The Seattle Police Department swept into the CHOP early Wednesday with heavily equipped officers and tactical vehicles to clear out the Capitol Hill protest zone. Police issued dispersal orders and had arrested about a dozen people as of 5:23 a.m., the department tweeted.
Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan issued an executive order that went out at 4:58 a.m. declaring the “gathering in this area an unlawful assembly requiring immediate action from city agencies, including the Police Department.”
At least 100 police officers (snip) moved into the CHOP, which stands for Capitol Hill Organized Protest. “Anyone who remains in the area, or returns to the area, is subject to arrest,” the department tweeted.
That protest at her house must have gotten to her. Another mugged liberal.

The “protesters “ screwed up when they targeted the mayor’s home. All of sudden a “summer of love” got personal and now is an illegal assembly. Reality bites!

Not so much fun when the howling mob shows up at your house and threatens your loved ones is it Jenny?
Did you really think that because you're a left-wing lesbian you would be immune? Maybe you should read a little history to see what happens to people in revolutionary times when they are no longer useful... they're just idiots.

This "unlawful" assembly was unlawful 3 weeks ago when it was set up. Initially, the Dems thought they could lure PDJT to send in the Feds, get some good TV footage for portraying him as an unfeeling racist monster, and get back to normal business when the dust settled. He didn't take the bait. It dawned on people that CHOP was squarely the responsibility of local law enforcement and that the "mayor" of their city ordered the police to stand down. Her babbling about a "summer of love" didn't square with the rising crime rate and body count (Black lives, anyone?).
I hope this sad episode is over and not too many copycats set up "autonomous zones" of hell in our Dem cities.

Now the CHOPers will have another reason to go protest at Jenny’s house. I hope that they harass her until she resigns. And if I were a Seattle police officer and she ordered me to go into the zone and run the Marxists out, I would laugh in her face and take a few days of Blue Flu.

This can change the narrative.
It proves that the mayor or governor is the one responsible for the safety of their citizens.
They can no longer blame Trump for what happens in their cities because of their poor judgement or political leanings.
A good reporter should investigate these politicians and report on who their donors are. I wouldn’t mind seeing the address of such people printed. I would also like to see addresses of people arrested for involvement in looting ,burning and destruction of statues.

I'm sure she came to her senses as soon as they threatened HER home.

Oh, oh! Looks like the "visit" to her house struck a nerve with her. Violence, protests for thee, but not for me, eh Ms. Mayor?

Nothing happens until they come for the mayor's home and then the police are unleashed?
Now THAT'S privilege.

With any luck (or balls) they'll clear the zone out with a few daisy cutters.

Remember those great newsreel scenes when US troops liberated a French town and the regular citizens beat the living snot out of the Nazi collaborators in the streets as they were hauled away. Yeah, that.

Looks like the CHOP activists finally went too far. The police always clear out these encampments in the wee hours of the morning when the inhabitants are sleeping off their binges or hungover and aren't up to fighting back.

Mayor Jenny's Summer Project....now officially failed. Awww.
If the folks in Seattle re-elect her, they will deserve every horror that she visits upon them.

Poster #6, some years ago, when inslee was our congressman, we went to one of his town hall meetings. I looked up his web page to see more about him. Every single organization he belonged to was funded by George Soros.

"Don't let it be forgot. That once there was a spot. For one brief shining moment. That was known as Camelot..." Thank God they're finally gutting this boondogle and taking out the trash, but in the sick and twisted mind of socialists, it was "Camelot!" LOL

Ah yes, the 5 Am wake up call for those who usually get up at the crack of noon. And who is responsible for the Gestapo at the door in the middle of the night ? Mayor Jenny whose house was surrounded yesterday.
Funny how that works.

What will happen if the residents/business owners who had to put up in CHOP decide to stage periodic peaceful demonstrations at her home every weekend?

I hope this is the beginning of the end of this anti-police protests. The incidents there shows what happens where the police are disbanded.
This is the best news of the day!

Wow; one of the interviewees blamed the CHOP violence on Christian evangelicals and white supremacists. So many people living in their own woke alternative universes.
