The Russia-Taliban Bounty
Story Is Fake News

RUSH: Now, this Taliban story. Folks, I’m gonna go out on a limb here. I really think this so-called news about Russia offering to pay the Taliban--you know, this bounty story out there that Trump says he didn’t know anything about.(Snip)There’s nothing in the news media that’s true anymore.(Snip)What’s this news doing out here now? None of these figures are in the news. I think this news goes way, way back to March. They didn’t want this news to be buried by the coronavirus news when it was new, and the shutdown was new, and the lockdown was new, ’cause this doesn’t make any sense at all.

Comments:

Rush suggests that for Democrat donors trusting their elected Democrats and gave money to or purchased online news subscriptions to learn that that the Russia story to remove President Trump from office was a hoax, that their Democrat leadership and news sources lied, to now learn there was no evidence and no collusion, Nancy Pelosi cannot allow donors to realize they wasted “millions and millions and millions of dollars.” Further, if Joe Biden is ahead in the polls, “Why are they going back to Trump-Russia? Why are they going back to the coup?”

The Taliban was part of the coalition that kicked Russia out of Afghanistan back in the 80s. Now Russia is working with the Taliban? Hard to believe. Russia hasn't forgotten what the Taliban did to them. Also doubt the Taliban would be a trustworthy ally. The Taliban would stick it to the Russians just as fast as they would to the Americans. Prove it happened. Prove it didn't happen. Neither can be done which is exactly what Trump's opponents planned.

You know what this tells me? The GDrats know the polls showing Biden ahead by mega points are fake so they have to go back to a new Russia Russia hoax to try and convince people that President Trump is a traitor.

The LSM knows this story is true. It comes from the ValJar alternate white house. It is not the accuracy of the report, it is the seriousness of the charge! Just another lead balloon.

Plenty has been written about the rock solid political love fest between President Trump and white evangelical Protestants. It’s been a unique match made in heaven that propelled Trump to the presidency. (Snip) Officials with Joe Biden’s campaign tell Just The News they believe they’ll be able to pull off a surprise this fall and bring in some voters from the evangelical movement. “The battle for the soul of our nation deeply resonates with evangelicals,” says John McCarthy, deputy national political director for the Biden Campaign. “They would be open to Joe Biden’s message as well.”

RUSH: Let me wrap up setting the table as it is for President Trump and what all of this means. It means that you have got to maintain your support. Trump’s base must stay devoted, it must stay loyal, it must remain fearless.(Snip)The left has gamed all this out, folks. They know it. If Trump uses force, sends in troops to get back that three- or six-square-block area of Seattle, if he sends in troops, it’s a big risk because the governors and the mayors there do not want that. And what if the military doesn’t respond to his order? Use force?

President Trump announced Friday that he signed an executive order to protect American monuments, memorials and statues and threatened those who try to pull them down with “long prison time.”(Snip)The new order enforces laws prohibiting the desecration of public monuments, the vandalism of government property, and recent acts of violence, withholds federal support tied to public spaces from state and local governments that have failed to protect public monuments, and withdraws federal grants for jurisdictions and law enforcement agencies that fail to stop their desecration. It also provides assistance for protecting the federal statues.

From one perspective, the surreal absurdity of the current protests, vandalism, and riots is not even close to the disruption and mayhem of the political violence in the Sixties and Seventies.(Snip)But what’s going on today is more dangerous, for the ideologies driving the disorder reflect just how successful the leftist “long march through the institutions” has been at corrupting American education and culture over the last half a century. As a result, ideas and behaviors that by consensus were out of bounds then, have now been normalized and abetted by civic leaders and politicians, as well as popular culture, schools, and even sports.

As calls to “defund the police” and dismantle “systemic racism” echo across the nation, conservative author David Horowitz, a longtime critic of America’s internal enemies is speaking out in a concise but effective five-minute video to expose the Left’s anti-white racism in order to silence their opponents and create a one-party state. “Civilizations die when they cease to believe in themselves,” Horowitz comments in the video. “America is under attack at home and abroad by forces that are both secular and religious, and the chief weapon of the enemies of America is race - or rather their distorted picture of race relations in America.”

