime of refusing to ban white artists entirely from the museum’s collection.

Andrew Weissmann, a top prosecutor on special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, is seeking a re-do of sorts in the investigation, saying in an op-ed Tuesday that Roger Stone should be hauled before a grand jury to answer questions about his interactions with President Donald Trump in 2016. Writing in The New York Times, Weissmann also pushed a false claim about the criminal charges against Stone, whose prison sentence Trump commuted on Friday. Weissmann, who is currently an MSNBC analyst, asserted that Stone was convicted on charges of “lying to Congress about the coordination between the Trump 2016 campaign, Mr. Stone, WikiLeaks and Russia.”

It’s been over 11 years since I stepped into my mother’s kitchen back on Long Island, but it all came flooding back the other day when I pulled out her small, olive green metal recipe box. Our kitchen was off the living room at the back of the first floor. Standing at the kitchen sink, you could look over the backyard, to the rusty basketball hoop on the garage roof and our baseball field just over the forsythia bushes. My mom called us from that spot countless times. I wish I had a picture of her standing watch at that window, but it’s probably best remembered in my mind.

Poster art is something they did in the early 1900s, late 1800s, when they had to communicate their whole platform on one piece of paper," Cuomo stated. "Over the past few years I’ve done my own posters that capture that feeling. I did a new one for what we went through with COVID

At this point, maybe Hillary is tripling down or quadrupling down. She is still beating a dead horse – the loser of the 2016 presidential election wanted the viewers of Trevor Noah’s late-night television show to know that Trump’s victory was illegitimate and she has thoughts or something. She doesn’t have any new thoughts, mind you, but she is bitterly clinging to her old thoughts. Watching a video of the interview, it is easy for anyone who paid attention to the 2016 election or is old enough to remember the administration of Bill Clinton to understand the irony in most of Hillary’s answers to the softball questions asked by Noah.
