Mark McCloskey, the homeowner who defended his St. Louis home recently from a large mob of demonstrators, told Fox News on Monday that he excepts to be “indicted shortly.”
The segment came after St. Louis law enforcement officials served a warrant on the McCloskeys late last week and confiscated the rifle that he used to defend his home.
“The police were really very professional and very nice,” McCloskey said. “The cops that came out to issue the search warrant on us, they were almost apologetic. They didn’t want to have to be there. They were doing their job. Patty wanted to take a picture to document it

George Soros is funding the campaigns of these radicals across the nation. Why on earth can't he be stopped?

Politics, pure and ugly. Most other armed homeowners would have done the same thing or taken even stronger measures.

Finding 12 people to convict will be impossible.

First of all, #7, the trial, if it would be held will be in a primarily Democrat Liberal Leftist locality.
Secondly, Mister McCloskey appears to be a Liberal leaning attorney that defended those involved in causes of that ilk. There is a good chance that the saying " a conservative is a liberal that has been mugged" applies in this instance.

McCloskey probably voted for this Soros backed woman in which case he gets what he deserves.

I got a nice letter from a lady in Ireland congratulated us for taking a stand against violence and so I think that the vast majority of Americans wish they could do something. The problem is if nobody stands up and supports them, if the media blasts them, I’m self-employed, I own my own law firm, but what if I was an employee somewhere? If I did what I did and I was an employee of anybody else, I would have been canned the next day. My family would’ve been canned. No one would ever get a job again. This is the kind of social pressure that keeps people from standing up and defending themselves and I think it’s time for people to take a different stand. Actually stand up and have some risk. Patrick Henry said, ‘give me liberty or give me death’ and now everybody so afraid of losing their job.

Indicted for just holding a gun on your own private property? At least we are exposing some of these incompetent DA’s, and there seems to be many around the country.

If they are indicted the case will go all the way to the SCOTUS.

We're witnessing the legacy of the OJ trail. The corruption of the rule of law to suit racial identity politics.

The DA, mayor, and George Soros should have their names on a lot of dance cards by now. I wonder if Soros ever sees the light of day, or is he always locked away in his estate/bunker?

Re: #7 & 8: If the pool of jurors is largely from the city, it looks bad for the McCloskeys. I play an attorney here on L.com and think they will defeat this but at considerable time and expense. Not to mention the threats of intimidation and harm. A homeowner's nightmare.
It's there in black and white.

McCloskey probably can’t wait to be indicted. He knows thst his actions were in line with Missouri law. He knows that any indictment and/or arrest will have to be thrown out by the trial judge as soon as McCloskey’s attorney makes a motion to dismiss. McCloskey can then sue the DA in civil court for damages.

#9, McCloskey was interviewed by Michael Knowles last week and stated he was a life-long Republican and did not support BLM. He has been a victim of a misinformation campaign and wanted to clear that up he said.

You are part of the problem or part of the solution.
Officers, you should have arrested the DA for abuse of Power.

I hope his attorney is prepared to file a lawsuit against the 'Soros-paid'-for' DA for "malicious prosecution" stemming from her indictment of this couple defending their amazing property against an ILLEGAL gathering (they had no permit for assembly!) who TRESPASSED deep into their walled-off property by means of the locked gate, which they broke down to gain access. All of these are easily prosecutable crimes, yet she goes after the innocent. Disgusting.
The MO State Attorney needs to begin an immediate investigation of this Soros DA, NOW.

I doubt that this ever goes to trial, if there is even an indictment handed down.
The wife may have crossed the legal line into 'threatening' or similar problems with her very ill-advised waving of the little pistol around like it was a classroom pointer or something. I don't think that the husband's behavior would be at all out of line.
But, the persecutor is not rational, has some political points to try to make, so logic and the law will not be
much used in this process.

From everything I have read, this couple are limousine lie-berals.
Sadly, I have no doubt they voted for all the Demon-Rat city officials that are now trying to crucify them for the basic crime of "living while being white".
