Going for the wokester cred, Meghan Markle's husband, Prince Harry, would like you to apologize, or rather, 'reflect' on the colonial sins of his ancestors.
Here's how bad it was:
Prince Harry today faced criticism after he appeared to take a swipe at the British Empire by saying the history of the Commonwealth 'must be acknowledged', even if it's 'uncomfortable'.
The Duke of Sussex, 35, made the comment as he joined wife Meghan Markle, 38, for a video call with young leaders
from the Queen's Commonwealth Trust last week that was made public today.
As part of the discussion on 'justice and equal rights', Harry said the Commonwealth needs to follow others

Clearly the chap is p-whipped all the way. Chances are this experience in allowing himself to become p-whipped will not work out well for the chap in the end. There is a good probability that he needs a check up from the neck up.

They said they would review the Duke and Duchess' status after 12 months. I suspect the Queen and Royal Family may be reconsidering waiting that long.
At least they should be. Cut him off and let them live off Mommy's trust fund for him. I could easily live off $20 million dollars.

Meghan doesn’t call him Prince or even Harry. Her name for him is H.

“Must be acknowledged even if uncomfortable “
Just who is not ‘acknowledging’ past colonialism or racism? It’s all we have heard for the 50 years. The constant drumbeat of how evil white people are and how noble, peaceful and kind are all others are.

American Thinker, the linked site, is now nagging about ad blockers and apparently limiting the number of articles one can read without subscribing ($).
I block ads because of their potential to harbor malware, so the blocker will remain enabled. As for paying to subscribe, I only have so many dollars and most of them are already spoken for. Sorry, AT.

I so dont care anymore about this couple or his colonial past. Whats stupid about all of this is that every racial group and or nation did something in its past that is considered, by todays standards, as egregious. Slavery did not start in the US. It was brought here by the colonial powers. ALL OF THEM. Least we forget that the pure as the wind driven snow natives in the Americas also enslaved weaker tribes.

AS we tine in today ( crank up that lousy organ music) we find that Prince Harkle , the Gelded, is willing to shame his country and Grammy aka Queen Elizabeth for not going in the way back machine to change history.Sparkle Farkle Markle , having no understanding of how things work is pushing this. Will the Duke renounce his privileged title and wealth to be " woke" ? Will the Dukette dump the Duke if he does? And what about leverage baby Arkel, what will he call them when he learns to speak? For the answer to these and other burning questions, tune in next week, next month or next year for another chapter of " The Unmerry Wife of Windsor"............late of Canada , now appearing ( for cold cash) in L.A.

There's some sort of deepwater fish whose males, upon finding a female, latch on and atrophy until they are just a nub on the back end of the much larger partner.
Can't imagine why that keeps coming to mind....

The "legacy of the British Empire" is seen in its ex-colonies: the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, Bermuda. Hong Kong, et al. I don't see anything the Mother Country should be ashamed of.

Amen #10, Charles and both sons prove that point. As many have already said, with England circling the drain, the Royals (no matter what status or category EXCEPT the Queen) is barely relevant anymore.

Hey Harry, nobody needs to apologize for history except their own personal story perhaps Anyone who conformed to the norms they were born into isn't a villain by birthright.
You might want to crack open a history book and see if you can find a country or a culture that didn't do dastardly things then get back to me.
We need to celebrate those who contributed to the abandonment of those atrocities and injustices for advancing the state of humankind, and not admonish them for falling short of perfection and daring to leave any work in the improvement in the human condition to the next generation. Those who have something to be ashamed of are those who ignore history and backslide into barbarism like treating their neighbors like agricultural resources to be harvested. Hint: socialists.
You might also want to reflect on how some of the past evil doers would view our progressive culture's penchant for murdering our infants.

#18, since Harry is not a US citizen, first before working in the USA, to abide by the immigration laws, Harry would have to get permission from the federal immigration authorities to work in the USA. These days that is no given, with so many Americans out of work, and the fact that Harry and Meghan are both multi-millionaires who do not need Harry working in the USA to support themselves financially.
Usually when a foreign spouse is brought into the USA on a temporary visa, to comply with the immigration laws if the couple intends to stay in the USA beyond the temporary visa time limit, the US citizen spouse must file an immediate relative petition on behalf of the foreign spouse with the immigration authorities to classify the foreign spouse as his or her immediate relative for immigration purposes.
After that petition is approved, the foreign spouse becomes eligible, based upon the approved petition, to file an application for permanent residence in the USA. When that application is approved, the foreign spouse is granted the immigration status of the permanent resident alien commonly known as a “green card” holder. Such a person is then allowed to live and work in the USA indefinitely.
Then after three years passes, a permanent resident alien married to a US citizen gains the right to file a petition to naturalize as a US citizen.
That is generally the procedure that is followed by millions of aspiring and actual legal immigrants each year. You have to figure that Harry and Meghan have engaged competent immigration lawyers to usher them through that process.

Hey, don't be so critical. These two rich brats gave two days to charity. They worked the soup kitchen one day and delivered food to the poor one day both with photographers in tow. Now they think they have earned the right to lecture the rest of America and Britain how to live. If Harry doesn't do what she tells him to do, she will throw him under the bus like she has done to everyone else. He is a pathetic crybaby whose daddy is still paying his bills. Ain't that a shame.

The once named House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha now callls itself Windsor (after the castle) because the first name was too German sounding. That was probably back when they WERE Germans with a few Nazis to boot. Suffice to say that William married up, as did his grandmother. Sparkle Farkle Markle did also, but it matters little now for the California couple of ex-royals. Who knows if Harry was proud that Americans whupped a little Brit butt back in the day and he wanted to become one. Dave Ramsey would tell the boy to quit living in Daddy's pockets, deliver pizza or something while working a couple more jobs. You want fries with that?

Actually, we decided that we didn't like what Harry's ancestors were doing quite some time ago, and we told them to "take a hike". The took it quite badly, and there was quite the row.....it was in all the history books, starting about 1775, got pretty unpleasant about 1776.
So.....not apologizing for folks we ran out of OUR country almost 250 years ago. Drop dead.
And I wish the Brits would take their Dork of Sussex home and paddle his behind, and tell him to stop bothering "the Americans".