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — President Donald Trump’s plans to kick off Independence Day with a showy display at Mount Rushmore are drawing sharp criticism from Native Americans who view the monument as a desecration of land violently stolen from them and used to pay homage to leaders hostile to native people. Several groups led by Native American activists are planning protests for Trump’s July 3 visit, part of Trump's “comeback” campaign for a nation reeling from sickness, unemployment and, recently, social unrest. The event is slated to include fighter jets thundering over the 79-year-old stone monument in South Dakota's Black Hills

WASHINGTON - U.S. Marshals have been told they should prepare to help protect national monuments across the country, according to an email directive viewed by The Washington Post, as President Donald Trump has vowed stern punishment for those who vandalize or destroy such structures as part of police violence protests. In an email, Marshals Assistant Director Andrew Smith wrote that the service "has been asked to immediately prepare to provide federal law enforcement support to protect national monuments (throughout the country)." "This is a challenging assignment due to the breadth of possible targets for criminal activity," Smith wrote.

Tucker Carlson opened Tuesday's edition of "Tucker Carlson Tonight" blasting liberal leaders for tolerating, if not supporting, the destruction of statues and historical monuments by far-left and anarchist protesters. "Democratic politicians don't fear the mob," Carlson continued. "Why? Because they don't need to. They control the mob. The mob operates with their permission. These are their foot soldiers. This is their militia. In unguarded moments, Democrats make it very clear that they know this." The host then connected protesters, Democrats and federal agencies, saying they were jointly responsible for the division and destruction in America.

It’s certainly frustrating to watch a pack of reeking leftist (Snip) declare a portion of an American city an “autonomous zone” – what is it with Democrats and their secession fetish? – but do not get frustrated because Donald Trump has not sent the 101st Airborne in to powerwash the human grunge from Seattle’s feces-bedecked streets. That’s what the Democrats want. And Trump--a better strategic thinker than all the media geniuses, hack politicians, and Afghan War-losing generals who cry about him--is not only not going to give them the victory they crave. He’s going to jam their cheesy plan down their throats.

"He has started attacking and trying to undermine every big city Democratic mayor, especially the women."

Decisions on abortion and separation of powers demonstrate how good ideas about the law become empty words on a page. T here is a saying — perhaps as old as Aristotle — that courage is the first virtue, because it makes all the others possible. We usually associate courage (or its absence) with leadership by elected officials: There are times when it is hard to stand up for your principles, to stand against your own party, or both. From judges, we are told, the important thing is to follow, not to lead: to have the ascetic self-discipline to apply the Constitution and laws as written,

Conservatives were outraged eight years ago when Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts voted with the liberals on the court to uphold Obamacare's individual mandate. His swing almost singlehandedly saved the Affordable Care Act. A few years removed and he made a few better decisions, somewhat appeasing conservatives. But last year he helped kill the census citizenship question. Then, last week, he voted with liberals to reject President Trump's attempt to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. The court didn't say that Trump couldn't reverse the program, but that his legal reasoning wasn't up to par.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday struck down a Louisiana law regulating abortion clinics, reasserting a commitment to abortion rights over fierce opposition from dissenting conservative justices in the first big abortion case of the Trump era. Chief Justice John Roberts joined with his four more liberal colleagues in ruling that the law requiring doctors who perform abortions have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals violates the abortion right the court first announced in the landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973. In two previous abortion cases, Roberts had favored restrictions. The Louisiana law is virtually identical to one in Texas that the court struck down in 2016.

The St. Louis lawyers who pulled weapons on protesters marching past their home are being investigated for possible criminal charges, the city’s lead prosecutor has revealed. Mark and Patricia McCloskey — who went viral after brandishing an AR-15-style rifle and a silver-colored handgun, respectively — were the only ones to lodge a police report over Sunday’s confrontation, insisting they were “victims” of threatening trespassers who entered a gated community, the St. Louis American noted. But the husband-and-wife lawyers are being probed by police and prosecutors for possible threats against the crowd, authorities announced Monday.
