FBI Confirms No Federal Hate Crime Committed
at Talladega NASCAR Event

Original Article

The Federal Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Attorney’s Office reported on Tuesday that no federal hate crimes were committed with the noose found in the garage stall housing the Richard Petty Motorsports No. 43 entry for Bubba Wallace on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway. In a statement attributed to U.S. Attorney Jay E. Town and FBI Special Agent in Charge Johnnie Sharp, the office stated: "On Monday, fifteen FBI special agents conducted numerous interviews regarding the situation at Talladega Superspeedway. After a thorough review of the facts and evidence surrounding this event, we have concluded that no federal crime was committed."

Comments:

NASCAR achieved its kumbaya moment. The King had his moment in the sun as a good ol' boys icon. Bubba blubbered. Everyone stood and cheered. Ok, so there was no noose. A simple mistake. And that's not the point of this, from Bubba becoming a #BLM celebrity to this half-arsed investigation and ultimate finding that NO ONE is responsible for this irresponsible occurrence that smeared "racist" America. Yes, NASCAR, let's hear the facts. Who reported...who initially took the "noose" and investigated. My bet...no one did. This has corporate "social justice" stink all over it. And it keeps Bubba and The King clean.

My bad: According to NASCAR a crew member saw the noose, brought it to the attention of his crew chief, who then went to the NASCAR series director Jay Fabian, and NASCAR launched its investigation. Now, does anyone believe the crew chief and series director were unable to recognize this noose for what it was, universally used in the garage area to open and close garage doors? It explains why no pics were published of the offending noose. And the Governor of Alabama also needs to apologize to her constituents for her comments. Nothing like trusting the people...

The absence of racial hatred will be the lead story on every cable news channel - - and in every newspaper - - for the next month. Coverage will be extensive and in-depth. Bubba will profusely apologize for falsely stirring up racial animosity. And NASCAR will humbly proclaim its errors and its shame to its fans - - and to all the American people. And then we will all ride our unicorns into a summer of love.

Had it not been for CTH and Sundance going public with photographic evidence that the 'noose" was but a garage door pull cord, does anyone believe the FBI would have issued their press release and not allowed the hate crime narrative to continue, if not pick up speed? Some poor schmuck would likely have faced a lengthy jail term or worse, over this non-criminal use of a thin cord, had the hoax not been eviscerated by CTH.

...fifteen FBI special agents... Fifteen! And in yet another case of systemic ignorance, it the rope was fashioned into a noose of any sort (clearly, it wasn't a hangman's noose) then after a season of use the eye would have been reduced to the size of a finger. That's what nooses are supposed to do. More likely, it was a hitch - probably a bowline hitch, in which the eye retains its size when tension is applied to the rope. Unlike some other posters, I predict that NASCAR is going to dissociate itself very quickly from this episode. Bubba won't apologize because he was only told what was found. Anyone at his level needs to be absolutely sure of the truth before making a public spectacle.

To me the big story here is that it took 15 FBI agents to investigate "a nothing burger". Why is it the FBI can never find the time, people or money to investigate the financiers and perpetrators of the domestic terror taking place around our country right now. Property is being destroyed, people are being murdered, defenseless people are frightened across state lines and the FBI wastes time and resources on a noose that never existed. Pathetic!!

We are certain that not one of the 15 agents flew commercial, was hassled by the TSA or wore a mask during the flight. Director Wray and his FBI are an expensive joke.

YEAH. Played. Photos so show it. I'm ready for Marines to come in any day now, ANY city now. Let's end this, or we are OVER. Next thing is storming Arlington Natl Cemetery. It is coming. You know that. But the insurrectionists will have to look up EACH grave to figure out if they were on THEIR side or maybe neutral or maybe didn't know or maybe...who the hell knows. Jesus is being ready to be torn down everywhere. Are people ready to STOP, or are they waiting on permission? Marines? Seal Teams? We can't get home from our downtown now. Surrounded by "rioters" who threaten, try to break in, break glass, 9-1-1 refuses. Says Mayor said stand down. Can't come out of garages w/o being attacked, so you have to DRIVE and maybe HIT people who want to KILL you. WTH??? When do the placid Republicans get attacked? Or their homes? THey have addresses. WTH is going on that we do not have a major military intervention on our own grounds to counter insurrection? People who work downtown are now carrying and will use if they are attacked in their cars. You NEVER leave your vehicle or you will certainly die. Monsters, all. Does anyone on this site realize the DANGER THEY are in? I don't think so.

Spoiler alert: 2020 has been rough on the American psyche. Folks in the U.S. are more unhappy today than they've been in nearly 50 years. This bold – yet unsurprising – conclusion comes from the COVID Response Tracking Study, conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago. It finds that just 14% of American adults say they're very happy, down from 31% who said the same in 2018. That year, 23% said they'd often or sometimes felt isolated in recent weeks. Now, 50% say that. The survey, conducted in late May, draws on nearly a half-century of research...

U.S. shale drillers are bringing back shut in production three months after the onset of the current downturn. But steep decline rates will increasingly take hold, dragging down overall U.S. output later this year. With oil prices approaching $40 per barrel, many drillers are covering immediate operational costs. Rystad Energy estimates that “a bit more than 300,000 bpd” of shut in U.S. oil production has come back online. A total of 1.15 million barrels per day (mb/d) was shut in in April and May, and that output will “return swiftly over July and August,” JBC Energy wrote in a note.

According to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), Ocasio-Cortez spent about $6.3 million of $10.5 million raised, more than any other Democrat up for reelection in 2020. As of Wednesday afternoon, with 88% of precincts reporting, AOC had garnered 73 percent of the ballots cast compared to Caruso-Cabrera’s 19 percent.
